And lastly this whats being built in Iraq to help the people of that country: **On to something else now: ** And now for something really silly: BAGHDAD, Oct. 22 — Four U.S. contractors were killed last month when their convoy took a wrong turn, drove into a town north of Baghdad and was attacked by an angry mob, a senior U.S. military official said Saturday. The incident, which occurred Sept. 20 in the town of Duluiyah, about 45 miles north of Baghdad, was first reported Saturday by Britain’s Daily Telegraph. The senior U.S. military commander confirmed the account to The Washington Post. There was no explanation for why the military did not report the deaths earlier. The commander said the four men — identified by the Telegraph as employees of the Halliburton Co. subsidiary Kellogg Brown & Root — realized their convoy had taken a wrong turn and were desperately trying to escape from the town when their vehicle was attacked by insurgents. The Telegraph said “dozens of Sunni Arab insurgents wielding rocket launchers and automatic rifles” pursued their truck and shot at it. Two contractors who were not killed in the initial firing were dragged from their vehicle, and one was shot in the back of the head, the newspaper said.

EL FAGR Egyptian newspaper published threats made by Muslims radicals against the Pope of Alexandria. According to the newspaper, Muslim radicals publicly announced their threats through small mosques in the outskirts of the city of Alexandria and regarded the bloodshed of H.H. Pope Shenouda III as Halal (permissible) in revenge for what they considered an insult to Islam's prophet.
Cindy Sheehan, the military mother who made her son’s death in Iraq a rallying point for the anti-war movement, plans to tie herself to the White House fence to protest the milestone of 2,000 U.S. military deaths in Iraq. ** Lets just hope someone decides to run 20,000 volts through it whilst she is chained to it. What annoys me is she gets all the free pr from the left wing media, yet how often do we see anything on the brave people putting their lives on the line to bring democracy to that part of the world. Below is what happens when people put their lives on the line, a shame that woman is to self involved in her ego trip to spare any time to think about them...
