More on the parasite George Galloway MP

**Seems that the slimey George Galloway MP is in the news again.

Sen. Norm Coleman said his investigative subcommittee has found the "smoking gun" in its case against British Parliament member George Galloway: money from the U.N. oil-for-food program that went to his wife's bank account and into an account controlled by his political campaign.

A report by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations released Monday concludes that Galloway's organization, the Mariam Appeal, received at least $446,000, and Galloway's wife, Amineh Abu-Zayyad, received about $150,000 in connection with the oil allocations. In May, Galloway denied any involvement when he appeared before the panel, which Coleman chairs.

"Galloway was anything but straight with the Congress, he was anything but straight with the American people," the Minnesota Republican said.

The report contains documents, including bank account information and wire transfers, that conclude Fawaz Zureikat, a Jordanian businessman and Galloway confidante, was the filter through which money was transferred to the Mariam Appeal and Abu-Zayyad.

Did you see that the Independent Inquiry Committee investigating abuses in the Oil for Food program released its final report? If not, I wrote an article about it here. I thought about touching on Galloway, but left that turkey alone. I was against the program in 1997, but by 2001 it had just turned into a giant farce. Maybe this will stop us from trying anything so stupid again.

No, probably not.
