Anti Israel Bias

Now we dont have to look far to see the bias against Israel in the media, seems that everyone from the BBC to the new age tree huggers at El Guardian are lining up to take swipes at Israel and I have not even mentioned some of the Government people here in the UK like a certain Jack Straw MP.

Getting onto our Jack Straw only the other week we had him bleating to anyone who would listen that Israel should lay down its arms and talk peace, maybe peace sounds good on paper but when the other side refuses to disband as agreed with the UN is such a peace worth having? Jack Straw MP may have adopted dhimmi as a way of life but Israel have more backbone than the Rht Hon. Jack Straw MP.

Then we have that inept and morally bankrupt organ the U.N. They refuse even to mention the fact that they themselves called on the terrorists attacking Israel to disband a mere two years ago and have the nerve to attack a nation defending itself.

Lets take a look at the UN, here is the resolution in question: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1559

U.N. Security Council Resolution 1559 was a resolution sponsored by France and the United States and adopted on September 2, 2004. It called upon Syria to end its military presence in Lebanon by withdrawing its forces and to cease intervening in internal Lebanese politics. The resolution also called on all Lebanese militias (including Hezbollah) to disband.

Lets take a look at the latest news on the fact that some civilians have been killed, Hezbollah deliberately launches rockets right next to a building full of people. Israel counter-attacks with a bomb. The explosion takes out the launching site and knocks down the building right next to it. Many of the people in the building die.

Hezbollah and their arms suppliers in Iran cheer at the loss of life, quickly rushing out bullshit reports on Israel targetting civilians, while the pro Arabic media like the BBC lap it up. Meanwhile we have the corrupt head thief at the UN Kofi Anan bleating on about Israel while not saying a word on why Hezbollah have not disarmed.

Hey for what its worth, the Israelis can nuke all of Lebanon and Iran, Syria and any other middle eastern repressive fuck hole nation back to the stone age as far as I am concerned. In fact they could do this, they are a nuclear state and they have that ultimate big stick to wave should they ever need to. The difference between them and the barbarians they are fighting is they abide by UN resolutions time and time again, yet the other sides keep breaking the rules, rules they also signed up to. Yet we see Israel being shown as the aggressors.

Here we see the brave fighters who hide behind women and children firing missles aimed at civilians.

Some facts left out of the left wing medias reporting on the Qana story:

  • Some 150 rockets have been fired at Israeli cities from Qana over the past 20 days. This IDF map traces how these rockets have been launched in 30 salvos at Haifa and other locations, including Nahariya, Ma'alot and Kiryat Shmona. To date, 18 Israeli civilians have been killed and hundreds wounded as a result of this rocket fire
  • Hezbollah has been deliberately hiding behind and operating from within civilian areas in the knowledge that Israel does not deliberately target civilians. Thus, when a terrible accident such as Qana occurs, Hezbollah is presented with a propaganda coup, as is currently the case. Indeed, Australia's Herald Sun published damning photos.
  • While Israeli civilians in northern towns and cities have between 15 seconds and one minute to find cover after an air raid siren is sounded, Lebanese civilians have been forewarned of IDF operations, in some cases, by days. The residents of Qana were warned 48 hours in advance of potential IAF air strikes.

Good News From Iraq

33 terrorists killed in daylong battle with ISF, MND-B Soldiers
FOB KALSU, Iraq – Iraqi Security Forces and Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers engaged in a heated firefight with terrorists in Musayyib July 23.

Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, along with Iraqi army soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 8th Iraqi Army Division, Musayyib police officers, and members of Hillah SWAT, killed 33 terrorists during the day-long battle.

“This was a coordinated, sustained and complex attack against Iraqi police and 1-67 AR elements in the city,” said Lt. Col. Patrick Donahoe, commander, 1-67 AR.

We received reports of small skirmishes between IPs and terrorists erupting at a police station, including the seizing of IP vehicles and weapons in the main downtown circle, which includes the Husseniya, said Donahoe. Soldiers from Company D, 1-67 AR, were in the area to investigate reports of death squads making a presence in the area and surprised the terrorists when they arrived on the scene so quickly.

