New Labour cover up:Council Tax bills wrong.

Tens of thousands of householders could have been paying too much council tax for years in a "scandal" that ministers attempted to cover up, The Telegraph can disclose.

Ministers and officials have known since at least 2005 that many homes were placed in the wrong tax bands, with householders paying more than they should. It is claimed that the miscalculations could have affected up to 400,000 homes - and it is still not known how far back the over-payments go.

Although the errors were relatively simple and could have been corrected painlessly, ministers chose to keep the matter secret.

Whitehall documents show that the Government concealed the mistakes, concerned that local authorities would have to make huge rebate payments and fearful of the "adverse press coverage" the controversy would generate...

Council tax bills have remained a source of controversy, with the typical household paying £1,078 in 2007 compared with £564 in 1997, a rise of 51 per cent against a 31 per cent increase in inflation...

he Tories say that they show officials wanted to put pressure on Caroline Spelman, then the shadow local government secretary, to end her campaign against revaluation. Mr Pickles said: "Thanks to a colossal blunder, the cat is out of the bag that a revaluation is taking place by stealth. These secret minutes show that ministers tried to hide their plans to hike taxes on family homes.

"It is scandalous and shocking that the Government has found out that many homes could be wrongly banded, but have refused to correct these errors to avoid paying refunds and incurring bad press coverage.

"A revaluation isn’t needed to correct simple mistakes. Labour is only interested in changing council tax when it raises extra money for Gordon Brown’s coffers." A Treasury spokesman said that passages were blanked out because they referred to "ongoing policy issues".

**They really can't help it after 11 years in power lying comes so naturally to them. Rather than sort the problem at the time, hell even putting their hands up and letting people know that it would have taken time to resolve and they were looking into it could have avoided this.

Still as they see it, it is their money, we are just their to pay money into the system and to be lied to at every chance.

So where did their lies get them? The very same adverse press coverage that they wanted to avoid in the first place.

As I said before most ministers/govt officials in government should be issued with clown suits upon taking office.

Another day another New Labour cock up!

New Labour sleaze: Harriet Harman.

Here we go again, another New Labour sleaze story in the making....

HARRIET HARMAN, deputy leader of the Labour party, failed to declare thousands of pounds of donations to her deputy leadership campaign within the Electoral Commission deadline.

The gifts, believed to have been discovered after her campaign finished in June 2007, are being checked by the watchdog to see if they are permitted under electoral law.

The revelation follows the disclosure that Peter Hain failed to declare £100,000 of donations to his campaign. He resigned from the cabinet after the police were called in to investigate.

Sources say that Harman’s undisclosed gifts are “nowhere near the scale” of Hain’s and maintain that she is unlikely to face any action, beyond a reprimand for late reporting. She has so far declared £46,700.

Harman’s money was found after she had instructed staff to “painstakingly” check all the records, phone calls and incoming post. She is one of a number of MPs, including Alan Johnson, the health secretary, whose late donations are being checked.

A spokesman for Harman said: “Harriet has made all the required declarations in connection with the deputy leadership campaign to the Electoral Commission.”

She has already promised to return a £5,000 donation from David Abrahams, the property millionaire, which was given to her in the name of Janet Kidd. The police have been called in to investigate Abrahams’s use of proxy donors to fund the Labour party. Harman says she did not know the cash came from him.

**Thats her excuse and she is sticking to it, just like the money stuck to her fingers....

The Electoral Commission is also investigating whether she failed to declare a £22,000 extension on an overdraft she took out to help her fund her campaign. Her team said they did not know they needed to declare it.

**Did no one think to check? Although again its the same old story of one rule for Labour MP's and one for the rest of us, alas ignorance is sadly is no defense but that becomes a different matter when one becomes an MP on the Labour benches...

New Labour, New Sleaze more like.

Lie Detectors - New Labour 's latest weapon.

Keith is an unlikely candidate for Big Brother. He has close-cropped hair, a reassuring voice and occasional problems getting his headset to work.

But Keith, and his computer, are listening very carefully. They are at the forefront of the Government’s drive to employ lie detectors in the long-fought war against benefit fraud.

Keith’s battleground is a council call centre in Harrow Civic Centre, North London, which is using a pilot project using lie detector technology – those involved would rather call it “voice-risk analysis” – to assess claimants for housing and council-tax benefits.

Earlier this week the council reported that the trial had saved £336,711 in its first seven months. If the success continues, it may soon prompt the Department for Work and Pensions to introduce voice-risk analysis technology across the country....

**Just imagine the huge savings to be made for the taxpayer if they used that technology on the 600+ amoral shysters in the House of Commons, who lie about expenses/claims/wives on the payroll etc.

But of course the poor are always the easy target for New Labour.

That said it could get billions back if they used on the crooks in the EU!

New Labour snooping.

Not content with prying into each aspect of our lives here in the UK, New Labour have decided that its all jolly good to pry into our lives abroad. So from the "you could not make it up files"...

The British tax authorities have paid an informant for the bank details of scores of wealthy Britons. The records were stolen from one of the world’s most secretive tax havens.

HM Revenue & Customs paid £100,000 for data that it is using to launch investigations of up to 100 British citizens who have accounts at Liechtenstein’s biggest bank.

**Right so they pay some snoop taxpayers money to get details of what our citizens may have squirreled away in a Liechtenstein bank for a rainy day.

British authorities regard it as a coup to have penetrated accounts that have been beyond their reach for decades. “There will be many frightened people who thought Liechtenstein was secure,” said a City accountant.

Anyone found to have evaded tax faces fines of up to 100% of the money owed to the Revenue and, where deliberate deception is proved, a jail sentence of up to seven years.

The bank informant has already provoked a storm in Germany by selling data on 750 wealthy Germans’ accounts to the country’s intelligence service for £3.2m in January last year.

Homes and offices of dozens of suspected tax evaders in Germany have since been raided.

The suspected whistleblower, accused of stealing data from the bank, was sacked and convicted of fraud. He also offered data to tax authorities in America, Canada, Australia and France.

**So we have HM Customs paying money to someone sacked for fraud, yet not a one of the people employed by HM Customs sees the slightest moral problem with that? After all someone might be doing something that they don't know about, so far better to let them know the state is in charge.

That said after losing the data of 25million+ people any thing they do must look like a positive improvement.

The New Labour big brother state just keeps on growing.

Harmondsworth barbarians in court.

