London police has since decided it was not in the public interest to press charges against Toyin Agbetu, in much the same way that they turn a blind eye to jihadist loons threatening to throw homosexuals off of roofs or anyone with an axe or can of gas to explode, except that is for the humble taxpaying motorist that is.
Yes arsehole Toyin turned up with the usual rentamob of about 200 supporters at Charing Cross police station to face the music. Where is given the token slap across the wrist, told to be a good boy and let go.

The bicentennial outburst heard around the world wasn't planned, Agbetu said yesterday from London. He'd been invited along with 2,000 guests to the national commemoration service to mark 200 years since the abolition of the slave trade act in the British colonies.
Agbetu had been very critical of the bicentennial events and had lobbied the government not to hold the commemoration. Rather, he wanted a clear apology for Britain's central role in the horrific trade of Africans.
However he forgets the fact that it was the same British Government who ended the slave trade, encouraged other nations to do likewise and stoped trade in slave in all colonies of the empire.

You use quite strong language to describe Mr. Agbetu without giving any sort of proof for your stance. For example why do you state categorically that he is a black racist? Is it racist to protest in the UK? Your article is the lowest it can get. Saying Britain ended the slave "trade" is like saying Britain ended the war in Iraq (something tell me the pun get lost in the airy maze between your ears).

First off Toyin has a problem with black MP's who do lots for his people just because they disagree with him.
Second point is that it was the British Empire who ended slavery, the other European powers followed our lead.