“When we entered the downtown area, we soon came under fire from the area around the Husseniya, including a rocket-propelled attack from inside the structure,” said Capt. Irvin Oliver, commander, Co. D, 1-67 AR.

The Soldiers dug in while other elements of 1-67 AR and their Iraqi counterparts rushed to assist and defeat the terrorists.

The combined force cordoned off the city from all directions, keeping the fight to a scaled area and making sure innocent civilians were not harmed. Combat Aviation elements soon arrived on the scene and witnessed and filmed armed individuals entering numerous buildings around the city.

An AH-64 Apache helicopter engaged a fuel truck suspected of being laden with explosives as it made its way toward 1-67 AR’s position.

Terrorists fired on the combined forces from a building. A 2nd BCT M1A2 Abrams tank crew eliminated the threat when it fired its 120mm gun, killing the six terrorists inside, said Oliver. Terrorist RPG teams set up positions throughout the area and continued attacking.

“The professionalism and thorough training of the Soldiers was evident as they took out the teams, one by one. Every guy stepped up during the fight; I have never been as proud of my company as I was during this battle,” said Oliver.

“The IA soldiers fought right along side us, and I was honored to have them as part of our team. They proved that they are more than ready to provide security in the province,” he added.

Small-arms fire was exchanged for a few more hours. The emplacement of roadside bombs by the terrorists failed to deny MND-B Soldiers and ISF movement in the area. The remaining terrorists fled their positions and fled the city.

“The battalion rode the sound of the guns; we fed overwhelming combat power into the city on multiple axes to defeat this threat to the rule of law. When the IPs were challenged by well-armed criminals, we joined with the Iraqi army to restore order,” said Donahoe.

“The men who attacked the IPs and CF were criminals and looters who won’t listen to the district councilor to the sheiks,” said Themir Theban, a representative of the Office of the Martyr Sadr.

The attackers pointed their weapons at the Imam in the Husseniya, he added, so help was solicited from CF to arrest the ringleaders.

“Thugs and criminals tried to take over Musayyib, but they failed because the Iraqi army and police are unbeatable when they work together. The CFs were proud to assist their brothers,” said Col. John Tully, commander, 2nd BCT, 4th Inf. Div.

FOB RUSTAMIYAH, Iraq
– Iraqi policemen, along with Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers from Company B, 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment and 519th Military Police Battalion, both of 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, disarmed a roadside bomb and captured a sniper suspected of shooting a civilian interpreter accompanying the Soldiers in eastern Baghdad Sunday.

While patrolling the New Baghdad area, Soldiers of Co. B observed a bomb by the roadside and called in an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team to safely destroy the bomb in place.

“I saw the suspicious item on the side of the road, and we stopped to secure the area,” said Sgt. 1st Class Elsen Peter, platoon sergeant, 3rd Platoon, Co. B, 3-67 AR.

As the Soldiers secured the site, a shot rang out and hit their interpreter in the arm. Soldiers from Co. D, 3-67th AR, arrived to assist with security and attack aviation helicopters flew in to provide security from the air. The Co. B Soldiers evacuated the wounded interpreter.

“Spc. Brandon Mills did a great job assessing the injury and stopping the bleeding. The medics left the field dressing he put on in place because it was so well done as our interpreter was evacuated to the combat hospital,” said Peter.

“My Soldiers performed well. They took care of our interpreter with care at the scene, then evacuated him,” said Capt. Ryan Stamatis, commander, Co. B.

Soldiers from the 258th MP Co., 519th MP Bn., detained one local national and confiscated two .22 caliber rifles with scopes, two air rifles with gunpowder, a .22 caliber pistol, approximately 2,000 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition, two weapon silencers and three additional high-power scopes. Together with Iraqi police officers, they found the material in a room with a broken window, which allowed for direct vision of the interpreter’s location when the sniper fire occurred.

Co. B completed a search of the suspected sniper’s house with the 258th MP Co. and Iraqi police.

