Religion of Peace? Not according to Abd Al-Bari Atwan

Abd Al-Bari Atwan, editor-in-chief of the UK-based Arabic daily Al-Quds Al-Arabi, told a Lebanese TV interviewer he will dance in Trafalgar Square when Iran nukes Israel.

Bari Atwan is also a contributor to the BBC and Sky News, neither of whom seem to have much of a problem with this.

Bari Atwan founded the pan-Arab daily in London in 1989, and today the paper has a circulation of around 50,000. He is also a regular commentator on Sky News and BBC News 24.

Sky News refused to comment specifically on his comments.

“It is not our policy to comment on what contributors may or may not say on other channels,” said Adrian Wells, head of foreign news at Sky.

A BBC spokesman told The Jerusalem Post that editors make decisions based on the following BBC guidelines.

“We should not automatically assume that academics and journalists from other organizations are impartial and make it clear to our audience when contributors are associated with a particular viewpoint.”

Here’s the video of Bari Atwan’s fervent wish for Israel to suffer a nuclear attack, from MEMRI TV:

**Abd Al-Bari Atwan(above) a "moderate" member of Islam who plans to dance when Israel has been nuked out of existance. I am sure that lots of people myself included will dance and otherwise hoist a glass when this racist anti semitic prick shuffles off this mortal coil.

First off lets have the BBC and SKY remove this utter arse from being a contributor to their news. Sky might have the balls to get rid of him and make it clear that he is about as welcome as a dose of the clap, the BBC I fear will lack the bakcbone to do so.

Still lets hope that the next time he is in the middle east Mosad hit his car with a hellfire missile and he becomes a **car swarm

**Car Swarm -A peculiar Palestinian custom of swarming around a car which had recently held Palestinian extremists but which was then blown up by Israel in a targeted killing of the terrorists inside. Often, thousands of Palestinian men will swarm around the destroyed vehicle, looking to retreive bits of flesh from the incinerated "martyrs." The bodily remains are then paraded around in triumph.

Oh yeah sure, i'm sure they'd say the same thing if some one of their contributors were to say he'd dance in the streets if Mecca were nuked.

I'm sure they'd soon no longer require his contribution.
