The legacy of Charles Clarke & David Blunkett carries on. The new Home Sec. Dr John Reid has a lot of work to do on the subject of finding and removing illegal aliens from this overcrowded nation.
Today the front page of today's Telegraph front page brought home just how out of touch with reality their civil servants can be. They quote the evidence given by the Director of Enforcement and Removals, Dave Roberts. Here are three of the questions he was asked, together with his replies:
Q. How many people are living in Britain illegally?
A. I haven't the faintest idea
Q How many failed asylum seekers are not removed?
A. I haven't got that figure.
Q How many people have been told to leave the country?
A. I don't have that information.
Nice to see that after Charles Clarke letting out 1023 barbarians from the prisons who should have been thrown out, that the home office boys and girls have been playing solitaire on the office pc rather than rounding out these people and making sure they dont create more crime.