“The combined aspect of the Iraqi police helping find the shooter shows the (Iraqi Security Forces) taking the lead to protect the Iraqi people and provide better security. The Iraqi police are doing their job well,” said Stamatis.

The incident remains under investigation by and Iraqi authorities.

Coalition forces capture alleged foreign terrorist leader

BAGHDAD – Coalition forces announce the capture of 'Umar Hasan Al Rashid Al Dusuri, aka , Ja’far ‘Abdallah Jasim ‘Abdallah, an alleged al-Qaida in Iraq foreign terrorist originally from Saudi Arabia.

Ja’far ‘Adballah admitted to being a member of al-Qaida, and claims he illegally entered Iraq through Syria in July 2005. He provided extensive information of the foreign militia network targeting innocent Iraqi civilians, with the goal of encouraging sectarian violence through Iraq. He admitted to working with multiple terrorist cells throughout Tikrit and the Salah Al Din province.

The lower-level terrorist leader admitted to participating in the Peshmerga checkpoint attack on May 21 in Al Dhuluiya, where he was shot in the neck during the attack. At one time he was also designated as a suicide bomber in the terrorist organization. In fact, he was already in the cue to blow himself up and was only waiting for a mission to be assigned, he said.

Ja’far ‘Abdallah was captured during a raid in Tikrit announced earlier in the month that also resulted in the successful capture of another senior al-Qaida leader in the region. He provided Coalition forces with additional insight into the leadership and operations of al-Qaida in Iraq.

Iraqi and Coalition officials will continue to work closely to ensure Ja’far ‘Abdallah will receive due process through the Iraqi justice system.

Gordon Brown - PM in waiting(A total cunt and a hypocrite of the 1st order)

Now cast your minds back over the years back to the good ol days when torys were the fascist bastards and the Zanu New Labour lot were known as the Labour Party with no trace of the word "new" in any way shape or form...

Lets take a look at the words of our PM in waiting, the one eye'd freak from north of the border showing his support for what he used to call a case of "fat cattery"and a lack of investment support that the privatisations would bring to the UK.

Yet just this month we have our Gordon taking a trip(expenses paid?) to the city to open the new offices of investment bank Kleinwort. So while the one eye'd one was there he must have forgotten the days when he opposed them - then known as -Kleinwort Benson one of the merchant banks hauled in for the privatisations of: water gas and the telecoms.

Indeed after many a year on the other side of the house insulting such companies and their negative impact on the UK according to the former Zanu New Labour bunch of spivs, just this month we have cyclops Brown using as his theme when he opened the new offices Kleinworts and I quote: "fantasic" contribution to the UK ecomomy over the decades...

The Soldiers and IPs searched the building and found five blocks of explosives, an AK-47 and ammunition. Six suspects were questioned and taken into custody in connection with the incident.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team removed the explosives without further incident.

Abu Hamza - Stumping up a right hook

After the joyfull news about fat fuck Omar Bakri trying and failing to sneak his fat lazy arse back into the UK so as to keep himself safe from Israeli bombs oh and to resume his idle indolent life on benefits, I found this gem in todays Sun newspaper.

Jailed hate cleric Abu Hamza has been fined half his jail privileges for threatening to punch a prison warder with his stumps(just as well he never had his hooks on at the time as that could have been dangerous)

Although as of yet there is no news as to his being removed from general population to a solitary cell away from his cell mate -- a ticking crocodile. Mind you if the prison governor is really cruel he could remove him from his staring role in this years jail panto where he plays the role of Capt. Hook.

From todays Sun Newspaper(story pasted below): http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006340500,00.html

HOOKED-HANDED Abu Hamza has been fined half his jail privileges — for threatening to punch a warder with his STUMPS.

The hate-monger Muslim cleric, who also faces a disciplinary hearing, raged after his BEARD was searched in a routine security check.

It happened before he met lawyers at top security Belmarsh nick in South London.

An insider said: “He was spitting with anger when his beard was checked and said it was an insult to his religion.

“He flew at the warder and threatened to punch him. He has tremendous strength in his stumps and the threat was taken very seriously.”

Hamza, 47 — serving seven years for whipping up race hate — was placed on report for violent conduct.

