Happy New Year

Ah new year when the trains in London decide to go on strike, people eat drink and vomit way to much - watch out for the police and those £80 fines for being d&d tonight!

And lots of people get honours for doing fuck all. I mean come on OBE's and the like for cricketers. Even Tom Jones got an award, not sure what the hell he has done in the last 15 years - aside from a role in Mars Attacks; still guess New Labour needs all the votes it can muster next election.

Mind we have lots to look forward to, more lies from the BBC and the lefty new age terrorist hugger media, more lies from the Govt. The convicted libelist Paul Flynn still lacks the moral integrity to resign and still takes up room in the Commons, although if he had any decency after being convicted of libel he would either a/ resign, or b/remove the top of his skull with a service revolver.

- his apology:

Recently Paul Flynn was involved in a libel case where he made comments about an endowment pensions company, the result of which he had to pay out damages. He was sued after he posted an attack on such companies on his website, claiming they were out to "re-rob" the victims of endowment mis-selling by dishonestly over-charging them for their services.
But he made the mistake of referring to well-regarded company Endowment Justice Ltd, which represents mis-selling victims on a "no-win, no-fee" basis. The company and its directors sued and at London's High Court Mr Flynn made a public apology for the "unjustified attack" on the claimants' integrity.
The MP as part of the settlement put the following statement on his website: On this website in February this year, I made certain statements referring to Endowment Justice Limited, one of the companies which offers assistance in obtaining compensation for those people who were mis-sold endowment policies. I have been campaigning against companies providing professional services in relation to endowment policy compensation claims, but my facts about Endowment Justice were incorrect. As a result, I wrongly accused the company and its directors Nick Keca, Marianne Fitzjohn and Graeme Webber of having previously mis-sold endowment policies and now dishonestly overcharging those self-same victims to help them obtain compensation. I am happy to clarify that neither Endowment Justice Ltd or any of its directors were ever involved in any aspect of endowment policy selling. It was therefore false and unfair to suggest that they had profited from the historic mis-selling of endowment policies. I was also incorrect in stating that Endowment Justice, which offers its services in recovering compensation on a “no-win, no-fee” basis, could charge its customers up to 40% of any compensation gained. Endowment Justice in fact charge customers 17.5% plus VAT or 22.5% plus VAT of any compensation gained. I was wrong to give the unintended impression that the company or its directors acts in any way improperly or unlawfully in providing services to those seeking compensation for endowment policy mis-selling. I would like to apologise to Endowment Justice for my allegations, and to Mr. Keca, Ms. Fitzjohn and Mr. Webber for any embarrassment or distress caused by my false remarks.

Mind there will be lots of fireworks in 2006, mostly from Islamic terrorists kicking off because they cant get their own way, and blaming the West or Israel for the mess they are in- but maybe we will get some firworks from Iran, when their nuclear facilitys get taken out either by the US or NATO. fireworks from Iran.

Dry Bones cartoon - TerroristsAnother brilliant post from the Drybones blog - link on sidebar - Finally I think that in 2006 The Guardian or the BBC will come out and blame the US for everything that has ever gone wrong in the history of humanity and before. (After all they have been hinting at it for years....)

Finally I wish good will to all men and all that, well no actually I dont. Have to add that NTL/Fujitsu the bunch of fucks I worked for before can fuck off and die. (Did a previous post on walking out on them/having my mobile & MP3 player stolen etc...)

So happy new year to all of humanity except for NTL/Fujitsu. Also I would like in 2006 for Blair/Gordon "Cyclops" Brown to be tried for traitors that they are to this nation, for the UK to get rid of the PC guardian reading tossers that make up the ruling classes and who have got this once fine nation into a right fucking mess, and for Lloyds Tsb the bank who I also worked for and who stuck the knife into me for speaking out against outsourcing of work to India and who have sold out their staff in a cost cutting move to Idian; so lets hope they crash and burn in some big Enron style crash in 2006.

New Years Resolutions: Total Bollocks. So many people go on about doing this, doing that, blah blah blah. They are going to save, give up drink/smoking etc, yeah whatever all it takes is some will power and nowt else and no need to make a big deal about it just because its new year. Lots of things I want, but nothing I need to make any resolutions about changing in any way shape or form.

And before I get to the last bit, I hope I land a decent job in 2006 having worked for some total wankers in 2005, and if anyone wants to help me out they can make a donation on the sidebar via the paypal bit... Have a good year, unless your a liberal terrorist hugger or a terrorist in which case fuck you...

Thats me lot for tonight, off to have a few glasses of Chillian wine that tastes so good even the Phropet Mohammed would give it the thumbs up! Hell here's a New Year message from my ol pal Capt Hook Abu Hamza....

Free Jack Idema - Blog update....

Although we're getting a little now, Christmas in Britain passed without so much as a dusting of snow. Not so in Afghanistan, as we can see from this photograph, taken from inside the Pulacharke prison compound. The mountains, in particular, give a nice, Christmassy feel to the scene, as do the three or four inches of white stuff covering the ground.

In fact, the only things that really spoil this vista are the watchtowers, the prison bars and the knowledge that, behind them, are three American patriots -- Special Forces soldier Jack Idema, his right-hand man, Brent Bennet, and journalist Ed Caraballo.

