Yvonne Ridley - You are a joke.

Came across this post on Fortress Australia: http://fortressaustralia.blogspot.com/, and figured that I shall do my own version of that and of course who is the obvious choice but mad jihadist lover and Stockholm syndrome sufferer Yvonne Ridley.

How else can you describe someone who jokes about captives held in Iran- consider the fact that she was a captive herself of the Taliban and in classic Stockholm syndrome fashion took up their hatefull views - and she then makes light of the fact that they were taken illegally by the mad mullahs. She fawns over terrorists like the Tipton Taliban, David Hicks, John Walker Lindh and Khalis Sheik Mohammed and forgets to mention the way her heroes of Islam treat captives like Ken Bigley and Nicholas Berg.

• On George Galloways Respect party she said ""is a Zionist-free party… if there was any Zionism in the Respect Party they would be hunted down and kicked out. We have no time for Zionists"- More jew hating stuff from Ridley
  
• On mass murderer al-Zarqawi himself that she would "rather put up with a brother like Abu Musab al-Zarqawi any day than have a traitor or sell-out for a father, son or grandfather" – a reference to Jordanian royal family. - Here we see the sort of people she supports, mad bombers who kill fellow muslims.
  
• On the slaughter of children at Beslan she wrote stating that Basayev had become a "shaheed", that is, a martyr whose place in paradise is assured. She went on to refer to Basayev as leader of "an admirable struggle to bring independence to Chechnya". In response to objections that Basayev's actions killed many civilians, Ridley stated that he "resorted to targeting Russian civilians in the latter years of his struggle to try and bring the plight of the Chechen struggle to the wider world," and blamed the majority of civilian casualties on Russian troops sent in to rescue the hostages, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. - Oh and mad child killers, what a nice tolerant woman she is.

**One final point why is Yvonne Ridley still calling herself by her former infidel name? After all Cat Stephens became Yusaf Islam and most people who change names do like to call themselves by their new name. It could not have anything to do with the fact that no one would recognise her new name and the repellant liar and Stockholm syndrome sufferer would be out of the media spotlight.

Finally that bit from John Howard:

Australians should start treating controversial Muslim cleric Sheik Taj el-Din al Hilaly as "a joke", Prime Minister John Howard says.

Mr Howard also told Southern Cross Broadcasting today the sheik should be removed from his position because he brought ridicule upon the Islamic community.

The prime minister said he was untroubled by comments, attributed to the mufti in The Australian newspaper, in which the sheik said he respected Australian values more than the prime minister.

"Well, I'm tempted to say we should start treating the man as a joke and in relation to his comments about me, well I've been insulted by experts so I'm rather untroubled by them," Mr Howard said.

"But there is still a serious issue with this man - he's still holding a position of some influence and responsibility in the Islamic community and it remains important, as I've said repeatedly, for that community to remove him from any position of influence in their own interests because he is bringing ridicule upon them and I don't like that occurring."

The sheik told The Australian he had spent 50 years promoting peace and accused the prime minister of running a dictatorship.

"It's a disgrace for the leader of a democratic country to be picking on religious people, especially one who is practising a form of dictatorship that could almost be Saddam Hussein-like," Sheik Alhilali was quoted as saying.

"I respect Australian values more than he does.

"Australian people like peace and they like humanitarian welfare and they are attracted to just causes."

Labor leader Kevin Rudd today urged the government to review the sheik 's Australian citizenship following his latest remarks.

In an uncharacteristic defence of the prime minister, Mr Rudd blasted the controversial Islamic cleric, saying: "As you know, I'm not a natural supporter of the prime minister, but Mr Howard is as Australian as I am".

"The sheik is out there, I think, just seeking crazy publicity, as he seems to do on a daily basis."
