Terror Hotline? And Afgan drugs and no balls in the Church of England.

At last! Some action against extremism in the Muslim community!

MCB Launches Incident Monitoring Service (IMS): Call 0800 376 3939

After the recent events the Muslim Community in Britain, has become extremely vulnerable.

Oh. Hang on a minute. The free 24/7 hotline isn't about preventing terrorism at all! It's about protecting Muslims from Islamophobes, silly!

Those damned Islamphobes! Killing scores of people indescriminately in the name of Islamophobia! Here's a readical idea, how about locking them up and throwing away the key. Or maybe deporting the clerics of death, although our Govt lacks the guts to do that!

Insurgents and foreign terrorists in Iraq are being financed in part by the illicit drug trade originating in Afghanistan and passing through Iraq to Europe, congressional and defense sources say.

Money from Afghan-produced heroin is being used by terror cells to buy weapons and equipment, and pay Iraqi citizens to conduct attacks on U.S. troops and to plant deadly improvised explosive devices (IEDs), U.S. officials say.

In a Sept. 8 letter to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, House International Relations Committee Chairman Henry J. Hyde wrote of an "emerging and dangerous growth of the illicit drug trade in Iraq, especially with heroin, now originating and pouring out of nearby Afghanistan."

"We can no longer ignore the threat to our national security from drugs in Iraq," the Illinois Republican said in the letter, obtained by The Washington Times.

NO BALLS IN THE CHURCH. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/09/19/nbish19.xml&sSheet=/news/2005/09/19/ixhome.html/

Right get this, seems that our Church of England wants to get down and appologise for our Govt fighting a war in Iraq, just because some poor muslims got killed. Compare that to the bile coming from the Islamonazi preachers of death that insult our culture, take our benefits and want all us infidels to be dead. Seems to me if we had a few more clergy who backed our country and said that the muslims should be the ones to grovel for 9/11, 7/7, Bali and all the other terror attacks/beheadings etc etc they might get some more bums on the pews on a Sunday morning.

And cue the gutless mewing from the Church:

The Church of England should arrange a meeting with Muslim leaders to say sorry for the Iraq war, a group of senior bishops suggests today.

In the absence of a Government apology, a "truth and reconciliation commission" involving religious leaders could be formed to apologise for the West's "errors", the bishops say in a new report.

The report, "Countering Terrorism: Power, Violence and Democracy Post 9/11", was written by a working group of the Church of England's House of Bishops, chaired by the Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Rev Richard Harries.

The bishops say that to pull out of Iraq without a stable democracy being in place would compound the misery for the Iraqi people, but to stay would suggest collusion with a "gravely mistaken" war.

If such collusion is a necessary evil, there needs to be a degree of public recognition of the West's responsibility for the present situation, the report argues. It highlights a "long litany of errors" in the West's handling of Iraq, including its support of Saddam Hussein over many years, its willingness to sell him weapons and the suffering caused to Iraqis by sanctions. It adds that the invasion appears to be "as much for reasons of American national interest as it was for the well-being of the Iraqi people".

As the Government was unlikely to offer an apology, a meeting of religious leaders would provide a "public act of institutional repentance".

** Yeah whatever, like its all the fault of the west. After all the middle east has such liberal and tolerant leaders who allow free speech and would never dream of torturing someone to death on a whim. Like the poor Mr S. Hussain who's on trial in Iraq at the moment.

Hurrah, now for some nice news.