Jack, Brent and Ed were originally sentenced to a decade in prison after a chaotic show trail in September 2004. Their judges were members of the Taliban regime who'd crept back into the new Afghan government.

More worrying, perhaps, the bearded crazies were assisted by groups within the FBI and U.S. State Department, who disappeared evidence and collaborated with the men who tortured Jack, Brent and Ed. Since the trail, there have been numerous assassination attempts mounted against Idema and his men by the Taliban and al-Qaeda scumbags they are being held with.

Most disturbing of all, however, is the fact that all three men were declared innocent after a retrial almost exactly a year ago. Now, granted, there are bound to be some differences between our legal systems and the one in Afghanistan, but we're pretty sure one thing they do have in common is the notion that locking up completely innocent people isn't acceptable ...

... So why are Jack and his men still incarcerated? For answers, we need to look at the way the War On Terror is actually playing out in Afghanistan, and to understand the extent to which many of the players in the FBI and U.S. State Department have edged away from killing and capturing Islamofascists, and back toward policies of appeasement and (false) stability. This has meant, at least for the State Department and the Karzai government, that men like Jack Idema became something of an inconvenience, hunting, arresting and killing the very terrorists they were foolishly attempting to broker deals with. In an effort to push their flawed agendas, then, sections of the U.S. government have seen to it that Idema and his men stay behind bars.

In essence, this means that Jack Idema is a political prisoner, who, bizarrely, is being held by prevent him hunting down and killing the very people who masterminded 9/11.

And, yes, you really do need to read that, last sentence over several times in order for its full implications to sink in. Four years after that terrible, September day, instead of bringing the sword of justice to the bearded crazies responsible for 3000 murders, we're bringing injustice to the men whose mission it is to hunt down the bin Ladens of this world and make them pay for what they did.

And, make no mistake, this is exactly what Jack Idema intends to do. Here he is, in an interview he gave a couple of months ago, laying down the principles upon which the WOT should be fought:

Americans now are saying let's have this peace and appeasement and all of this -- listen. Remember about this? People forget about the fact that people were diving out windows on 9/11 to avoid being burned to death. This is a war. War is a war of attrition -- that means you kill the enemy. You don't make peace with them, you don't make nice with them, you don't take 'em in for a steak dinner- you kill 'em. And believe me–these people deserve to die. They are the worst terrorists on the face of the earth. Look what they did on 9/11 and that is only one small part of what they want to do to us.
[You can hear the whole thing here.]

In the meantime, and while the head-hackers tuck into those steak dinners courtesy of the State Department, Jack Idema and his men are subjected to the petty malice of U.S. Consul Adrienne Harchick. Adrienne (or 'Addie' to the friends she doesn't deserve to have) has denied Jack and his men access to clean drinking water, refused to allow them to send hand-made gifts to their families back home, and even went so far as to seize 21 Christmas packages sent to Jack, Brent and Ed via regular Afghan post. Adrienne's lame excuse for this, last, piece of spite was that Christmas gifts 'violate the Muslim religion'. (This, even though Jack's many Muslim friends in the Northern Alliance have offered to deliver the presents to him themselves.)

But. This intolerable situation might, finally, be coming to an end. Last week, the Northern Alliance-backed Yunis Qanooni took the reigns of power in the Afghan Parliament, and, unlike the appeasing weasel Karzai, intends to prosecute the war against terrorists hard. We must also hope that Qanooni resolves to release Jack and his men so they can help in this endeavour.

Because here's the thing: someone like Jack Idema is doing no good looking at the Afghan mountains through the bars of a prison cell. He needs to be in those mountains, finishing the fight al-Qaeda started with us back in September, 2001.

Could Not Have Put It Better - message from Roger Knapman MEP

With his trademark self-satisfied grin, Tony Blair ended 2005 with a spectacular sell-out of British interests as he negotiated away a sizeable proportion of our EU rebate.

Not since Munich has a British Prime Minister returned from European negotiations with such an empty hand, and then tried to dress it up as a success. Appeasement is a bad starter; let us hope that we do not pay the price in 2006.

The 1938 analogy is particularly apt and must have been hanging on Blair’s conscience. For it was he who brought back the memories of the war years when he tried to chastise UKIP in the European Parliament by referring to 1945. That was where we lived, he said, and Europe has moved on since. Moved on, perhaps; forgotten, never.

And if I had to choose, for my part I’d rather live in 1945 than 1938.

In 1945 we were at least able to celebrate the defeat of the last great effort to create a united Europe, and a pretty nasty one at that. Britain had summoned up its every effort to preserve its freedom and independence. In 2006, in a different way, we have to do the same.

In the 1930’s there were plenty who saw no problem with Hitler’s Germany. Churchill’s voice of warning was dismissed. Politicians thought they could do a deal with Hitler and still preserve British independence and traditions. 1939 put an end to all of that.

Today it is fashionable in many quarters to believe that Britain can somehow be part of the EU and not lose our independence and traditions. The Labour Government sometimes says that, though they do not seem too bothered most of the time about either independence or tradition. It is a more common theme from Tory boy David Cameron who purports to want to preserve our sovereignty but remains firmly committed to EU membership.

But all of this is just another form of appeasement. The British political elite are obsessed with the idea that “if we’re nice” to the European federalists they’ll “let us” keep “most of” our sovereignty. Very generous of them, I’m sure. So we have to pay back our rebate or accept a few more directives or agree to an EU constitution but called something different, each another turn of the ratchet. In return? They’ll listen to a few of our suggestions and keep us on board.