I covered the case of the rioting savages who trashed the Harmondsworth detention centre before: here and here.

Well the judge in the case Mr Christopher Elwen, stated "that Britain had lost control of its borders "for the first time since 1066".

Christopher Elwen gave the dramatic assessment after four foreign nationals were cleared of masterminding the "rampage" at Harmondsworth removal centre.

Two of the men were jailed for the millions of pounds worth of damage caused during the huge disturbance, which left large parts of the 555-bed West London centre wrecked.

Southwark Crown Court in London heard that the mayhem - sparked by complaints about human rights and detainees not having Sky TV - engulfed all four wings.

**Would that the poor darlings had to pay for Sky/cable like the rest of us.

During the riot the poor oppressed illegals:
  • Armed themselves with makeshift weapons
  • Damaged walls
  • Destroyed security cameras
  • Smashed windows
  • Shattered furniture
  • Started fires
  • Several of those on duty were forced to retreat as an enraged 50-strong mob battered down an internal security door.
  • A woman officer had a towel rail hurled at her head "like a spear", which missed by an inch.
Judge Elwen, bemoaning the existence of such centres, said: "In the last few years this country, perhaps for the first time since 1066, lost control of its borders and one of the unfortunate consequences of this has been the existence of detention centres such was Harmondsworth."

Shortly after the riot, the usual suspects came out to blame everyone except the rioters of course:

Anne Owers, the Chief Inspector of Prisons. She appeared on tv before the riot to condemn the prison and the company running it.

Peter Tatchell stated that it was our version of Guantanamo Bay.

And Joanne Bean stated that conditions were not brilliant, she is the girlfriend of illegal savage Diyako Rasul and he had been awaiting deportation for seven months.

Anyway back to the barbarians in the dock:

In the dock were Ahmed Mohammed Ali, a 20-year-old failed Palestinian asylum seeker; Russian Andrey Pylaev, 22, another failed asylum seeker; Egyptian Sherif El-Gazzaz, 21, ordered out of the country following a three-anda-half year jail sentence for a separate violent disorder incident; and Russian national Alexsey Goryachiev, 26.

They were all cleared of conspiracy to commit violent disorder between October 31 and November 30, 2006.

Pylaev was found not guilty of two counts of damaging property, while Goryachiev was cleared of one.

But Goryachiev was jailed for two months after admitting a separate charge of criminally damaging a CCTV camera, while El-Gazzaz, who pleaded guilty to damaging another camera and a wall panel, received a similar sentence.

Do as I say not as I do. New Labour use luxury gas guzzler cars, whilst telling us to cut back!

Ministers are using a secret limousine service to ferry them around the country, a Mail on Sunday investigation has discovered.

Senior Labour figures are quietly using £60,000 gas-guzzlers to whisk them around in comfort – despite claims that politicians have switched to smaller, cheaper models that are less damaging to the environment.

Among the prominent politicians using the secret luxury car service is the Speaker Michael Martin and his wife Mary, who travel regularly in top-ofthe- range Mercedes and Jaguars.

**As George Orwell said some animals are more equal than others. After all they have very important jobs to do creating socialist equality and like their role models in the former Soviet Union it is fine for them to travel about in luxury Zill motors whilst the rest had to stick with the unreliable East German Trabant.

Last year the Government announced it had spent £900,000 buying 110 hybrid-engined cars for the Government Car and Despatch Agency to cut down on carbon-dioxide emissions, to show voters that it was doing its bit to save the planet.

However, it is an open secret that many Ministers do not like the Toyota Prius – of which 98 were bought.

It has been nicknamed "the milk float" by Government drivers who say the car is slow and has a "tinny rattle".

**The poor darlings, my heart bleeds it really does. That tinny rattle must really put off ministers whilst being transported around. Hell maybe they fail to rise to the occasion when their PA blows them on the back seat, after all we can't have our fine socialist masters being disturbed by a tinny rattle.

A "thank you" letter from former Armed Forces Minister Adam Ingram, who used the company for ten years, hangs on the wall of the firm's Glasgow base.

It reads: "Now that I have stepped down from Government, I want to thank you for ten years of exemplary service."

Another framed testimonial is from the Head of Protocol at the Ministry of Defence.

When Michael Martin arrives back in London, he likes to use a Mercedes laid on by Kelly Executive, which is sub-contracted by Little's.

**Remember its all for the greater good, we have to sacrifice our gas guzzlers to "save the planet" whilst ministers have to use them to avoid a tinny rattle.

Mr Kelly said: "The Government agencies ring us up through their switchboard and book the cars. That is the only way they can be booked.

"Anything that the Government Car Service can't do, they sub-contract the work out to us. It is Ministers and Whips who use the cars mainly.

"The Cabinet will use their own vehicles, although we have done work with Downing Street – for example, if they want to go to the airport."

**Whilst they complain that society is divided our MP's on the Labour side of the House so a desire for the finer things in life. So for a more Soviet approach to the future of the UK, vote for New Labour next election comrades.

BBC - State run communist propagada.

You got to love the BBC - Always standing up to do the work of the terrorists here in the UK.

British troops executed as many as 20 Iraqi prisoners after a gun battle in May 2004, lawyers claim.

Some alleged survivors of the gun battle near the southern Iraqi town of Majar al-Kabir also claim corpses were mutilated by UK military personnel.

Solicitor Phil Shiner said: "We would be very surprised if [the evidence] did not shock the nation."

All claims of any kind of abuse by British troops have been strongly denied by the Ministry of Defence.

**But after this was investigated(twice) no evidence was shown that UK troops carried out execution style killings of civilians.

The BBC state - the BBC "...has seen no proof that prisoners died at the hands of their captors ..."

Even though the BBC has debunked this story they want so much for it to be true, to cast doubt on the troops, their fine work and to cast slurs in all directions. Such is the depths of hatred held by the left wing Guardian reading elite who staff the BBC, an organisation funded by the taxpayer that spreads poison about this nation and all it stands for.

More on this program here

Army commanders have rubbished the allegations, which have already been investigated by the Royal Military Police and by independent monitors from the International Red Cross.

One would think that our state run broadcaster should report the debunking of false claims, rather than being the propaganda wing of Al-Quada.

Who needs a radical spokesbeard living in a cave to make videos in Arabic when the BBC's Panorama program will broadcast lies for them?

Lets sell off the BBC. Make the loony lefties who run it have to get a real job, although once removed from El-Beeb's ivory towers and a state funded lifestyle, 9 out 10 of them would end homeless and selling the Big Issue.