Privileges granted for good behaviour as an ‘enhanced prisoner’ were withdrawn.

The insider said: “That’s real punishment. His visits will be cut and he’ll have half the usual £30 a week to spend in the canteen.”

The governor will decide on further punishment, if any. Hamza — whose hands were blown off by a bomb — can only wear his hooks in his cell.

He will not use an expensive false hand made for him.

He is a figurehead for young Muslims at Belmarsh and may be sent to Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight where there are fewer followers.

** Dont worry to much there Abu as there is always someone on your side...(hint as to who that might be below)

Jack Idema will be live today from 5-6 EST.

Although he has the amazing if not unbelievable capability of broadcasting on WAR Radio from the notorious Pulacharke prison in Afghanistan, these guys are still in prison and should be released.

More evidence showing clearly that Jack Idema is exactly what he has always said he is…and a whole world full of brilliant journalists and fake counter terrorism experts, phony colonels and ufo wackos can pile all they know about Afghanistan, the Taliban, etc.,- on the head of a pin. t would seem to me that the press has worked to prevent this information from coming out; and smearing Jack Idema in the process.

Jack and his men were charged with:

“Entering the Country Illegally”

“Making an illegal Arrest without a Warrant”

“Detaining prisoners in a private Facility”

Did anyone notice that? Compare the REAL charges with what the MSM was saying. Wow…I just did a google search for “News” and put in the search terms “Jack Idema” and NOTHING CAME UP. Suffice is to say if I could bring up some articles about Jack (which have mysteriously disappeared in the google news area), I would be quoting articles that portray him as an insane, sadistic, renegade ex-Green Beret who led his own private army inside Afghanistan rounding up innocent Afghans and beating them and hanging them upside down in his own private jail in Kabul. Ok, all I really need to do is go over to Kathryn Cramer’s leftist equivalent of the National Enquirer…but no thanks.

So all the articles which the science fiction freaks have spun, and the MSM has promulgated, and the blogs have re-printed about Jack being a “rogue” and a “bounty hunter” and being ‘convicted of “torturing innocent afghans”, “hanging them upside down in the basement” of their ‘private prison’ is a bunch of unmitigated propaganda and smear.

On the first count of “Entering the Country Illegally”: Jack and his men were declared “not guilty” of this charge in the trial de novo, when the video of Jack was played in court showing him being greeted by top Afghan officials including the Chief of the National Police and Karzai’s brother, and filling out forms at the VIP/Diplomat gate at the Kabul airport.

On the second count of “Making an Illegal Arrest without a Warrant”, the Director of the Afghan National Security Council approved those arrests and sent an NSC detachment with Jack and his men to help secure the arrests.

On the third count of “detaining prisoners in a private facility”, this one makes me laugh out loud. There were over 40 safehouses like the one Jack had all over Kabul, where terrorists were being questioned before they were handed over to Bagram AFB. What happened to all the rest? This charge was also dismissed by the Appeals Court, because the evidence showed it was an official office and not a private facility.

The MSM, in fact, knew the information they were putting out on this case was flagrant and blatant lies; yet they continued to perpetrate the fraud. There were many reasons for this; the Abu Ghraib incident had the American government, the DOD, the DOJ and all the rest, trying desperately to do ‘damage control’. Sadly, the horrifying result of this was leaving Jack Idema and Brent Bennett completely hung out to dry, with no American government support, left to face the completely false and fabricated charges of ‘torture and abuse’ which didn’t even remotely resemble the original charges.

This is absolutely disgraceful; because in the light of day, the truth of what happened in the case of Jack Idema, Brent Bennett and Ed Caraballo in Afghanistan is that they captured terrorists who were plotting to murder Yanus Qanooni and several other big wigs in the Northern Alliance; our former allies in the 2001-2002 war, in much the same way as they killed Massoud.

I suppose where the outrage came from, and why this became such a big issue in Afghanistan, was that Jack’s efforts after capturing Ghulumsaki off the bus and questioning him, turned up an entire terrorist cell which included a Supreme Court Judge, Judge Sidiq. In the trial de novo, pictures were shown of Judge Sidiq meeting with one of the world’s top terrorists, Gulbideen Hekmatyar, along with one of Sidiq’s brothers, Malikyar, the original terrorist Task Force Saber/7 was hunting.

Hekmatyar is best remembered for his bloody siege on Kabul and killing more than 20,000 civilians, women, and children with Russian Katucha rockets and tank shells. According to Peter Bergen, one of the world’s foremost authorities on terrorists, and author of HOLY WAR, INC based on his meeting with Osama bin Laden, Hekmatyar is an “ultra-Islamic Taliban” who once “slaughtered 36 men under the Command of Ahmad Shah Massoud… in July 1989,” and later killed “thousands of civilians in Kabul…” from 1992 onward (quoted from page 76, Holy War, Inc., by Peter Bergen).

Let’s go back to what actually occurred back in 2004 before their arrest. Jack and his men first captured first Ghulamsaki, the terrorist the FBI knew about, and subsequently captured 95% of the entire al-Qaida and Hezb-i-Islami terrorist operation cell behind the murderous terrorist plan. In four different operations and raids, they captured terrorists, explosives, detonators, and vehicles that were to be used in the terrorist plot.

This plot involved the assassination of the Afghan President, Minister of Defense, Minister of Education, two ambassadors, and the leaders of Massoud’s Jamiat Party. Had any of them been successful it would have resulted in certain civil war and the deaths of untold Afghan and American lives.

Jack and his men, a full two years later, now find themselves imprisoned with Al Qaeda and Taliban terrorists at a horrible place; the infamous Pulacharke prison, while the terrorists who were detained, have been set free.

These terrorists, who were working directly for Osama bin Laden and Gulbideen Hekmatyar, both on America’s Most Wanted list at the time, claimed they were tortured and abused; and claimed Jack and his men smashed their heads in bloody bags, cut off fingers, poured boiling water on them, hung them upside down and dipped them in boiling water, repeatedly burned them with cigarettes, beat them day and night, and refused to feed them.

Yet when the Afghan intelligence agency took custody of them, and two American FBI agents interviewed them, only a few days after all this supposed “heinous torture” occurred, only one of the terrorists had any mark or injury whatsoever; Serajan’s “torture” wounds amounted to two small cuts on the front of both his ankles. These incredibly minor abrasions were self-inflicted when Serajan attempted to break the plastic flex-cuffs securing his feet during the transport from the terrorists safe-house rented for him with money directly from Osama bin Laden, and later while he was sitting alone in an interrogation room.

Almost all of this was confirmed by the two FBI agents who interviewed Jack, his men, and the terrorists. But even stranger is the fact that this particular FBI is now “classified”.

But to bring this home to Americans, think about this: Four fuel tankers driving into Bagram Air Base (fuel tankers are constantly daily arriving at Bagram) laden with gas and explosives as they passed through the gates. The explosives would never be discovered as the terrorists were using a combination of plastic explosives and incendiary explosives which American bomb dogs could not detect.

The result would have been flaming bodies of hundreds of American soldiers in a scene that would have dwarfed the Beirut Marine barracks bombing and brought back the vision of burning victims plunging to their deaths on 9/11.

President Bush said, in September 2001, that all Americans were now soldiers, in the war on terror. He called upon each of us to do whatever we could to stop terror and save American lives. Jack and his men have done that, and at considerable personal sacrifice; something which a Kathryn Cramer has absolutely no sympathy for.

Together with a few brave Americans and Afghan soldiers who fought with Jack during the liberation of Afghanistan, Jack and his men stopped the terror attacks before they occurred. That is something Americans have wanted for years. Pre-emptive action before innocent lives are lost that produced RESULTS, not FBI forensic investigations after the attack.

In doing so they proved what Thomas Kean [Chairman] of the 9/11 Commission said, “it takes most importantly imagination to interdict terrorists and their plots.”

Although they saved the lives of hundreds of Americans, and according to the brother of Afghan Minister Yunis Qanooni, “millions of Afghans in what would have been a bloody civil war,” throughout the activities of their group, code-named Task Force Saber/7, they were in constant communication with the Pentagon, and had repeatedly requested assistance and the transfer of prisoners to U.S. military custody.