This diplomatic dance misses two vital points. The first is that the end result is the same whether the dance is fast or slow. At a high price we do not change the EU, we merely buy ourselves time. The second point is that most of us didn’t want to dance in the first place. There is no point in negotiating compromises to please the other side so they “keep us on board” if we don’t want to be on board in the first place.

Appeasement diplomacy also forgets the lesson that the Dane, or in this case the Commission, always comes back for more. The story of Blair’s relations with Brussels shows just that. First he was going to protect every penny of the rebate; then it would give away less than £1bn; once conceded they wanted more, and so it became £1bn a year; now we are being told Britain may end up losing £1.9bn a year. And they will still be back.

So I’m glad Tony Blair brought up the subject of 1945. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat its mistakes. Tony Blair ought to be less glib when he dismisses the past or he may find the past catches up with him.

But who is he anyway to lecture on this theme? Labour’s idea of central planning and a federal Europe is the one that is out of date, we have moved beyond the failed experiment to a world of global trade.

History also shows that, sadly, the Conservative Party behaves no better in Government. Far from being more promising than in the past, the new leadership shows all the signs of being less trustworthy on European issues. They are offering no hope on this vital issue.

But there is a Party that has a clear, principled position and a consistent set of policies. That is our Party, UKIP. In 2006 it rests with us to fight for the cause of British independence. We must increase our strength and effectiveness so that the old Parties know they cannot press on with their European policies unchallenged or hide them from public view.

In wishing you a happy and successful New Year, I hope you will continue to support UKIP in its work both as a Party and a pressure group in order to help ensure that we make further progress in 2006.

Yours faithfully

ROGER KNAPMAN MEP

Happy New Year

First battle space transition in Nineveh Province

MOSUL, IRAQ – Over 500 soldiers from the Coalition Forces and the Iraqi Army came together for a battle-space assumption handover ceremony Dec. 27.

For the first time within the Nineveh Province of Iraq, the 3/3/2 Iraqi Army assumed military control of battle-space. The Iraqi Army is fully engaged in the fight, and Iraq’s leadership will bring security and stability back to the nation and ultimately defeat the insurgency.

One of the Coalition Forces main efforts is to build capable Iraqi Army battalions, brigades and divisions through partnership and transition teams. This effort has enabled the Iraqi people to have increased confidence in the capability and credibility of its security forces.

B-Roll of this monumental event can be down-loaded from the Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS), http://www.dvidshub.net/

Teamwork clearing Ramadi streets

CAMP BLUE DIAMOND, AR RAMADI, Iraq – Iraqi Army soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 1st Brigade, 7th Division working alongside of 2nd Brigade Combat Team (28th Infantry Division) are clearing the streets of known insurgents in western Ramadi.

In the past two days, 1-1-7 IA forces have detained five targeted insurgents, to include Jassim Mohammed Fayadh, a high value insurgent leader, allegedly responsible for financing terrorism in the Tammim neighborhood and known to have supplied arms and munitions to Al Qaeda in Iraq.

The four additional detainees are under investigation for coordinating insurgent attacks and activities, including the storage and transportation of weapon systems and munitions.

“Our battalion has been working in western Ramadi with the Coalition Forces for the last eight months. During that time, we have fought and captured many insurgents. Yesterday was a big step to bringing safety and security to this area for our local citizens and their families. We will continue to work with our coalition partners to bring security to western Ramadi,” said Lt. Col. Mustafa, Commanding Officer, 1-1-7 IA.

The insurgents have been placed under custody of Coalition Forces and will be tried in the Iraqi Criminal Court system.

There were no injuries to local Iraqi citizens, Iraqi Army soldiers or Coalition Forces. Additionally, there were no damages to equipment during the capture of these high level insurgent leaders.

Paul Flynn MP - Guilty of libel, still sitting in the commons.

(UPDATED 28-12-05 16.29) - keeping this post on the blog for a few weeks...
** Now think about this, here we have an MP who has been found guilty of libel after making false statements, being taken to court and then found guilty by the justice system and he still has the damn nerve to dis-honour the house of commons with his presense. ** Yes I know he's not the only convicted criminal to sit in the house, and mores the pity he wont be the last either. One can only imagine the outcry from the Labour side of the house were this a member of some other party that had been convicted of libel.

In days gone by a disgraced MP would resign (and done the decent thing with a service revolver and a bottle of whiskey...), and indeed if most people were found guilty of libel they would - if in a professional career where there word and honour was supposed to mean something- be forced to do the decent thing and resign their position forthwith. Yet Mr Flynn(I wont demean the title he has by refering to him as an MP) still insists on staying in the house.

Maybe this is a New Labour thing, as he called for Mr Blair to resign just after the May elections this year as did several MP's and yet we still have Mr Blair in No.10. So I must assume that its a case of do as I say and not as I do now that I have broken the laws of the land, but I am now calling for him to stand down with immediate effect and allow a person who has not had their reputation tarnished by being hauled through the courts to stand and properly represent the decent citizens of Newport.

I am sure that there will be people out there who would argue that libel is hardly the most serious of crimes, but I (and the law courts) take a differing view on that. His comments about that company could have lead to them going out of business and to the people in that company being tarred with Mr Flynns untrue comments for the rest of their lives.

