Not a single British paper has published the cartoons of Mo the prophet(praise be his name and all that jazz), yet a riot was organised in Iran and the British embassy attacked.
It does make me think that considering the fact that Iran is a police state, that the government was using the cartoons of mo(praise be upon him etc etc) as an excuse for an attack on what they see as an enemy who is getting in their way.
After all what right have we to complain about them wanting to get nuclear weapons and remove Israel off the map.
On a different media story of the "alleged abuse of poor Iraqi children" by nasty British soldiers(as opposed to nasty US soldiers that El Beeb loves to bitch about) that the media is working itself up into a wankfest over, we can see (below) that they are not so defenceless. Of course if like El Beeb our state broadcaster you play clips of video out of context you can put across any message you like. It doesnt help that the El Beeb has talentless propaganda people like John Simpson, a modern day Lord Haw Haw out to crow at our nation and its defenders at any cost in order to score there lefty points.

Strange how the Beeb has not been flashing this picture around on its news or on its website. Lefty spin anyone?.... Mind we are living in a nation where its ok to carry banners promoting terrorism and beheadings, but watch out if you want to light up a cigarette in a public house(or any other public building for that matter) and should you dare to drop your cigarette butt then plod will be there in seconds to issue that fixed penalty in a fraction of a second. Oh and any motorist will agree that should you break the slightest traffic law a full armed response unit will be there to make sure justice is done - again in record time. Just a shame that it takes them so long to turn up when shop keepers are getting robbed that is provided the goods are over the value of £75 otherwise they may not bother to arrive at all.
And should you raise the finger at a speed camera or call a police horse "gay" then watch out. If anyone thinks that our legal system is strange, well it gets better. Its illegal to make a mobile call whilst in the driving seat of a car even with the engine turned off whilst stuck in one of the huge traffic jams that clog up our nation.
A bit on the forthcoming ID CARDS....Under U.K. law citizens of the Republic of Ireland can legally travel back and forth across the Irish sea without a passport. So Irish citizens are legally able to enter the country without being legally required to carry identification. Unlike British subjects and the English call the Irish thick!
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Scores of Iranian demonstrators hurled petrol bombs at the British embassy on Tuesday in renewed protests over the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad and Western opposition to Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
The protesters, mostly religious seminary students, chanted "Death to Tony Blair", "Death to Britain" and Death to America" while throwing hundreds of stones at the embassy buildings, smashing many windows.
The Danish cartoons have been reproduced by only a handful of British media outlets, but much more widely in other European countries. Violent protests have also taken place outside the Tehran embassies of Denmark, Norway, Austria, France and Germany.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has accused Iran's and Syria's governments of stoking popular anger over the cartoons, but several Iranian officials have in recent days urged protesters not to attack or damage foreign embassies.
Among the crowd outside the British embassy were at least five donkeys draped with the flags of countries such as the United States and Denmark, and a dog wrapped in an Israeli flag. The crowd later burnt the flags.
"Insulting the Prophet disgusts us and nuclear energy gives us dignity," the crowd of about 200 people shouted. The West suspects Iran of trying to build nuclear weapons.
Cheers erupted when a petrol bomb was thrown over the high wall surrounding the embassy compound in central Tehran. Several other petrol bombs struck the wall and the embassy's main gate.
Scuffles broke out between the protesters and dozens of riot police trying to prevent the crowd from surging towards the embassy gates.
Stones and firecrackers were thrown at the nearby German embassy by a smaller crowd of protesters earlier on Tuesday.
"Europe, Europe this is the last warning. Mohammad is the Prophet of compassion, America is the cause of all misery," the crowd of about 50 chanted outside the German embassy.

Even more reason why we should have printed the cartoons and had a competition for even more of them. They are going to attack us anyway, we might as well have a laugh first.
Very true, worse things happen at sea as they say...