They were constantly told by Pentagon officials that things were being put in place to “protect and support” them. They were constantly told that Task Force 180 and Task Force 176 (180’s successors) would contact them to arrange transferring custody of the terrorists. Had it not been for the July 4th holiday, they still believe this probably would have occurred prior to their arrest on July 6, 2004.

However, during that time, someone at TF180 put out false and fabricated “wanted posters” saying Jack was wanted by the FBI. The FBI claims that the poster was a fraud, but never arrested or even questioned the person that authored this bogus poster.

With both remote-controlled bomb factories located, and armed with the photos and locations of the lead terrorist running the terror plot for bin Laden and Hekmatyar, Jack and his men were then forced to deal with the problem of this poster and the information in it, instead of arresting the remaining terrorists.

During this time they were working closely with Afghan Interim Government officials at the highest levels, including, but not limited to; Yunis Qanooni and his brother Chief of Security; Generals Atta, Lodeen, Gulhaider, Wassiq, Dauod, Hazrat Ali all Corps Commanders, and others; Amniat intelligence officers, area police chiefs, and a prominent Afghan ambassador.

In one instance, where Afghan women had to be dealt with, they requested, and were provided with, a female national police detective to speak to the women. This was the only interaction we ever had with Afghan women, and Afghan law was followed to the letter.

Having to deal with the “wanted poster” situation, they sought the Pentagon’s counsel, which stated “it was an overzealous captain” and “we are trying to resolve it.” They then notified the Afghan ambassador who they were working with (he was also a target of the terrorists, and bin Laden’s al-Qaida had severely wounded him during the September 9th, 2001 suicide bombing that killed Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud). They also requested phone meetings with Amrullah, Chief of NDS, and with President Hamid Karzai. Both of these meetings were to be scheduled the day after their arrest. However, three days before their arrest, they met with Marshall Fahim, the Minister of Defense, briefing him on the entire operation, and requested three things; 1) a meeting with General Dauod (MOD intelligence Chief); 2) transfer to MOD custody of the terrorists– if the U.S. did not arrange transfer in 72 hours; and 3) assistance with Bagram Air Base.

Marshall Fahim was shown the poster and he asked if he could discuss it with Ambassador Khalilzad that next afternoon at the Friday July 4th celebration at the U.S. embassy. They agreed and left the poster with him.

On Saturday, and Sunday July 3-4, 2004, they repeatedly sent emails to the Pentagon and the U.S. Navy Captain Frank at the U.S. Embassy requesting assistance. Captain Frank, we were told, was to be our liaison at the Embassy. Prior to this we contacted the Canadian government, both at the embassy in Kabul and in Canada, where our U.S. office reached out for Canada’s JTF6. We began discussions with the Canadians because by this time they learned that two of the detained terrorists had organized and led the killing of Lance Corporal Jaime Murphy on January 27th, 2004, during which Murphy’s ISAF jeep had been attacked on Darlaman Road in Kabul by a suicide bomber.

They learned, however, from one of the terrorists that it had not been a suicide bombing. The bomb’s detonator had malfunctioned, setting off the explosion as the terrorist threw the explosive onto Murphy’s jeep.

Our interest was in confirming; 1) that the Canadians would take custody, and 2) that the Canadians would prosecute if they were given enough evidence.

Here is another example of a government’s failing in terms of supporting its soldiers.

Jack also discussed this with General Attiquallah Lodeen, 3rd Corps Commander in Logar, through his staff. General Lodeen was in Dubai at the time and they felt it was important to get his opinion because the same terrorists had engineered both prior attempts to blow up General Lodeen’s car. The map of one of the assassination attempts was found in one of the terrorist’s personal notebooks. General Lodeen’s son brought back the message that they could turn that particular terrorist over to the Canadians.

Unfortunately, the Canadian government did not feel like prosecuting Jaime Murphy’s killers was a top priority, and did not notify Jack and his men of this decision prior to their arrest.