One can hardly wonder when an MP acts that way, why the number of voters is declining and people feel that all politicians are on the make and cant be trusted, when people see that honesty and integrity have no place in the commons any more. It reflects very badly on the many decent and honest MP's who are in the house, who work long and hard for the people they represent.

I must add finally that I am all in favour of the rehabilitation of convicted criminals, but I feel that a job in the house of commons as an MP is not the ideal place for them.

**I have forwarded this onto Mr Flynn and asked if he will be standing down, and be assured that the libel case will be getting a lot of publicity if he does not when the next election comes up. I have contacted him before via e-mail and have not as yet recieved a reply in any form from him, although I have not contacted him by normal mail as yet.

In the High Court today (8th November 2005) Paul Flynn MP for Newport West, through his solicitor, apologised unreservedly for the damage caused by allegations he made against Endowment Justice and its Directors. He also agreed to place an apology on the home page of his website and has agreed not to repeat again the same or similar allegations. He will pay damages of £1000, which Endowment Justice has donated to the NSPCC, and costs of £35,450. In February of this year Paul Flynn made certain statements about companies providing professional services in relation to endowment policy compensation claims. Despite having spoken to Endowment Justice he linked these libellous allegations to them. He then repeated the same allegations to a journalist from Money Marketing which published his statements in an article. Paul Flynn now accepts that these allegations concerning Endowment Justice are completely false. Marianne Fitzjohn, Director of Endowment Justice commented: "This whole case has been extremely stressful for all of us at Endowment Justice. We set up Endowment Justice to be a champion for people who were getting short shrift from the financial institutions when they have legitimate claims for endowment mis-selling."We believe that we have been in the vanguard in trying to ensure that financial institutions behave properly and stop misleading their own clients. We have been in regular contact with the FSA and the FOS concerning the behaviour of both the larger financial institutions and the IFAs who inappropriately sold these endowment policies."We have also repeatedly called for the endowment claims companies to be regulated as we recognise that there are examples of bad practice. Endowment claimants should be very discriminating in choosing a company, which can help them in making their claim."We repeatedly asked Paul Flynn to apologise and withdraw his comments. Even when we went to law he still simply refused to respond. We reluctantly brought this action to vindicate our reputation, because our reputation and integrity are of paramount important to us and integral to how we run our business."We are delighted that the whole matter is now over and are very pleased that it was a term of the settlement that a contribution would be made to charity. The damages will be paid to the NSPCC."

David Hicks - Aussie Scumbag - Not Welcome.

** David hicks the Aussie Taliban that is trying to get UK citizenship and it looks like he is going to get it as well, so he can flee justice in the US - he is currently held in Cuba after being caught in Afganistan - and come to UK where his "rights" will be protected by a raft of bottom feeding human rights lawyers.

This makes me sick, we have enough of these terrorist scumfucks in the UK as it is, and looney law lords decide that they cant see any reason why he can be denied UK citizenship? How about 9/11 or 7/7. Hell the man even admits to having met Osama Bin Laden! How about the fact he hates the west, wants us to live under islamic law and has taken up arms against us infidels already!

Thanks to the weak rule of Tony and the pack of cowards that make up New Labour, it looks like we will soon have the pleasant company of Mr Hicks in the UK, and you can bet the Islamonazi will be plotting the downfall of the west as soon as he is free. After all thanks to the loud baying of the looney left and terrorst hugger support groups like Liberty the untermenchen turds held by the US who had UK citizenship were free to come back here and plot away to their black hearts content.

check out this link for more on him....wikipedia bits on the Aussie scumbag. Weapons training, joined the Taliban, met ol Osama and get this bit from his letters as read out by his father: Terry Hicks reads out excerpts of David Hicks's letters, in which Hicks says that his training in Pakistan and Afghanistan is designed to ensure "the Western-Jewish domination is finished, so we live under Muslim law again". He denounces the plots of the Jews to divide Muslims and make them think poorly of Osama bin Laden and warns his father to ignore "the Jews' propaganda war machine."

Hicks acknowledged that he had trained with al-Qaeda: Ű§Ù„Ù‚Ű§ŰčŰŻŰ©
in Afghanistan, learning guerilla tactics and urban warfare. He also acknowledged that he had met Osama bin Laden. ** Well there we go thats just what we kafir in the UK need is another al-Qaeda who wants hardline islam and hates jews. Pisses me off that this barbarian who has a total hated for us will use our legal system to escape US justice.

**And the law lords who care more about terrorists than the public who pay their wages said: On December 13, 2005, Justice Lawrence Collins of the High Court ruled that British Home Secretary Charles Clarke has "no power in law" to deprive Mr Hicks of British citizenship "and so he must be registered". The Home Office announced it will take the matter to the Court of Appeal, but Justice Collins denied them a stay of judgement, meaning that the British government must proceed with the application.

Bits From Iraq

Three weapons caches discovered, destroyed

TIKRIT, Iraq – Three weapons caches were discovered and destroyed by Iraqi and U.S. Soldiers Dec. 27 in north central Iraq.

Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team discovered a large cache of mortar rounds and artillery fuses while patrolling near Hawijah Dec. 27.

Nearly 400 mortar rounds of various types and sizes, along with 250 lbs. of explosive propellant, 878 artillery fuses, 1,900 rounds of small arms ammunition, a Russian-made anti-tank missile and an anti-personnel mine were blown up by an explosive ordnance disposal team at the site in a controlled detonation.

