Charity worker Roger Hare left for dead.

original article here.
A retired businessman told today how he was left on a life support machine after being repeatedly punched by a fellow commuter train passenger who he had politely asked to move.

Grandfather-of-three Roger Hare, 62, was hit so hard by 20-year-old Ebanezer Adesina that he fell out of the stationary train's door landing headfirst on a platform "like a falling tree or a sack of potatoes", a jury heard.

The court was told how callous Adesina looked at Mr Hare as he lay motionless and covered in blood on the platform before saying: "I fucking told you to get out of my way."

Adesina punched Mr Hare up to eight times leaving him with several fractures to his skull and bleeding on the brain, the court heard.

After the attack Adesina got off the train and stepped over Mr Hare's body and began to walk casually down the platform as if nothing had happened, the court was told.

Oliver Glasgow, prosecuting, told Southwark Crown Court that Mr Hare was travelling on the 9.22pm train from London Victoria to his home in Dulwich, south London, after meeting a friend to discuss forthcoming charity events they were organising.

He said: "Ebanezer Adesina joined the same train at Brixton and sat in a seat near to Roger Hare.

"As the train pulled into the platform at West Dulwich, Roger Hare got up from his seat and had to ask the defendant to move his legs out of the way because they were blocking the aisle.

"He asked politely, saying ‘Excuse me’. Despite this polite request, the defendant neither said anything nor made any effort to move.

“Roger Hare had little option but to push past the defendant and at this point Adesina chose to react.

“His response, however, was not that of most people, which would have been to move his legs to one side.

“He got up from his seat and he punched Roger Hare in the face without warning.

“The defendant then continued to punch Roger Hare continuously to the face and upper body, doing so with such force that the victim was forced along the aisle, toward the exit of the train.

“Having been hit several times, Roger Hare staggered back towards the open door of the train and managed to steady himself on the edge of the carriage, holding on to the handrail.

“At that point he attempted to get back on board but the defendant moved towards him and either punched or shoved him backwards with such force that he flew out through the open door, landing headfirst on the platform.

“The impact was devastating. Roger Hare’s skull was fractured in several places and there was significant bleeding to his brain.

“He was rushed to hospital where he was placed upon a life support machine for a week before he was well enough to breathe unassisted.”

Mr Hare, who is profoundly deaf, told the jury he could not remember anything about the incident.

Giving evidence from behind a screen, he told the jury: "As a direct result, I am experiencing a certain amount of stress in terms of day to day existence.

"My memory is not at all good. It is bad, I would say it’s seriously bad as a result, even now."

When asked by David Jubb, defending, if he was the sort of person who would not back down easily in a confrontation, Mr Hare replied: ”My reaction would depend on how much I felt that I was under threat, and then I would react accordingly I suppose.

“In this particular case, I would...well I don’t know what happened, you see.”

Mr Glasgow said Adesina had already pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Hare. He told the jury they must decide whether Adesina intended to cause such harm.

He said Mr Hare did nothing to provoke the ferocious attack.

Mr Glasgow said: "The defendant is described as getting to his feet with his face screwed up in anger.

“He was overheard to shout and swear at Roger Hare, saying, ‘Get out of my fucking way’, and ‘You want some’.

“The defendant used such forced that Roger Hare literally flew out of the doorway headfirst onto the platform.

“The defendant showed no concern at what he had done. As he looked at the horrified passengers, he said, ‘I’ll fuck you all up, who wants some?’

“Several of the passengers challenged him and tried to stop him.

“His response was simply to turn his head and reply, ‘Why, is he dead or something?’ and carry on walking.”

After the attack Mr Hare was given First Aid by a doctor who had been on board the train. Two days later Adesina was spotted by officers walking along a road in north London.

Initially he said nothing, however as he was put in the police car, he said: “I know what it’s about, it was just a fight on a train.”

Mr Glasgow added: “He was told not to say anything else, but he said, ‘The guy didn’t die or nothing, no’.

“Adesina attacked Mr hare without any justification at all.

“All Mr Hare had done, as the defendant saw it, was ‘get in his way’. Hardly a reason for punching him in the face.”

Adesina, of Dagenham, east London, denies causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The trial continues

**Another symptom of what ails the UK, no respect in any way shape or form for society and its rule, we have a whole underclass of people that believe that the system, everything and everyone in it is just there just for them and their immediate needs and woe betide you should you rock that believe in even the slightest way.

No doubt that after this case is over it will come to light that the accused
Ebanezer Adesina, had a record a mile long, probably even a few ASBO's as well. He will then do his time inside, be let out early and go on to bigger and better forms of crime.

If anything the victim of this attack can consider himself lucky that he was not knifed or shot to death by this feral animal.

I have said before and will say again that this is a direct result of the leftist nanny state that puts criminals needs first, over that of the victims of crime. A state that believes that those who choose not to be a part of society and work or contribute in some small way should not lose out on benefits.

A state that rewards feckless behavior, single parenthood as a valid lifestyle choice, a state that rewards the indolent, the savage and gives them all that they need. When will our society learn to say no? Until then animals like
Ebanezer Adesina will continue to attack people for the slightest of reasons.

In an ideal would this savage would have a quick meeting with someone like Albert Pierpoint followed by a long drop.