Still what do you expect from the elite anti-semitic Jew haters of the BBC who ignore Palestinian savagery and spin it against Israel, then hurry off to court to suppress the Balen Report on BBC bias with regards their coverage of the middle east.

A report that they spent tax payers money on, the BBC has no money of its own. Then after reading the report and as it did not fit the BBC view, they decided to bury it. Even going as far as to waste yet more tax payers money fighting a court case to cover up their bias.

"Die Breite masse eines volkes fallt einer grosse luge leichter zum opfer als einer kleinen", wrote Adolf Hitler, which roughly means, "the broad mass of the people will fall victim more easily to a big lie than a small one ".

That I feel should be the motto of the BBC.

A little tune on the license tax.http://homepage.ntlworld.com/seb.hunt/

Communism - Alive and well on New Labour back benches.

Well we have the nationised Northern Rock - a bank that has its debts on the nations books, a bank so inept it went to the wall - the fiscal version of British Layland.

But the most telling thing is the crowing of the old style communists of New Labour - I hand over to the words of proven libel case loser and my local MP Paul Flynn:

An eruption of pent-up socialism is shaking parliament. Last night the ‘Red Flag’ was sung in the Strangers’ bar. At dinner time today, 136 Labour MPs, including Peter Hain voted against the party’s whip.

**That would be the same Peter who has resigned whislt being investigated for his "expenses" who was refered to as incompetent by his boss the unelected Gordon Brown PM.

It’s thrilling and invigorating. Labour MPs are the happiest they have been for a decade. This week, we nationalised a bank and struck a blow for low paid exploited workers. These are the core Labour party policies thye like of which we have rarely seen in recent years. We have had two fixes in one week.

**That will be the workers who to all intents are now on the public payroll. Sadly industries in the states hand have a poor record here in the UK, being devoid of market forces and propped up by taxpayers money doled out no matter what.

When I was about ten years old I avidly read the booklets produced by the Left Book Club. They cost about 7 pence each and were devoted to single issues. One of them was ‘Nationalising the Banks’ by, I think, John Strachey. George Orwell said you know when a Labour Government is serious when they nationalise the banks.

**How apt that they quote Orwell who warned us of a super state in 1984, something that I believe New Labour are using as a guide book for government.

I warn people now we are heading to a communist future, the Labour party want it via the back door as to the EU.

Maybe the communists of the Lbour party should realise that running business is not the states place, all that does it remove the "threat" of competition - a dirty word to socialists - and should "bankruptcy" occur all that happens is the tax payer bails out the inept bosses and poor working practises.

Add to that their ideas of municipal socialism and sexual propaganda on the community charge - something that PM Margaret Thatcher commented on in 1987 and you can see that the looney left of yester year have now taken over the country.
Link to Paul Flynn's article on his communist leanings.

Maybe comrade Flynn and his brothers would care to comment on the supine FSA trying to bring pressure on Vince Cable MP?

Fsa attempt to gag MP.

The head of the financial watchdog criticised for not acting sooner to prevent the Northern Rock scandal tried to gag a senior MP who warned the bank was heading for disaster, it was claimed.

Financial Services Authority chairman Sir Callum McCarthy telephoned Lib Dem deputy leader Vince Cable in September and accused him of "scaremongering."

He told Mr Cable Northern Rock was not caught up in the sub-prime mortgage fiasco in the US.

Hours later the bank admitted it had been hit by the cheap mortgage collapse there.

And it is now clear Mr Cable was right to argue the bank had offered too many cheap loans to people who could not repay them.

"Sir Callum said I was scaremongering, that there was no problem with the bank and that it had a good loan book, and any problems were due to international markets beyond its control," said Mr Cable.

He said Sir Callum accused him of adding to the panic by criticising its management.

"I told him it was obvious the bank had acted recklessly offering multiples of income mortgages," added Mr Cable."

.

EU - Corrupt to the core.

First off no accouts for the EU have been signed off in years now the MEP's are covering up their expenses

Senior Euro-MPs and European Union officials have tried to hush up an internal audit that found severe problems and endemic misuse of funds worth at least £98.4 million a year, more than £125,000 for each of the 785 Euro-MPs.

Such is the extent of the abuse found in a sample group of 167 Euro-MPs that "terrified" parliamentary authorities have shrouded the report in secrecy and security.

Only Euro-MPs on the parliament's budget control committee are allowed to see the report.

To do so, they must apply to enter a "secret room", protected by biometric locks and security guards. They may not take notes and must sign a confidentiality agreement.

Last night, after an emergency meeting of senior officials including Mr Rømer and Mr Pöttering, triggered by The Daily Telegraph's investigation, a spokesman for the parliament denied a cover-up.

"The document is not secret. It is confidential," he said. "It can be read by Euro-MPs on the budget control committee, in the secret room but not generally. That is not the same as a secret document nobody can read."

**This is the same group that David Milicunt and Bottler Brown signed us over to, we are now a vassel nation a mere colony of the greater EU.

Iraq - Some more good news.

None of which will be shown by the communist run - and state funded BBC.

IA Soldiers’ quick action prevents suicide attack
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – The alert action of Iraqi Army Soldiers prevented a suicide bomber from reaching her intended target in the Rusafa District at approximately 10 a.m. Feb. 17.

As a result of their quick reaction the only death resulting from the aborted attack was that of the female suicide bomber. Two Iraqi citizens were injured in the blast.

The attempted attack took place when a woman, who appeared to be a beggar, was noticed having a bulky protrusion around her mid-section, said Iraqi Col. Fahdel, 2nd Battalion, 1st Brigade, 11th Iraqi Army Division.

Alert Iraqi Army soldiers quickly realized her intent and ordered her to raise her hands, said Fahdel. At that time, she raised one of her hands but had an object with wires attached concealed in her other hand.

Sensing the potential danger, the Soldiers fired three rounds. The woman staggered back to a nearby shop, where the blast detonated.

It is unknown whether she detonated the blast herself or if it was detonated by another source.

The Soldiers’ quick action prevented the potential loss of a large number of civilian lives.

Sons of Iraq detain, turn over suspected criminal
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Members of the Abna’a al-Iraq, or Sons of Iraq, handed over a suspected Special Groups criminal to Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers in West Rashid Feb. 15.

The SOI, turned the suspect over to soldiers of Company C, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Inf. Div., attached to Task Force 4-64 at a combat outpost in Risalah.