Iraqi and U.S. Soldiers, operating near Bayji Dec. 27, uncovered and destroyed two weapons caches.

The first find yielded three mortar tubes, a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, more than 60 RPG warheads, a pound of plastic explosives and several hundred rounds of small arms ammunition.

The second, larger cache contained 58 artillery shells, 300 anti-aircraft artillery rounds, 26 mortar tubes, four RPG launchers and 35 lbs. of bulk explosives.

Iraqi and U.S. forces found dozens of weapons caches since Task Force Band of Brothers stood up two months ago. Thousands of weapons and explosives have been taken from the terrorists and other criminals, preventing an untold number of attacks against the local populace and coalition forces.

Would-be bombers busted

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Band of Brothers Soldiers disrupted two terrorist bombing operations Dec. 27 in Baqubah, a city about 20 miles north of Baghdad.

Two terrorists were detained and another killed during the incidents at a newly emplaced checkpoint.

The first incident occurred just before noon, when Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team stopped a suspicious car and detained the driver after discovering the vehicle was being prepared as a vehicle-borne IED.

An explosives ordnance disposal team was called to examine the vehicle. No explosives were found, but the car was laced with wiring used to detonate explosives. The car was confiscated and taken to a nearby military base.

Several hours later, a second vehicle tried to run through the checkpoint and was fired at by the Soldiers. The driver was killed in the initial burst of fire and the vehicle came to a quick stop. Two men with AK-47 assault rifles climbed out and were engaged as they attempted to flee.

One of the gunmen successfully evaded capture, but the other was wounded and quickly surrounded. As the Soldiers approached the wounded man, they noticed he was wearing what appeared to be an explosive laden suicide belt.

Soldiers guarded the man until an EOD team arrived and removed the belt, which contained more than three pounds of plastic explosives.

The failed bomber was treated for his wounds and detained.

** Ok not had much chance to do an update on this, what with Christmas and changing jobs and such over the last month(a the normal end of year bullshit that comes along at once.)

For anyone not in the know as to whats happening with this guy being held in prison on piss poor charges - at best - then check out the links on the sidebar. They are staying up until he has been freed.

The most disturbing thing is that the man is illegally-imprisoned, add to that the damn near total lack of interest from the media who are quite happy to dole out whatever rubbish they are handed by official sources, yet alone the politicans who can be relied upon to be spineless most of the damn time.

Now first off check this out:
http://www.superpatriots.us/jack/jackandthesas.htm

as they have been running this for a hell of a long time and put a lot of work in on this case, have all the background info and so on. This link shows Jack's ties to our own SAS here in the UK

This is Idema with Colonel Paddy Baker, who made a name for himself as an SAS Commando during the battles to turn back communist gorillas in Oman, 1964 -- Here, Idema is instructing Baker in the use of the HK MP-5SD3 Submachinegun (then a secret, prototype weapon). Idema ran the SAS course in the weapon's use, and as a result of this, the regiment switched over from the L2A3 Sterling SMG to the HK MP-5. This was the weapon used by the SAS when they stormed the Iranian embassy in 1981 -- Doubtless, what helped persuade the SAS to trust their lives to the weapon was the 'unremarkable' 'immaturity' of the man instructing them in its use.

This link will take you to the section of Cao's site which covers everything in great detail. You should also stop by at SuperPatriots, who've been chiping away at the media lies and spin and if you decide to join, email Cao or Rottweiler Puppy.

During the visit, Rumsfeld served dinner to the Soldiers, awarded a Bronze Star Medal to a Soldier who saved an Iraqi child’s life and met with top military officials.

“I am here to wish the troops a Merry Christmas and to commend them on what an excellent job they have done preceding the Iraqi elections and since the elections”.

Rumsfeld took the time to meet and take pictures with several hundred troops during the visit. He told the Soldiers that in the future Soldiers will look back and see what a great difference they have made liberating the citizens of Iraq.

This is one of many trips the secretary has made to visit troops in Iraq.

Attacks backfire on terrorists

TIKRIT, Iraq – Seven terrorists were killed in two failed attacks Dec. 24 in Salah Ad Din province.

Police in Samarra responded to an explosion and discovered the bodies of three unidentified men. The men were attempting to fire an 82-mm mortar at an unknown target when the round detonated prematurely. A fourth terrorist was taken to a local medical facility, but died from his injuries while attempting to escape.

A short time later, a patrol from the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team annihilated a would-be ambush near the city Ad Duluiyah. Terrorists attacked the patrol with small arms fire, but the Soldiers quickly identified and engaged them, killing three. No Soldiers were injured in the engagement.

** Finally car bombings in Iraq are at a 7 month low, not that you would think that from the lefty media reporting on the war. When was the last time you saw a story on the re-building work going on, or the terrorists being taken off the streets? And the next time you watch the liberal pro commie, tree hugging, new age, pro EU, starbuck drinking, islamonazi pro BBC remember that 262 of their top people earn over £100,000 a year. Thats money taken out of the licence payers pockets and wasted on these people.

.

Double Standards From The EU

Although the US is portrayed as the ecological villain for refusing to sign up to the agreement, 10 out of the 15 European Union signatories - including Ireland, Italy and Spain - will miss their targets without urgent action, the Institute for Public Policy Research found.

