The State of Britain Today - Tango Security Ltd harry a man over damage valued at 4p

A man was arrested over "criminal damage" valued at 4 pence. He removes a sign that he says is on his property and the politically driven police force arrest him and after being processed keep the poor chap in the cells for five hours.

Such a shame that our police have nothing better to do than make an easy arrest of a law abiding citizen for such a minor offence. Does make you wonder what on earth has happened to common sense these days. Its not as if they have dont have proper criminals to catch, like say the remaining illegal migrants that were let out of prison rather than deported out of the UK as they should have been.

The clamping firm a bunch of amoral sharks that extort money from motorists are saying that they are going to pursue the matter. So not happy that they had their illegal sign removed from someones property they are going to harry Mr Hibbert through the legal system for some tags valued at 4p. Well if the shits at Tango Security want to harry someone they can try me for a starter. The story reposted below.

Tango Security you are a bunch of shits.

A software engineer was arrested, fingerprinted and forced to give a DNA sample, and kept in a police cell for five hours after being accused of criminal damage valued at four pence. Geoffrey Hibbert, of Farnborough, Hampshire, was detained for cutting four plastic cable ties to remove a sign that he claims was put on his property without his permission. He said that the arrest was a “complete waste of taxpayers’ money

The large yellow sign, giving warning that cars parked illegally would be clamped, was attached by Tango Security, a clamping company, to a road sign that in front of Mr Hibbert’s garden wall. Mr Hibbert cut it down, then rang Tango Security, telling it to collect its sign and six new cable ties, which he was offering in replacement for the severed ones.

Tango Security reported Mr Hibbert to the police. He refused to accept a caution and the matter was referred to the Crown Prosecution Service, which threw out the case.

A police spokesman said that the incident related to a dispute over land ownership. Tango Security said that it would pursue the matter. A spokesman for Tango Security Ltd said: Mr Hibbert removed our sign so we called police.

Once I have evidence that the land isnt his I want him rearrested"

** Nice bunch of shits at Tango Security, so here is an idea anyone who reads this e-mail the firm and tell them what you think of their piss poor attitude: info@tangosec.co.uk

And some more on the state of the UK these days:

A cyclist was attacked by an asian mob - thanks to Tottenhamlad blog for this:
"...he chased me down the road with an iron bar and hit me over the head. The next thing a gang of about five Asian lads came at me... ...the mob started kicking and punching me shouting 'kill the white bastard'..."

From Sheffield Today:
Injured cyclist slams court (2006 May 2nd)

Some more justice from the UK here: Frank Cook arrested for scaring off a dog.

When elderly farmer Frank Cook saw a neighbour's dog threatening his lambs, he would have been within his rights to shoot it dead.

Instead he fired a warning shot just behind the terrier, peppering its back leg with pellets but sparing its life.

Mr Cook, 77, says he went to the neighbour, apologised and offered to pay any vet's bill although the dog was wagging its tail and did not appear to be seriously hurt. But the neighbour said he had called the police. Full story in the Daily Mail here: police get tough on OAP farmer, aged 77. Six police cars and dozens of officers sent out to arrest him.

** Note to the New Labour government: A few days ago was the 25th anniversary of the death of Bobby Sands who was elected MP and whilst in prison starved himself to death. The first and only MP to die this way and I feel that it would be a good idea if some more MP's from the New Labour benches took a leaf from the late Mr Sands book and did the same. After all both Charles Clarke and John "2 inches" Prescott could do with losing a few stone each.

Similar things happen in the USA when we put out patriotic things in our yards or other places. There are idiots/liberals in every nation.

Says the bureaucrat Floyd Ferris: "You honest men are such a problem and such a headache. But we knew you'd slip sooner or later . . . [and break one of our regulations] . . . this is just what we wanted."
Rearden: "You seem to be pleased about it."

Bureaucrat Ferris: "Don't I have good reason to be?"

Rearden: "But, after all, I did break one of your laws."

Bureaucrat Ferris: "Well, what do you think they're there for?"

Continues bureaucrat Ferris: "Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed? We want them broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against . . . We're after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers - and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Rearden, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