The suspect was taken to a Coalition Forces detention facility for further questioning.

“We applaud the citizens of Iraq who are taking a firm stand against those who choose not to honor al-Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr’s ceasefire pledge,” said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, MND-B spokesman. “The Sons of Iraq are an able and important ally in this effort.”

Paratroopers capture Hasnawi lieutenant
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Soldiers with Multi-National Division – Baghdad captured a top lieutenant of Arkan Hasnawi, a Special Groups leader, during an operation in northern Baghdad Feb. 17.

Paratroopers with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, MND-B, detained the individual at approximately 1 p.m. after receiving a tip on his whereabouts.

The suspect is allegedly a key ringleader in Hasnawi’s criminal network, said Maj. Cameron Weathers, the intelligence officer for the 2nd BCT.

He is accused of explosively formed projectile and multiple mortar attacks against Iraqi and U.S. Security Forces, as well as the kidnapping and murder of Iraqi civilians.

A day earlier, elements of the Iraqi National Police and the 2nd BCT, 82nd Abn. Div., seized a large cache with multiple rocket and mortars associated with Specials Groups.

“Northern Baghdad is an area that Special Groups criminals have wanted to dominate for some time, and it is pretty clear that this is the foreign influenced Special Groups,” said Lt. Col. David Oclander, brigade executive officer. “These captures will have a disrupting affect on their operations.

“It is very important to note that these successes have originated as a result of Iraqi civilian tips,” Oclander said. “The vast majority of the locals want to take ownership of their future by eliminating those who refuse to comply with the ongoing cease fire.”

Sons of Iraq members kill two terrorists
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Members of Abna’a al-Iraq, or Sons of Iraq, killed two al-Qaeda in Iraq members who were transporting homemade explosives and improvised explosive devices in Adhamiyah Feb. 17.

A minivan approached a checkpoint manned by SOI members at a high rate of speed at approximately 8 p.m. The SOI members took appropriate measures, and when the vehicle did not stop, SOI members fired at the vehicle.

The driver jumped out of the vehicle and ran while under fire. The vehicle then blew up, killing two others inside.

A Coalition Forces explosive ordnance disposal team arrived on the scene, and determined the vehicle was being used to transport the explosives.

“The quick reaction of the Sons of Iraq members prevented the terrorists from delivering weapons AQI uses to kill Iraqis,” said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, Multi-National Division-Baghdad and 4th Inf. Div. spokesman. “These terrorists were up to no good, at night, when most Iraqis are at home with their families.”

UPDATE: Coalition forces positively identify terrorist killed in operation Sunday

BAGHDAD – A terrorist killed during an operation Sunday has been positively identified as Abu Karrar.

Karrar, also known as Arkan Khalaf Khudayyir, was a senior intelligence leader involved in the al-Qaeda in Iraq network in Baqouba. He was also a terrorist facilitator for the suicide bombing network in the Diyala River Valley region, which conducts attacks in Baghdad, to include attacks by female suicide bombers. Reports indicate the network has been disrupted by recent successful Coalition operations in the area.

Karrar was killed when Coalition forces conducted an operation near Khan Bani Sad Sunday afternoon. As Coalition forces arrived in the target area, they observed Karrar and another suspect fleeing their vehicle. Karrar brandished a weapon with the perceived intent to fire on Coalition forces. The assault force engaged, killing both men. Coalition forces discovered an AK-47 and ammunition in the vehicle, and they destroyed the vehicle to prevent further use for terrorist activity.

"Iraqi and Coalition forces will relentlessly pursue terrorist leaders, like Abu Karrar, who plan al-Qaeda's indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians," said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesman.

The arrests were made by paratroopers with 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, based in northeast Baghdad’s neighborhood of Sha’ab.

Paratroopers were conducting a cordon and knock operation with the Iraqi National Police in Sha’ab when they discovered a suspected criminal. The individual is suspected of conducting improvised-explosive device attacks against Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces as well as intimidating local members of the Sons of Iraq security force.

While conducting a search of the suspect’s house and an adjacent property, the paratroopers discovered a 60mm mortar round. The individual and four other men were detained for questioning.

During a follow-on mission shortly before midnight, paratroopers received an additional report on the whereabouts of another suspected criminal. The individual is suspected of running a weapons-smuggling operation for a criminal militia network. Paratroopers detained the suspect and another man who tested positive for having handled explosives.

Coalition forces target al-Qaeda networks; one terrorist killed, 20 suspects detained

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition forces killed one terrorist and detained 20 suspected terrorists Wednesday and today during operations to disrupt al-Qaeda operating in central and northern Iraq.

West of Taji this morning, Coalition forces conducted an operation targeting an individual believed to be an associate of the Baghdad improvised explosive device and car bombing networks. Intelligence indicates he is a terrorist facilitator of materials, vehicles and suicide bombers for multiple terrorist cells throughout the city. The targeted individual is also allegedly an associate of a military leader in Abu Ghraib. During the operation, Coalition forces engaged and killed one armed terrorist. The ground force also detained two suspects.

During an operation in Sharqat, Coalition forces captured an alleged associate of the senior leader for the al-Qaeda in Iraq network in Mosul. Reports indicate the suspect is also connected with several other senior leaders in northern Iraq. In addition to the wanted individual, the ground force detained five suspected terrorists.

In two operations in southeast Mosul today, Coalition forces detained six suspected terrorists while targeting the alleged senior leader for the network in Bayji and a suspected improvised explosive device cell leader for a network operating in the city.

During an operation in Bayji, Coalition forces detained three suspected terrorists this morning while targeting the suspected leader of an insurgent network associated with al-Qaeda in Iraq that operates outside of the city.

Also, during an operation Wednesday north of Tal Afar, three suspects were detained while targeting an alleged associate of al-Qaeda in Iraq senior leadership.

"Iraqi and Coalition force operations are systematically dismantling the al-Qaeda networks in northern Iraq," said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesman. "As terrorists try to shift their operations to other locations, we will continue to find and attack their networks. Al-Qaeda will find no safe haven in Iraq."

Paratroopers capture Special Groups criminal leader
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Multi-National Division – Baghdad soldiers detained a Special Groups commander during an operation in Baghdad’s Sha’ab neighborhood Feb. 20.

The detainee is suspected of involvement in multiple murders and other criminal activities.

Paratroopers with 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, detained the suspect at approximately 7 p.m. after a tip on his whereabouts.