France, Greece and Germany are given "amber warnings" and will only achieve the objectives if planned policies are successfully carried out.

Tony Grayling, the institute's associate director, said the world was near the point of no return on climate change. "We have little time left to start reducing global greenhouse gas emissions before irreparable damage is done. It is vital that EU countries keep their promises to cut pollution. They must take action now to get back on the Kyoto track, including energy saving and investment in renewable energy."

** So it looks like only the UK & Sweden are going to be on target, so where are all the whiney leftey, new age tree hugger, Starfuck drinking eco loons on this one? Nowhere to be seen. Not a damn peep out of any of them. Yes they loved to bitch at the US for not signing the worthless treaty in the first place, and now they themselves have failed to meet their targets.

Hell fuck Kyoto to hell and back for the worthless waste of money it is!

Christmas Over For Another Year & Mugabe Attacked By Goat.

**Well all the Christmas celebrations are over now. I have been away at my parents for a few days with my better half. Spent Christmas Eve watching the world celebrate Christmas in their various fashions. In the UK everyone got drunk, claimed total strangers were their best mate in the world ever and in France they burned over 100 cars. France still has problems with muslim savages and lacks the bottle to suppress rioting in their own nation

Still each to their own as they say. Some more good news in the fact that Dictator and murdering son of a bitch Bob Mugabe was attached, but not fatally alas by a goat... Now all we need is some other farm animals to take out that looney Chavez, UN Leader Koffing Anus and the leader of Iran...posted the story below.

A billy goat did some rough, instant justice to the President when his motorcade stopped to refuel en-route to the eastern resorts of Nyanga. The president, popularly known as Bob got out to stretch his legs, and speak to a couple locals. He was holding a bottle of water, when a Billy goat developed a profound interest and chose to pursue it. Whilst Bob swung the bottle at the goat, it quickly and sharply pierced Bob's scrotum, and large bowel. Mugabe's notorious bodyguards seemed unable to prevent the attack as the goat lunged towards the president, perhaps the goat should be handling his security in future. By the time they reached Christmas pass outside mutare, the President was in horrible pain and had to be rushed to a secret location in Mutare for medical treatment.

It is not clear why the president was visiting Nyanga but Zimdaily understands Mugabe has a secret passion for gambling. He is rumoured to have visited Montclair Hotel in Nyanga endless times to fulfill his gambling desires, as he cannot use the facilities in Harare Showgrounds for security reasons. Grace Mugabe, the president's young wife, is believed to be in Pretoria doing what she does best, last minute shopping for Xmas.

Rumours are mounting that the couple have a strained relationship and to be in separate countries so close to the festive season is a telling indicator that this is indeed likely to be true. It is almost common knowledge that they no longer sleep in the same bed, so this twist in events is unlikely to make that much of a difference to a marriage that seems to revolve around convenience.

The president is also rumoured to be in the process of acquiring a private jet to allow him to make more frequent, long distance trips more securely and to reduce the burden of fueling hassles. He is expected to join Grace and the children in South Africa once the doctors give him the all clear.

** Lets just hope that the goat does not disapear along with its owners in some "re-education camp". The first blow for freedom has been struck for the people of Zimbabwe, one day that goat will have a huge statue put up in the capitol....who knows maybe it wants to be president, after all it has more intelligence than Bob Mugabe

The British government have put forward the Winter Festival Bill in preparation for next years Winter Festival. A Labour spokeswoman said "The Winter Festival Bill aims to open up the present distribution network to competition, to bring the operation into line with European health and safety regulations and to ensure that the Winter Festival is more responsive to the needs of our modern, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and diverse society." The Winter Festival Bill was devised by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister following a 48 hour consultation period with representatives from minority groups and the European Union. The Bill will require all homes to complete a health and safety assessment and obtain a Festive Visitor insurance certificate before presents will be delivered for the Winter Festival. When questioned about the cost of the new regulations, Chancellor Gordon Brown said "A tax will be introduced to pay for the administration of the new regulations in England. An extra £5bn has been allocated to cover the cost of the scheme in Scotland and Wales." An investigation by the EU Competition Commission has found that Santa Holding Corporation is operating a monopoly on the delivery of gifts for the Winter Festival and has ordered the industry to be opened up to competition. To this end, the Winter Festival Bill will provide for the establishment of regional franchises which will be tendered for by interested providers. The EU has set aside €300m to help subsidise deliveries to the less profitable regions of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Deliveries across the English regions will not be subsidised but will instead be staggered throughout the end of December and the beginning of January. A spokesman for the SNP immediately objected to the bill on the grounds that gift delivery should be devolved to the Scottish Parliament and demanded that an extra £3bn be allocated to Scotland to offset the costs of the new regulations, whatever they might turn out to be. Under the bill, four new agencies will be set up to administer the operation of gift deliveries under the Winter Festival Bill. Winter Festival Scotland, the Welsh Winter Festival Observatory Body, Your Winter Festival Northern Ireland and Winter Festival Britain will take over the regulation of Winter Festival gift deliveries with effect from the 1st January.

Michael Moore - Twat of the year 2005

** Yes Michael Moore what can I say to best cover him? Lots, his inane ramblings, his poorly written books with vague and highly inaccurate conspiracy theorys. Yes I have actually sat down and read them, and watched his poor films as well.