Two questions will probably arise; first, How did they find the terrorists? Second, How did they get them to cooperate?

First, they had what western government agencies lack in Afghanistan and in regards to al-Qaida– HUMINT, or human intelligence. This is Jack’s specialty. He personally had sources from during the war that were still working with him but would not work with U.S. Agencies, because they knew that many of the interpreters at the embassy, Kabul Compound, and Bagram Air Base were compromised by the Taliban and al-Qaida. In fact, Jack’s intelligence was so good that they knew in advance that the first terrorist they captured would be carrying a Red Cross message from his brother, an al-Qaida operative currently in GITMO, Cuba. It was in his pocket when they captured him. U.S. intel and the FBI only dream of information that accurate.

Second, they knew so much about the terrorists before they captured them that during the interrogation it was easy to manipulate and trick them into believing they had already captured their Network and that their terrorist comrades were already cooperating. Jack kept them awake with 24 hours of non-stop questioning, played loud Rock and Roll music and offered to let them work for us if they would turn over on the others. All those who they questioned turned on each other. When one didn’t, we did not beat him, we simple confronted him with two that were cooperating and he quickly decided to join the same team.

Once they told them a little they gave them non-stop Miranda soda and restaurant kabob and promises of a new job working against terrorism.

In Jack’s own words:

The soldiers in Iraq that claim their abuse of prisoners was ordered by MI (Military Intelligence) are liars. You only have a few days at most to get actionable intelligence. Let a terrorist sit in a cell and you lose the initiative to find the others. Beat the terrorists and he admits to anything or nothing. Again you lose. Humiliate the terrorist and he hates you and feeds you lies.

Your only way to get the terrorists to talk is sleep deprivation, promises for freedom if he gives up the other terrorists, and convincing the terrorist you are his friend.

The Afghan NDS (intelligence agency) and FBI, have the videotapes of the interrogations. These videos prove Jack and his men are completely innocent of the charges of torture. However, both agencies refused to allow their attorneys or anyone on Jack’s side to view the tapes or play them in court. These tapes prove that these terrorists were on the verge of assassinations and fire bombing Bagram Air Base with a plot that rivaled any terror attacks in recent history, and might have even approached the levels of terror reached on 9/11 had the fuel tankers reached the military housing areas at Bagram Air Base.

Four of Jack’s Team were declared innocent of all charges by the Afghan Second Court, which granted a trial de novo (a new trial) and three of Jack’s men were ordered to be released immediately by the Appeals Court after hearing evidence from Afghan government police officers and learning that the FBI was present during torture sessions and seized evidence in the case for the second time.

During the hearing, Sherzai Ahmadi, one of Idema’s men, testified that he was beaten and drugged by NDS agents and “foreigners” at which time he woke up with purple ink on his thumb, indicating he had signed a statement. Ahmadi told the Court that he thought it was a dream. Ahmadi says he was given three blue tablets, believed to be Valium, for his torture injuries, then rendered incapable of resisting his fingerprint on a false statement.

Major Ezmerai, Idema’s close protection officer, testified that he was electrocuted, and showed the court the electrical burns on his palms, which were still present five months later. Even after repeated electrocution, Major Ezmerai, a Ministry of Defence employee and 15 year veteran of the Panshir Army and Northern Alliance, refused to sign any statement against his American co-defendants. Idema claims that the torture of his men occurred in the presence of American FBI agents and with the knowledge of the “highest levels of the FBI in Washington.”

Members of Idema’s team, including Major Ezmerai Amin, a commissioned officer in the Afghan Ministry of Defence were ordered released, as was Sohail Shohabi, a translator, and Sherzai Ahmadi, a house worker.

Lieutenant Wahid Rasuli, who the group refers to as “Zorro,” and is also a Ministry of Defence employee, refused to be released without Idema and the rest of the team, requesting the judges allow him to stay in prison with the Jack Idema and the two other Americans until the trials were completed. Rasuli told the judges, “in this group there is only one thing I have learned above all else, leave no man behind. I request to stay.” The judges granted his request. The Release Order frees the other three men with time served, which was apparently drafted with the idea of preventing future litigation for false imprisonment.

