** After a few months of struggle and lack of ale, I have managed to land a decent job - having had a few bad ones since leaving Lloyds(although I will also class that as a crap job, at least as far as its management were concerned)
So I start on Monday and can now get my life back on track again and start saving for my trip to Italy at the end of this year.
Guess its thanks to the few that have helped out, made donations and the like and some of the others who were not so helpfull and out sharpening the knifes, well all I can say is your time will come.
Weapons seized, 11 suspects detained
TIKRIT, Iraq – Soldiers from Task Force Band of Brothers seized four weapons caches and detained 11 suspected terrorists Jan. 4 in northern Iraq.
Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, conducting a patrol near Hawija, detained eight suspects and destroyed a large collection of weapons and explosives Jan. 4.
Three of the men were caught as they tried to run away when the patrol came upon their truck stopped alongside the road. Five other men were discovered in the truck. The weapons included rocket-propelled grenades and launchers, machine guns and IED components.
Three more suspects were taken into custody after another 1st BCT patrol near Hawija stopped their vehicle and discovered 30 pistols.
A local man reported a cache of approximately 6,000 anti-aircraft artillery rounds to a patrol near Bayji. The cache was transported to a nearby military base for disposal.
A fourth cache, containing 25 artillery rounds was discovered and taken to a base near Kirkuk for disposal.
Iraqi Army conducts cordon, search with success
BAGHDAD, Iraq – During a planned cordon and search, Iraqi Soldiers found and secured two improvised explosive devices Dec. 5, before they could be used against civilians or Coalition Forces.
The pre-dawn operation was planned, staffed and conducted by the 2nd Battalion, 1st Brigade, 9th Iraqi Mechanized Division and supported by Task Force Baghdad Soldiers.
In addition to the two IEDs, Iraqi Soldiers detained a total of six people who may have been involved with roadside bombs or connected to other terrorist activities. Iraqi units in this sector are responsible for more than 80 square miles in northern Baghdad.
** Finally a bit on the ties between terrorists in al-Quada and the former dictatorship of Iraq, guess this story just wont go away - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10652305/site/newsweek/** Found this over at caosblog and just had to post it. Shows the metality of the mindless fuctards that populate the left in our country. Raving loonies that throw money at pervs - see my other post of the day for more on that- and just love to tell us how we should live. These are same people who make up our high court judges - who set criminals free after they have been found guilty and allow Australian al-Quada members to get UK citizenship.
God help anyone who actually disagrees with them - best way I have found is to say in a loud voice that LIBERATING IRAQ WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO - sets them off on a rant against the US and Bush for hours. Then point out the terrorists started it all by killing thousands in 9/11.
They bang on about free speech - unless it disagrees with their view of the world - and human rights - yet hang on the every word of terrorist out to kill us and who want to remove our rights, the most important of which is the right to live free from terror and tyranny .
A good example of that is Saddams bitch the traitor and oil baron - fuck him if the shit wants to sue me - George Galloway, and of course the ranting Red Ken Livingstone. Want an all expenses paid trip to London? Found a radical looney left/islamopath/liberate Ireland group and ol Red Ken will get that sorted for you in no time at all.
Worst part of the whole shit cake is the ever expanding civil service(the tradition home of looney pc fuctwits). I mean lets face it, just how many people can this paperwork machine employ, as the old joke go's:
How many people work in the civil service? About 1 in 10.
Not that they are going to rock the boat against the government of course, after all the opposition may cut back on the hoards of coffee drinking bean counters. Add to that its all pervasive nature of the state, with its political ajenda of looking into every part of peoples lives and putting over its pc view of how we should live.
** Finally put in a link to the tax payers alliance, a rather good site that shows the way the Blair regime keeps spending money on more on more useless bean counters.
1 people have spoken:
