A tribe in Saudi Arabia is holding a camel beauty pageant.
This week, the Qahtani tribe of western Saudi Arabia has been welcoming entrants to its Mazayen al-Ibl competition, a parade of the "most beautiful camels" in the desolate desert region of Guwei'iyya, 120 km (75 miles) west of Riyadh
The word "stereotype" leaps forth here.

It'll be lashes in chop-chop square for these fellows, i wonder if the camels will have to be stoned, or are they too more valuable than women.
The camels have it easy, no burkas for them and they are not beaten as much as the womenfolk.
A camel can also go around unattended and also in the company of another man - not a relative.
That said they still refer to them as ships of the desert as they are full of Arab semen...