All I can add after doing that is that I am owed a few hours of my life back by fat boy here. In fact I have reached a theory of my own about ol fat boy Moore and it works like this:

Fat boy grew up and was never able to get anywhere through any ability of his own as he grew up, so he became bitter at the vast majority and realised that his one ability was to be able to shout people down.

Lets remember his rascist portrayal of blacks: Moore said, during an appearance on stage in London, that the plane passengers on 9/11 were "scaredy-cats" because they were mostly white; that if there were more black people on the flights they would have "crushed" the hijackers. Hell were he on the plane he most definately could have crushed a highjacker to death....

So Mr Moore you are my TWAT OF THE YEAR 2005.

Loons In Italy

** Ah yes some looney Italian judge issues a warrant that makes him look important and does nothing else, except annoy the US which is never going to give up its people to a bunch of lefty euro loons where they can be sure of not getting a fair trial.

ROME, Italy (AP) -- A judge has issued European arrest warrants for 22 purported CIA operatives in connection with the alleged kidnapping of an Egyptian cleric from a Milan street in 2003, a prosecutor said Friday.

Prosecutor Armando Spataro said the warrants allowed for the arrest of the suspects in any of the 25 EU member countries. Previously, Italy had issued arrest warrants for the 22 inside Italy.

Spataro has already sought the extradition of the 22 from the U.S. However, the request has remained with Justice Minister Roberto Castelli, who has sought more court documentation on the case before making any decision on whether to forward it to Washington, Spataro said.

Earlier this week, Premier Silvio Berlusconi, a top U.S. ally, suggested the government may not push the prosecutors' request with Washington saying, "I don't think there is any basis in the case."

Castelli, for his part, has also questioned Spataro's motives in the case, suggesting the prosecutor was a leftist militant and anti-American.

Milan's chief prosecutor responded by saying he fully supported Spataro, the investigation and its findings.

The 22 people allegedly were involved in the kidnapping of cleric Osama Moustafa Hassan Nasr, also known as Abu Omar.

The cleric, believed to belong to an Islamic terror group, was allegedly abducted on a Milan street on February 17, 2003, before being flown to Egypt, where he was reportedly tortured.

The operation was believed part of the CIA's "extraordinary rendition" program in which terrorism suspects are transferred to third countries where some allegedly are subjected to torture.

Prosecutors say the cleric's abduction was a serious violation of Italian sovereignty, and that it had hindered Italian terrorism investigations.

Pollution May Slow Global Warming & bits from Iraq.

** Now I have never been a fan of the theory of global warming, and how its all the fault of the nasty west and in particular the US because they never signed the Kyoto treaty. (Besides I am someone who has a distrust of lefty professors who possess beards and strange pebble glasses and try to force unproven theorys onto the political stage) I have always thought that it needs a lot more research and the climate has had many drastic changes in the past, and there were no Americans driving SUV's back then.

Published: December 22, 2005

Pollution may be slowing global warming, researchers are reporting today, and a cleaner environment may soon speed it up.

Writing in the journal Nature, an international scientific team provides evidence suggesting that a reduction in haze from human causes may accelerate warming of the earth's atmosphere. The researchers said pollutants had held down the rate of global warming by absorbing and scattering sunlight.

"If people clean up the air, more warming will come blazing through," Jim Coakley, a professor of atmospheric sciences at Oregon State University in Corvallis, said yesterday in a telephone interview. Nature selected Dr. Coakley to write a commentary on the study.

The scientists, who work for government agencies in Britain and the United States, made the finding after adding satellite-based measurements of haze to computer models estimating the consequences of industrial emissions of aerosols, or airborne particles.

Haze scatters and absorbs some sunlight, keeping it from reaching the ground, and this cooling effect is stronger than many scientists had believed, the study says. The cooling offsets about one-third of the warming from the use of fossil fuels and other manmade causes, the study says.

"Consequently, continued aerosol emission controls may lead to a stronger warming than current model predictions," the researchers wrote.

Global temperatures are already about seven-tenths of a degree Fahrenheit higher than they were in the 1880's, Dr. Coakley said, and expected further warming may mean that within decades, summers will be about a month longer than they are now.

The new estimate of the cooling effect of haze is at the high end of ranges cited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a study group created by the United Nations Environment Program and the World Meteorological Organization.

But Dr. Coakley noted that the science was still complicated and that other factors remained to be measured, including the cooling effect of sunlight reflections from water droplets associated with haze, as distinct from the haze itself. Reducing haze would eliminate the droplets and remove yet another source of cooling, he said.

"This is a brave effort," he said of the new report. "But let's see what others come up with now."

In 1995, Paul Crutzen, Mario Molina and F. Sherwood Rowland received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for explaining how the ozone shield, which screens out harmful radiation, is damaged by industrial gases.

Mosul media emir and administrator captured

BAGHDAD, Iraq – An Ansar al-Sunna of Mosul Media Emir and Administrator were captured by Coalition Forces during raids on suspected terrorist safe houses near Mosul.

Muhammad ‘Amir Husayn Mar’I al-Sufi, known as Abu Naba, was an Ansar al-Sunna media emir in Mosul and ‘Adnan ‘Abd-al-Wahab ‘Abdallah Mahmud al-Badrani, known as Abu Hudayfah, an Ansar al-Sunna administrator, were captured Nov. 23 and Dec. 5, 2005 respectively.

