Ok every so often someone comes along who is a grade A fucktard, someone for whom the Darwin Award will one day be presented as they remove themselves from the gene pool. This post will be added to on a random basis with various fools who have brought stupidity to a new level. Here is the first one:

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - A Pennsylvania man injured when a portable toilet exploded is suing a general contractor and a coal company for negligence.

John Jenkins, 53, and his wife Ramona Jenkins, 35, of Brave, Pa., filed the lawsuit in Monongalia County Circuit Court on Tuesday. They are suing Chisler Inc., a general contractor from Fairview, and Eastern Associated Coal Corp. for $10 million in damages.

The explosion occurred July 13, 2004, at Parrish Shaft in Blacksville. Jenkins, a North West Fuels Development Inc. methane power plant operator, entered a portable toilet, sat down and tried to light a cigarette.

“When I struck the lighter, the whole thing just detonated — the whole top blew off,” John Jenkins said. “I can’t tell you if it blew me out the door or if I jumped out."

OK here is another that shall remain nameless: Had a chat with this bloke who's pc was playing up. He was saying it was freezing in the middle of stuff, shutting down, the sound was cutting out etc etc. A regular tale of woe. So I agree to have a look at it for him.

So I go to his house, boot up the pc and listen to the gasping whine the fan was making. Turns out that he had had his pc for near on 4 years and it had been sat on the floor the whole time and had never once been cleaned. You would not believe the amount to stuff that builds up around a fan.

Five minutes and one hoover later, the pc was opened up, half a ton of fluff was cleared out, then the pc was re started and worked perfectly. One word of advise if you clean the pc - make sure you unplug it first, I know of someone who got a rather nasty shock by not doing that, and its best to let it stand for a bit first so all those nice bits in the pc become electric free.

Gary McKinnon: A British man arrested for allegedly carrying out the "biggest military computer hack of all time" has been released on bail by magistrates.
Gary McKinnon, accused of hacking into 53 US military and Nasa computers in 2001 and 2002, appeared before Bow Street magistrates in London.

The 39-year-old, of Wood Green, north London, will be back in court for an extradition hearing on 27 July.

His lawyer said he would contest extradition to the US "vigorously".

She told reporters: "Of particular concern to him is the treatment of other British nationals under the American judicial system which inspires little confidence.

"We believe that as a British national, he should be tried here in our courts by a British jury and not in the US."

Mr McKinnon, an unemployed computer systems administrator, is known on the internet as "Solo".

He is accused of hacking into computer networks operated by Nasa, the US Army, US Navy, Department of Defence and the US Air Force.

Mr McKinnon is charged with the biggest military computer hack of all time. One of the networks belonged to the Pentagon.

The US estimates the costs of tracking and correcting the problems he allegedly caused were around $1m (£570,000).

If he is extradited and found guilty, Mr McKinnon faces a long sentence in the US.

The Briton was indicted in 2002 by a federal grand jury on eight counts of computer-related crimes in 14 different states.

It claimed that he hacked into an army computer at Fort Myer, Virginia, obtained administrator privileges and transmitted codes, information and commands.


He is accused of then deleting around 1,300 user accounts.
The indictment alleged Mr McKinnon also deleted "critical system files" on the computer, copied a file containing usernames and encrypted passwords for the computer and installed tools to gain unauthorised access to other computers.

At the time of the indictment Paul McNulty, the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, said: "Mr McKinnon is charged with the biggest military computer hack of all time."

Mr McKinnon's solicitor, Karen Todner, estimates he could face a maximum 70-year jail sentence if convicted in the US.

She says he does not deny infiltrating US systems but says his motivation was to try to prove the existence of UFOs and to expose security failures.

JAKARTA (Reuters) - A bid by Indonesia's first directly elected president to be closer to his people by publicising his mobile phone number backfired over the weekend, after thousands of calls crashed the line.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono announced the number on Saturday and said anyone could call or send text messages if they wanted to complain about government services.

By Monday, Indonesian newspapers were carrying stories of people complaining they couldn't get through. Local media reported more than 3,000 calls had been made to the number.

"The number is now clogged and cannot be used anymore. The president said there should be five more numbers, but we need to install a new computerised system first," said presidential spokesman Andi Mallarangeng.

It was not clear if Yudhoyono had answered any of the calls himself.

The former army general became Indonesia's first directly elected president last year, and has worked hard to build an image of being close to the masses.

"He was chosen by the people so it's natural for the people to have access to the president," said Mallarangeng, who was previously a popular political TV commentator.

A survey in March showed 92 percent of Indonesians had a favorable impression of Yudhoyono, and 57 percent were satisfied with his administration.