Attorney John Tiffany, who represented Jack Idema, the team’s leader, said, “the first trial was a sham. No prosecution witness gave testimony under oath, no cross-examination or questions of any kind were allowed, no defense witnesses were allowed, there was no discovery, and poor often completely erroneous, sometimes non-existent translation of the trial. The three Americans barely knew what was happening, and neither did their lawyers.”

The first trial was held from August to September of 2004. In July their torture immediately commenced at Saderat extreme interrogation facility. These men were severely injured. Caraballo’s foot was like a football, he had been the victim of Falaqua. Idema had both shoulders torn out–(torn rotator cuffs), a broken sternum, detached retinas in both eyes, 5 broken ribs, etc. So–they needed enough time to go by in order for the injuries they’d sustained to heal. Of course, the Taliban didn’t wanted their injuries to be apparent to either the Red Cross or the media that was present. I don’t know why, the American Consul Sandra Ingram had made sure that the medical reports were rewritten to soften the reports.

The verdict from the taliban judges in the first trial was ‘guilty’ in September. 10 years for Idema and Bennett, 8 years for Ed Caraballo. In spite of the second trial exonerating them in the second trial, they are still being held at Pulacharke prison at the behest of the American government, and they are considered “political prisoners”.

They have repeatedly been declared innocent of all charges since December of 2004.

On February 11, 2005, M. Cherif BASSIOUNI, the Independent Expert of the Commission on Human Rights On the Situation of Human Rights in Afghanistan, issued an initial United Nations report on the Afghan court and justice system.

Drafted for the UN’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the report was called a scathing indictment by the Afghan news services. However, it is not new news, or unexpected news. Everyone knows the Afghan justice system is simply broken. Run by judges with no formal education in law, and administered by people without a high school education, former Taliban officials and al-Qaida linked terrorists, have made their way back into Karzai’s government in a variety of areas, most importantly the legal arena. As a result, terrorists are going free every day to kill again. In the past 12 months more than 900 al-Qaida and Taliban fighters captured in 2001 and 2002 who’s defeat was paid for with the blood of American Special Forces and Special Operations troops, have been released by former Taliban Karzai officials. This is old news.

What is new, is the United Nation’s blistering attack on one specific judge, Abdul Baset Bakhtyari. In fact, the report was so damning that Bakhtyari, who relishes publicity, called a Press Conference in Kabul to denounce the United Nations’ report. The “former” Taliban Judge has been specifically accused of ignoring the law, taking bribes from terrorists, and running the National Security Court as though it was still the era of the Taliban.

The UN Report also slammed the NDS (National Security Court) for directly engaging in and authorizing torture, refusing to allow access to prisoners by the UN, and running a house of horrors. Interestingly enough, NDS is run by an American citizen, who holds secret dual citizenship, and is funded by the American FBI, NOT the CIA. Through this secret court and the secret SADERAT interrogation facility, the FBI is able to “render” subjects. Rendering is the removal of a suspect from US custody to foreign custody where they can be tortured by proxies of an American agency. While the CIA and Special Forces recently have been accused of this, the evidence shows that “rendering” has only been done to high-level foreign al-Qaida threats deemed to be an immediate and serious threat to US security interests and with immediate potential to inflict casualties on US citizens through imminent acts of terror. On the other hand, the FBI has engaged in rendering, through the Afghan NDS, and with the assistance of US Citizen Hamid Karzai (he did not give up his US Citizenship when he assumed the elected presidency, and secretly remains a US citizen with a special waiver from the US State Department).

So what can we do? Well, anyone reading this with their own blog, and who believes the WoT still needs fighting, can sign up for the weekly Free Jack Idema Blogburst by emailing Cao or Rottweiler Puppy for details. I’d urge everyone to do this, as we’re still terribly short on takers. If you want to know more about the story, Cao’s Blog has a large section devoted to Jack Idema. There’s also a timeline here, and, of course, a huge amount of information is available over at SuperPatriots, without whose work none of us would have learned about Jack’s story.