The suspect is a known Special Groups leader and financier believed to receive funding from Iran that was earmarked to support the Diyala criminal network, said Maj. Cameron Weathers, the 2nd BCT intelligence officer.

The money is typically used to pay and equip Special Groups criminals, procure vehicles and support criminal activities against innocent Iraqis.

“These criminal elements who insist on ignoring al-Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr’s ceasefire pledge are certainly not working in the best interest of Iraqis,” said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, MND-B spokesman. “We will continue our efforts to bring these criminals to justice.”

Soldiers from 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, attached to Task Force Dragon, noticed a man fitting the description of a suspected cell leader during a routine patrol of Abu T’Shir and detained him without incident.

It is believed the alleged Special Groups cell leader had taken over the day-to-day direction of the criminal cell after its previous leader was arrested by Coalition forces in the same area.

The suspect was taken to a Coalition forces detention facility for further questioning.

“The criminal activities of those who choose to dishonor the ceasefire pledge of al-Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr will not be tolerated,” said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, MND-B spokesman. “We will continue to work with Iraqi security forces to identify these criminals and bring them to justice.”

Statement from Multi-National Force - Iraq commending cease-fire extension

BAGHDAD, Iraq – The Multi-National Force - Iraq joins the Government of Iraq in welcoming al-Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr's has pledged to extend the cease-fire. This extension of his August 2007 pledge of honor to halt attacks is an important commitment that can broadly contribute to further improvements in security for all Iraqi citizens. It will also foster a better opportunity for national reconciliation and allow the Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces to focus more intensively on Al-Qaeda terrorists.

Those who continue to honor al-Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr's pledge will be treated with respect and restraint. Those who dishonor the Sadr pledge are regrettably tarnishing both the name and the honor of the movement. Iraqi and Coalition forces will continue to work closely with the Iraqi people to protect them from these criminals who violate the law and dishonor the commitment made by al-Sayyid Muqtada. We also welcome an opportunity to participate in dialogue with the Sadr Trend and all groups who seek to bring about reconciliation in building the new Iraq.

Coalition forces target al-Qaeda in Iraq networks; six killed, six suspects detained

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition forces killed six terrorists and detained six suspected terrorists Thursday and today during operations to disrupt al-Qaeda operating in central and northern Iraq.

During an operation east of Khan Bani Sad today, Coalition forces targeted an alleged al-Qaeda in Iraq associate involved in the suicide bombing and improvised explosive device network that runs from Baqouba to Baghdad and north to Mosul. Reports indicate the suspect is associated with Abu Karrar, the AQI leader also involved in the suicide bombing network who was killed during a Coalition forces operation Feb. 17 (see MNF-I press release A080220a, "UPDATE: Coalition forces positively identify terrorist killed in operation Sunday," dated Feb. 20, 2008).

As the ground force arrived in the area, they were engaged by enemy fire from what appeared to be an underground bunker. Fixed-wing aircraft was called to engage the threat, killing three terrorists. An additional two enemy personnel outside the building were engaged by a supporting helicopter, and both were killed. As the ground force continued to clear the area, they called for the occupants of one of the target buildings to come out. One individual refused to comply and moved toward two weapons in the building. Perceiving hostile intent, Coalition forces engaged and killed the terrorist. The ground force also detained two suspected terrorists and destroyed a vehicle in the area that contained a weapons cache.

Also today, Coalition forces detained one suspected terrorist during an operation in Baghdad, while targeting associates of an AQI network involved in the facilitation of materials, vehicles and suicide bombers to terrorist groups throughout Baghdad.

During an operation in Mosul Thursday, Coalition forces detained three suspected terrorists while targeting an alleged associate of a senior level foreign terrorist facilitator responsible for attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces in the region.

"Iraqi and Coalition forces continue to disrupt al-Qaeda in Iraq's networks across the country," said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesman. "The indiscriminate violence wreaked by al-Qaeda’s suicide bombers and explosive attacks only strengthens our resolve to find the terrorists and bring them to justice."

Iraqi, Coalition security forces detain 27, discover 4 caches in recent operations in Mosul
Multi-National Division – North

MOSUL, Iraq – Iraqi Army and Coalition Forces detained 27 suspects and discovered four weapons caches in the Ninewa Province in recent joint operations.

During these operations joint forces also rescued a hostage from an underground prison. These operations are part of Multi-National Division – North’s continuing pursuit of criminals in the area.

“Now is the time for everyone, ISF, Coalition Forces and the people of Mosul to stand together in a united front against these monsters in order to end their wave of violence against the innocent,” said Maj. Daniel J. Meyers, spokesman for Task Force Iron.

Nanny State Britain - No smoking outside a pub.

A TOWN is set to become the first in the UK to ban smoking OUTSIDE pubs and cafes.

Landlords and owners will lose their £250-a-year licence for drinking on pavements if anyone lights up.

Under the new regulations, smoking will only be allowed outside in private beer gardens.

The hard-line new rules could be adopted by April in Barnsley, South Yorks. But the move has sparked uproar among licensees whose trade has already fallen under the ban on indoor smoking.

Publican Paul McNicholas, chairman of the town centre Pubwatch scheme, said: “I feel so strongly about this I’d be prepared to go to court.

“Having an outside area has compensated me since the smoking ban. The new guidelines could be the difference between bars surviving and not.”

The proposal, drawn up by the town’s environment department, says: “If on three separate occasions customers are witnessed smoking, the licence will be revoked.”

Environment committee head Roy Miller said consultations were still taking place. He said: “We are awaiting responses.”

**Gone are the days when people were free to do as they please in this nation, now each activity has to be monitored by the state - for our own good of course.

The puritans in government both national and local won't be happy until smoking - a still legal activity - is made illegal and driven underground.

New Labour - Hitting Temp Workers.

Gordon Brown could face his biggest Commons rebellion since becoming prime minister over a bill to give agency workers more rights.

More than one million people are employed via agencies, which means they do not get benefits such as sick pay.

MPs are due to debate a private member's bill which aims to give them the same rights as permanent staff.

Labour backbenchers believe they can get it to the next Commons stage but ministers could still block it later.

Some 130 MPs Labour and Lib Dem MPs have signed a Commons motion backing the private member's bill and many of them are expected vote in favour of it later to ensure it gets a second reading.

Further progress is likely to need government support - but ministers have offered to set up a commission to find a compromise in an effort to head off further backbench dissent.

