Barclays Bank - Kind Humanitarians Help Out Fairpak Victims.

So the kind corporate bods at Barclays Bank Plc have decided to give 250,000 pounds to help the poor people hit by the Farepak collapse, and who said that philanthropy was dead
. All well and good and I have to say that if it helps them get some sort of decent Christmas then thats jolly fine and good.

**Barclays, a bank staffed by Mark Benton wannabe's but without the inteligence, the humour or even the looks of that comedian. Barclays are shit.

Also it has said that it is repaying 150,000 to customers who have used its debit/credit cards to make payments to the firm, again I cant fault that either.

Mind you for Barclays to claim the credit for this is a tad rich, after all the 250K and the other 150K are in fact customers money. After all that is the basic rule with banks, that its all customers money at the end of the day. Mind you they are not slow with regards to charges for this, charges for that, charges for breathing it seems at times.

So one can say that Barclays should really be thanking its hard working customers who keep its managers and directors in a cushy lifestyle to which they have become accustomed, oh and for the large donation to the Fairpak victims.

It would be nice if Barclays Bank Plc treated its customers with as much care as they did the victims of the Fairpak fiasco, but alas there would be no nice headlines in the UK papers if they did that.

Oh if Barclays Bank Plc legal bods are reading this, this is my personal opinion, a private view and one that has nothing to do with my previous complaints of which I shall be saying nowt.
