Now The Cross In Banned In The Uk

** Not content with banning toy pigs for fear off offending muslims, the PC brigade have launched a fatwa(sorry) against the cross now. You would expect that in non Christian nations but it seems the PC surrender monkeys are on a roll in the UK with promoting everything except our culture and religion.

A furious row has erupted out after a Derbyshire teenager was banned from wearing a crucifix at her school where Sikhs are allowed to carry ceremonial daggers. Sam Morris, 16, was sent home from Sinfin Community School, Derby, after she refused to remove a gold cross on a necklace.

She was told that the crucifix breached the school’s dress codes but the school does allow Sikh pupils to kirpan daggers and metal bracelets, as they are classed as religious symbols.

GCSE student Sam missed two days of study before her mother Debra Saunders, 37, allowed her to return to school without the necklace.

Sam, who had worn the necklace for the past three years, gave an interview with Sky News and told reporters that the cross was not a "fashion accessory" and she felt "naked without it".

Compulsion

Sinfin's deputy head Howard Jones said: "Most of our pupils understand allowing Sikhs to wear a bracelet is a compulsory part of their religion. Christianity does not require followers to wear specific symbols."

A resident of Stenson Fields who lives just yards from the school told the BNP’s East Midlands correspondent that those upset by Christian symbols should head elsewhere:

“We live in England, which is supposed to be a Christian country. If a child wants to wear a crucifix because of their religious beliefs then it is their right to do so. Anyone who finds this upsetting or wrong in anyway should pack their bags and go somewhere else.”

Quite so but what is most alarming about this case, and others like it is that there are no vocal protests from the Church hierarchy on this ceaseless persecution of Christians and Christian values.

** And if you think that is bad, the climate of pc fear and intimidation gets ever worse. What sort of sad wankers can be offended by a Christmas tree and some decorations when they have chosen to live in a Christian nation?

Bosses Ban Decorations

Almost three-quarters of British businesses are reported to have banned Christmas decorations in case they offend people of different religions. The trend is blamed on an increase in political correctness, as companies go out of their way not to offend minorities. Employment law firm Peninsula said it had surveyed more than 2,000 employers and found many were "succumbing" to political correctness.

About 70% of bosses questioned said they would not allow Christmas trees or decorations to be displayed in offices over the festive season. A spokesman said: "The workplace is now the latest in an increasing number of places affected by the wave of political correctness being imposed on festive traditions. "To ease fears of offending other faiths and excluding minorities, firms are increasingly banning Christmas decorations and traditions from the workplace."