Labour argues that it would damage the country's flexible labour market and hit jobs, but the legislation will be discussed again this year.

Sadly this will most likely be talked down, temp workers will be left doing the same job as full time staff but without any of the benefits that full time staff get.

More lost data. Criminals free due to New Labour incompetence.

**Here we go again. Yet more inept fuckwittery from the dire socialists of New Labour.

Gordon Brown pledged a full inquiry into yet another data blunder by officials has left wanted killers and rapists free for a year.

The Prime Minister said the Government would examine "all details" of how the CPS ignored a computer disc containing DNA profiles for 2,000 known criminals.

Some of the criminals have committed further offences, and now a major manhunt is under way to stop them claiming still more victims.

Last night critics accused ministers of trying to keep the scandal a secret.

The blunder centres on a computer data disc containing details of 4,000 DNA profiles linked to serious crimes in the Netherlands.

Dutch authorities sent the "most wanted" disc to the office of the Attorney General in January 2007, asking for the profiles to be compared to the UK's national DNA database...

Now checks have found that at least 15 of the 4,000 wanted suspects are in the UK - and at least 11 of them have committed new crimes here, including serious assaults and burglaries.

The total is likely to climb much higher, as 2,000 DNA profiles have yet to be checked...

Shadow Home Secretary David Davis said: "Yet again we have a disastrous loss of data which has implications for British public safety and lets down another police force which is trying to track down serious criminals."

The fiasco will lead to further awkward questions for Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who is still reeling from claims of a "cover-up" over revelations that more than 10,000 illegal immigrants had been cleared to work as security guards.

The disc containing the DNA went missing as it emerged that hundreds of criminals could have been cleared to work with vulnerable people after officials failed to enter their details on the Police National Computer. Information on convictions in 27,500 cases were left sitting in desk files in the Home Office rather than being properly examined.

**No doubt bottler Brown will be getting dire Home Sec Jacqui Smith to answer the House, unless she is off for a kebab of course...

Neil Kinnock - The debt New Labour owes him.

One looks at the duplicity of New Labour with its spin, double standards and lies and the question has to be asked quite how did this come about?

Now old Labour realised that it was not going to get elected, they had a non nuclear stance and even played the Europe card saying that the UK would be best out of the EU under leader Michael Foot - a stance that Kinnock has now changed somewhat in his role for the EU.

Many believe that the era of New Labour spin started with Blair, not so Blair is in many ways the bastard son of Neil Kinnock.

When Kinnock took over the failing party in 1983 he had to make changes, he spoke out against the Trotskyists and other left wingers, not for their thuggery and extreme views but because they were the true party face and that had to be hidden.

A classic example is the defence policy that Labour put forward wanting the UK to be non nuclear and for all US bases to be closed here in the UK. Kinnock - at a time when we faced the old Soviet Union - stated that "there were no circumstances in which he would ask the United States to use nuclear weapons in the defence of Britain."

The Tories made much of that and so from then on Labour spun its views on the nuclear option and now play the defence card.

Of course we also have Kinnocks classic gaf during a tv debate in which he suggested that Labours response to agression would be to take to the hills.

Policing in the UK. Fight over who drives the van with the new radio.

A police officer punched a colleague in the face following a "petty squabble" over who was going to drive a force van, Newport Crown Court has heard.

Pc Byron Emerson-Thomas, 37, wanted first go in the van at the start of a night shift because it was fitted with a new radio, the trial heard.

He denies wounding Pc Aled Bartlett, who needed eight stitches after the incident at a Cardiff police station.

Pc Emerson-Thomas will claim he acted in self-defence, the jury was told.

He has been suspended since the incident last May at Fairwater police station in the city.

The court also heard that Pc Emerson-Thomas, of Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, allegedly rubbed tea-soaked paper towels into the face and arm of Pc Bartlett, also 37, after he was handed the keys to a Panda car rather than the preferred police van.

Pc Emerson-Thomas wanted first go in the van because it was fitted with a new radio, the jury was told.

Prosecutor Mark Spackman said: "The incident began in what can only be described as a petty squabble over who was driving the police van that evening.

"The sergeant told Pc Bartlett to take the van but the defendant was a bit upset about it and he asked Pc Bartlett if he could have it.

"Pc Bartlett simply got up and picked up the keys from the board then sat down at a table to drink a cup of tea.

"He went to pick up the cup of tea and Pc Emerson-Thomas punched his arm causing it to spill over the table and himself."

The trial heard Pc Bartlett picked up a paper towel to clean up the spilled tea.

But Pc Emerson-Thomas was accused of using other towels to wipe the tea down his colleague's arm.

Mr Spackman said: "Emerson-Thomas then shoved the paper towels into Pc Bartlett's face."

The court was told that other officers had told them to stop but Pc Emerson-Thomas then lashed out at Pc Bartlett with his fist and hit his eyebrow.

"It was a hard punch and knocked the contact lens out of his eye," said Mr Spackman.

"There was a cut which may have been caused by the signet ring Emerson-Thomas was wearing."

Pc Emerson-Thomas was sent home from the station and he has been suspended since.

The court heard that the men had worked together for five months but there had never been any animosity. They had also known each other for four years.

Mr Spackman told the jury that a person is entitled to use reasonable force to defend himself or herself if they believed it was necessary to use such force.

"In those circumstances, the law allows you to use force that is reasonable to repel that attack," he said.

"That will be the primary issue for you to determine during the course of this case."

Mr Spackman told the jury to disregard the professions of the defendant and complainant, adding: "This is no less criminal conduct than if it had been between two members of the public in the street."

The trial continues.

**The report describes them as both being 37 years of age. Six or seven would be a more apt age based on this.

Youth Drinking & New Labour

More New Labour fuckwittery.

Thousands of children face having a criminal record if they are caught holding a can of beer, under plans being considered by ministers.

The proposals would mean that any under-18s found by police with alcohol would receive a criminal conviction, which would have to be declared to future employers.

Right so lets see that will lead to one of two things happening: First off the young person declares their conviction for possession of a can of Stella and is turned down for a job, thus adding to the numbers claiming benefits.

Or it is laughed at, thus treating the law with contempt. Many an employer may well think that downing a can is hardly something worthy of criminal courts - a sledgehammer to crack a nut solution.

Maybe the government would be better off thinking up some proper policies instead. Mind if they looked back at an act that they have passed then they would see that there is already a law in place to deal with this situation.

