Gordon "cyclops" Brown - Gives 10 million to childline.

The papers were full of how the one eye'd one Gordon Brown has agreed to support Childline to the tune of 10 million quid a year. Of course its all public money and not a penny of it out of the salery of MPs. Now I cant fault that he has made the donation towards a worthy cause that helps those who often see no way out of whatever situation they are in.

Yet again nice headlines of helping out abroad come before sorting out the problems at home first.

Now before the dour Scot starts patting himself on the back, one point I have to make is that they could have done this a long time back. Indeed why did our Chancellor have his eye on the ball with this one and donate the 10 million when he decided that he was going to donate 8 billion pounds of our money to the shiftless indolent barbarians in Africa.
