What with all the fun over the MP expenses this year, would you say he deserves a pay rise? As thousands lose their jobs does he deserve to see his wage soar by a whole 8%. Oh, I forgot this is the public sector, where according to sages like Polly Toynbee they are just so better trained than private sector staff.

Director of Resources Andrew Walker's salary rose from a band of £115,000 - £120,000 to £125,000 - £130,000.