I refer the Home Sec. to the following:

Under the Confiscation of Alcohol (Young Persons) Act 1997, police can confiscate cans of lager or bottles of wine if they reasonably believe that teenagers are drinking, or are about to drink, the alcohol.

Maybe we should all learn to dance?

From the Spectator:

Forget all the commentary on Castro. By far the most insightful comment comes from the singer, Craig David, whom I have just heard being interviewed.

INTERVIEWER: So you did some of your new album in Cuba?

CRAIG DAVID: I had lots of misconceptions about it being a communist country and all that. It's true that they're not as privy as we are with inventions, food and so on. But they make up for it with incredible dancing.

Dissidents might be locked up, Cubans might live in poverty. But who cares? They are very good dancers.

What with the way our political masters in Westminster/The Eu are slowly removing our freedoms and ruining our free market economy maybe we should all learn to dance...

Darren Nixon: Arrested for using MP3 player.

A commuter was arrested at gunpoint and had his DNA and fingerprints taken simply for listening to his MP3 player while waiting for a bus.

Darren Nixon was surrounded by armed police after his music player was mistaken for a gun.

When a passer-by saw the 28-year-old get out his black Philips machine to change tracks, she panicked and dialled 999.

Police tracked Mr Nixon using CCTV. As he got off the bus home from work he was surrounded by a firearms unit, who bundled him into a van.

He was then put in a cell and his fingerprints, DNA and mugshot were taken before he was released.

Although police realised it was a false alarm, Mr Nixon, from Stoke-on-Trent, now has to live with his DNA stored on a national database.

The force will also keep on record that he was arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence.

Mr Nixon said: 'It was unreal – I had a completely clean record before this and have always been a law-abiding citizen.' The mechanic said that, as he got off the bus, he saw a policeman gesture but could not hear what he said.

Mr Nixon added: 'As I got closer, I could see that two of the cops had guns. My heart was racing a mile a minute. One of them was hiding behind a car door, looking down his sight at me, and the other was shouting orders and pointing a gun at me.

'I turned the music off and they were telling me to put my hands up in the air.'

DNA records are kept for life so that they can be matched to future samples.

Even suspects who are wrongfully arrested normally stay on the database. Staffordshire Police said a member of the public reported seeing a man pull a gun from his pocket, grip it with both hands and aim.

A spokesman added: 'An operation was put in place and a man matching the description was detained.'

**So there you now have a perfect example of New Labour's 21st Century policing. Even when a mistake is made, no error is to be admitted by the state, in fact his dna is taken to kept on file along with that of pedophiles, corrupt New Labour councillors and other criminal scum.

He even will have it noted that "he was arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence." - possession of bad music on an MP3 player maybe?

Trees - Cut down on health & safety grounds...

Over-zealous council chiefs are ripping out the ancient trees that line Britain's streets and parks because of misguided fears about health and safety.

A damning government report yesterday warned that trees were being chopped down in urban areas more quickly than they were being planted.

The "chainsaw massacre" is being fuelled by the UK's compensation culture and fears that falling branches could lead to expensive insurance claims.

Eric Pickles, the Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, warned that the leafy character of urban areas was under threat.

**That happened a few years back in the centre of Newport, a large number of trees went down and made our town centre a more boring place as a result.

"Whitehall's failure to tackle the compensation culture and the heavy-handed application of health and safety regulation is doing more harm than good," he said.

"Trees have a vital role to play in tackling climate change and improving quality of life, yet Britain's leafy suburbs face a chainsaw massacre under Labour."

Repeated studies have highlighted the importance of trees and green spaces in towns and cities. Not only do they help combat pollution from cars and lorries, a leafy environment can reduce stress and blood pressure levels of residents.

The new report - published by the Department of Communities and Local Government - is the biggest ever survey of urban trees in England. It covered streets, parks, schools, churchyards, allotments and private gardens in 147 towns and cities.

**Indeed, welcome to New Labours socialist paradise where even trees must be removed in order to made a better Cool Britannia...

Lying cunt Paul Flynn MP) Lab: Spat with Guido over Peter Hain.

Proven liar & libel case loser Paul Flynn, who has backed Peter Hain had a pop at Guido: here

What is the odds that he also has a go at Private Eye who pointed out that he was saying that Hain was the best thig since sliced bread and slightly over a week later Hain was removed/jumped/pushed from his post in the cabinet over the alligations about him...

Still far easier and far more New Labour to cast stones at any who disagree with them than to clean up their act.

Will Paul Flynn confirm that he has not recieved any money from Peter Hain?....

Still Mr Flynn is nothing more than a New Labour rent-boy who is desperate to spread his cheeks for the party to avoid deselection come the next election. Should he cause any trouble and stop waving the flag for the contemptable little shit Hain he faces being replaced by someone off an all women shortlist aka Jessica Morden our other Newport MP- who is Mr Hain's PPS by the way....

Michael Martin(Lab): Another thieving spiv cuntbubble.

In any other job they would be sacked, charged with fraud and made a social pariah. Yet here in the UK, they keep their well paid job as an MP and we think that its all ok that they get away with it...

Michael Martin, the House of Commons Speaker, faced a fresh storm over his expenses last night after it emerged that he used air miles earned on official business to fly relatives from Glasgow to London over new year.

His adult children Mary Ann and Paul, with their families, saved around £360 a head by using the perks accrued when Mr Martin was travelling for work. The trip fell in a period when Martin's use of taxpayers' money was already under attack, amid reports that his wife had clocked up a bill of £4,000 taking taxis to do the shopping for official functions.

Ministers are banned from using air miles accrued on official trips, and are expected to put them towards reducing the cost of future ministerial travel or donate them to charity.

The revelations in today's Sunday Mirror will cast fresh doubt on whether Martin is the right person to chair the current parliamentary inquiry into MPs' expenses, which was set up to restore public confidence following the row over MP Derek Conway hiring his son Henry as a researcher.

**Vote New Labour, vote sleaze, vote corruption, vote spiv...

John Austin MP(Lab): Spiv and total amoral thieving cuntbubble.

