Fowzi Badavi Nejad, who was 22 at the time of the siege, was captured after SAS troopers stormed the building 28 years ago.
He has reportedly been assured he will not be deported back to his native Iran because of human rights laws, and will instead stay in Britain at taxpayers' expense.
**So a council house, rent paid and expenses paid, benefits for life. Not bad for not paying in a penny into the pot like the rest of us.