Abu Naba was responsible for disseminating propaganda - in this capacity, he produced propaganda fliers and compact disks focusing on military operations, anti-voting messages, Jihad messages and prayers.

He also facilitated videos of attacks on Iraqi and Coalition Forces to be posted to the Internet. He purchased cameras for terrorists to film violent acts including bombings, kidnappings and executions. Abu Naba helped produce the final video products and delivered the videos to other Ansar al-Sunna leaders for posting on the Internet.

Based on information Abu Naba and other detained terrorists provided to Coalition Forces, Abu Hudayfah, allegedly in charge of logistics and support for Ansar al-Sunna of Mosul was also identified and captured.

Three terrorists caught emplacing bomb

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Three terrorists were captured as they were caught emplacing a hoax roadside bomb in east Baghdad Dec. 21.

At about 6 p.m., a patrol from 3rd Squadron, 7th Cavalry observed a civilian vehicle dropping cement blocks in the median of a major thoroughfare. The patrol intercepted the suspicious vehicle and detained three suspected terrorists.

Additional elements of 3-7 CAV secured the site surrounding the suspicious items and an explosive ordnance disposal team investigated the objects and found them to be hoax roadside bombs.

“These suspected terrorists were not placing cement blocks in the road for any other reason then to terrorize and intimidate the population. They are currently being detained at a military detention facility,” said Maj. Paul Reese, operations officer for 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division.

“Anyone found guilty of emplacing a hoax roadside bomb is a terrorist – make no mistake about it; the good people of Iraq are disgusted by these types of games.”

Hoax roadside bombs are commonly used by terrorists to check how Iraqi Security and Coalition Forces will react.

Roadside bombs are a deadly threat, anyone found planting roadside bombs, either real or hoax, will be treated as a terrorist.

Iraqi citizen helps Coalition Forces

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A local national identified a home in east Baghdad that was being used as a factory to make improvised rocket-launchers.

At about 6:30 p.m. elements of 3rd squadron, 7th Cavalry, raided the home and discovered 15 rocket-launchers were in the process of being built and one 57 millimeter rocket was competed and ready to be fired. No one was present in the home at the time of the raid.

“It is encouraging that the Iraqi citizens are continuing to choose the side of the new government over the terrorists. The Iraqi citizens know that providing information against the terrorists to Coalition or Iraqi Security Forces will help to improve the security situation in their neighborhoods,” said Col. Joseph DiSalvo, commander of Coalition Forces in east Baghdad.

All equipment in the home was seized and will be used as evidence against the homeowners when they are caught. Iraqi Security Forces are continuing the search.

SECDEF visits Camp Fallujah, announces U.S. troop reductions

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld met with Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen here today to remind them of the support they have back home. He also used the occasion to announce the U.S. government’s decision not to deploy the 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and to keep a second Army brigade in Kuwait as a “call forward” force.

The 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, originally scheduled to deploy to Iraq, will remain in Kuwait to support forces in Iraq if required. Approximately 3,500 soldiers are assigned to each of these two brigades.

After conducting a brief meeting with MNF-W Commanding General Maj. Gen. Stephen T. Johnson, he addressed the crowd of approximately 500 service members.

“I wanted to be here today to personally recognize the superb job you folks are doing. It is noticed across the world. It’s appreciated and certainly I want to tell you each how grateful we are for your service, your sacrifice and for your commitment to a truly historic cause. And to tell you how grateful your country is to you and also your families and loved ones.” Rumsfeld said.

After thanking the troops for their sacrifice and dedication to the mission in Iraq, Mr. Rumsfeld took some time to personally greet service members and pose for photos before returning to Baghdad.

Joint Statement by Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad and General George Casey

December 23, 2005

In a move we regard as a demonstration of the real progress in Iraq, the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of the Interior, the U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld today announced a reduction of U.S. forces by two brigades. That will bring down the total level from 17 brigades to 15.

We celebrate this force adjustment decision, made together by the Iraqi and United States governments, and it should be welcomed by the Iraqi people. This adjustment is an indication of the remarkable progress Iraq is making. It clearly demonstrates the dramatic increase in capabilities of the Iraqi Security Forces. This move would not have been possible without the dedication, bravery and sacrifice of your Iraqi Security Forces.

Although we are adjusting our posture, we remain committed to the establishment of a free and stable Iraq. Coalition Force advisory teams embedded with the ISF continue to work hand-in-hand in training and operations. We will remain as long as requested to do so by the Iraqi government.

The ISF today exceed 200,000, and continue to grow, improve and conduct more and more independent operations each day. They proved themselves to the Iraqi people and the world during the October referendum, and again on December 15. And now, we ask the Iraqi people to stand by them, have confidence in them and think about what they will do in the future. An Iraqi people, united behind their security forces and rejecting terror and violence will find peace and prosperity in the new Iraq.

As we said last week after the historic elections: We will stand by the Iraqi people until the Iraqis can stand on their own feet. We will work with the new Iraqi government to increase its capacity and achieve self-reliance. We will stand with our Iraqi allies in the fight for security through focused operations. We need to ensure that the Iraqi people have confidence and trust in their security institutions.

We continue to assess the security situation and conditions on the ground and will adjust the size composition of our mission and forces as necessary.

May God bless the people of Iraq.