Check this out for the typical thieving, lying, expense claiming cunts that rule us all.
Two Labour MPs with neighbouring constituencies in west London, Alan and Ann Keen, a junior health minister, have claimed more than £175,000 in allowances since 2002 even though their family home in her constituency is less than 10 miles from parliament.
But it gets better, by better I mean a better example of a New Labour shit turd MP fucking us all up all up the collective tax paying arse without even the benefit of a reach around or lubrication:
A third MP, John Austin, who claimed £22,110, bought a London flat which is approximately the same travelling time from Westminster as his constituency home.
Were these MP's about during the time of rationing they would be selling ladys nylons out of a suitcase of a street corner, woodbine in the corner of the mouth and keeping an eye out for Dixon of the yard.

Graham Calvert - its not my fault.

A gambling charity is calling for a UK-wide database which would give better protection to problem gamblers.

It comes as Graham Calvert, 28, from Wearside, is suing William Hill for £2m he claims he lost on bets after asking the bookmaker not to let him bet again.

Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RIGT) said details of gamblers who asked to be "self-excluded" from one betting chain should be available to all firms.

William Hill denies it can be legally liable for Mr Calvert's losses.

Addiction counselling service GamCare, which is funded by the gambling industry, said it ultimately has to be down to the gamblers to recognise their addiction and get help, although voluntary agreements could be helpful.

**Mr Calvert lost a packet and so is now not happy at losing his money.

His lawyers say William Hill should be held responsible for the loss because it did not implement its own self-exclusion policies.

**Ok where to start, well first off:
Take responsibilities for your own actions.

Next that word self in the phrase "
self-exclusion policies." it says that you as a gambler should recognise that there is a problem. In short you should not be gambling.

Laugh this one right out of court, its right up there with fat lardy bloke sues McDonald's for supplying fat filled food.

Rot in hell:

Feral chav vermin and the excuses of the parents.

The mum of a 15-year-old girl locked up for drunkenly filming a "happy-slapping" killing last night said her daughter was ensnared by Britain's terrifying culture of teenage boozing.

Well no, she made her choice and now has to pay the price.

The divorced 33-year-old, speaking after the girl admitted aiding and abetting the manslaughter of Gavin Waterhouse by two teenagers, said: "The whole country must fight this violent and horrific problem.

Would that she had kept a better eye on her offspring.

"Every town has youths drinking themselves senseless. My daughter wanted to fit in, so she joined in. If she'd not been drinking we wouldn't be in this tragic situation."

And had you been a better parent she would not have been drinking...

The girl, described as "hyper" after knocking back alcohol, used a mobile phone to film Mark Masters, 19, and a 17-year-old youth kicking and punching stonemason Mr Waterhouse in a street in Keighley, West Yorks. He died later of a ruptured spleen.

She chose to enjoy watching Mr Waterhouse being as the press term it "happy slapped."

The girl, convicted at Leeds crown court yesterday, is the first person succesfully prosecuted for aiding manslaughter over the filming of an attack.

And quite rightly so...

She was last night in custody at a secure children's home. Her student mum, who has a second child, said she had begged social services in vain for help with her tearaway teenager.

She said: "I suspected my daughter was in with the wrong crowd but you can't keep a teenager locked up.

Well actually you can and she has been. Hopefully for a very long time.

She approached Mr Waterhouse and asked him for money before recording the attack.

Afterwards, the attackers showed friends the video footage - even though they were aware their victim had died.

But the best part of the piss poor mother and her bleating on the part of her feral daughter has to be this:

"You can scream and shout for help but little notice is taken until something terrible happens.

"Now the whole country is watching and pointing the finger - but what use is that? A man is dead and my daughter is in custody. Surely prevention is better than knee-jerk reactions?

And had she been a better parent maybe Mr Waterhouse would be alive and she might have stopped her so called friends from killing him. Another symptom of libralism and socialist parenting in action in Blair/Brown's new Cool Britannia.

Banning legal products: Smoking permits. Julian Le Grand gets it wrong...

Well its a sign of a government that has passed its sell by date that this is the best it can come up with.

We all know that smoking is bad, has been banned from every place and yet now they plan a new way to get people to give up. Never mind that they tax it to the hilt, even their own figures show that the levels of tax encourage people to smuggle/buy tobacco from smugglers.

Among his suggestions are a proposal for a smoking permit, which smokers would have to produce when buying cigarettes
The idea, dubbed "libertarian paternalism", reverses the traditional government approach that requires individuals to opt in to healthy schemes.
What the fucking hell is libertarian about forcing people to buy licenses to buy and consume perfectly legal products?

You just know that most of the people who smoke will ignore this, be quite happy to buy their smokes off a chap down the local and avoid paying the extra tax.

New Labour = extra taxes and more paperwork.

Rose Gibb - Responsible for 90 dead & gets paid £75,000

Read this and weep for the state of our National Health Service.

Asked what she intended to do about the filthy wards at her hospital, Rose Gibb insisted she had introduced an "action plan" that would "address the issues" of inadequate cleaning.

This classic piece of management-speak was delivered in March 2001, when Miss Gibb was implicated in the first of a string of hygiene scandals at three separate NHS trusts.

The Daily Telegraph has learned that Miss Gibb, who rose to the £150,000-a-year post of chief executive of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust before she left the job last week, has an unenviable track record of presiding over dirty hospitals where infections have been able to spread.

Now here is the main point of how she failed in her job:

Miss Gibb moved on to her job as chief executive of the Kent trust in 2003, where she immediately pledged to sort out dirty wards. Yet the conditions remained so bad that Clostridium difficile became rampant, killing 90 patients.

Rose Gibb (above) - a female Harold Shipman.

Ok, so she takes the top job, makes a nice wage out of the NHS - some £150K per year and fails to resolve the problem with c.diff resulting in 90 people dying thanks to her fuck up.

But is she happy with walking away with £75,000 quid of taxpayers money for being unable to do her job, the very job that she was hired by the NHS to do? Fuck no, she wants more money.

As this from the BBC shows, she is under the belief that she has no responsibility for 90 people dying and deserves more money.

The former chief of the NHS trust at the centre of a superbug scandal in which 90 patients died is to take legal action to increase her severance pay.

Rose Gibb resigned from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust just before news of the C.diff deaths at the trust's three hospitals was revealed.

The trust decided, after taking legal advice, to pay her six months' salary of £75,000 in a severance deal.

Now her union has said she will reject the payoff and demand more.

Were there were any justice in the world, we would give this woman a quick two fingered salute and a trip to the local station to be charged under corporate manslaughter laws. Hell the bloody woman is a female version of Dr Harold Shipman, the only difference being that the late serial killer Dr Shipman was a bit more honest about his motives....

I hope the money chokes the bitch to death.
