From a politicans webshyte: Democracy Day Bank Holiday.

"A petition was launched to call for November 4th to be declared a Democracy Day Bank Holiday. We are due an extra one."

You what? We are all due an extra one he says. That from an MP, one of the overpaid, expense claiming fucks who can blag 91 days holiday and he has the nerve to say that we are due an extra one.

No let me correct you. We the over taxed, over fucking worked populace of these fair lands are due another bank holiday, in fact several if we are honest about it.

But do not for one fucking minute claim that you with your 91 days leave a year claim to be part of the people who actually deserve an extra day off work.

And from a government that is so insecure that it bans protest outside the mother of all Parliments and go's back on its pledges to give us a voice via a referendum on Europe the concept of a "Democracy Day Bank Holiday" is a sad fucking joke.

See if there was any damn justice the following would happen:
Expenses of MP's would be cut to the damn bone.
They would get the same holidays as the rest of us.
Their wages would be reduced by say 70% to reflect the amount of work that a/ they actually do and b/ the amount of work with regards lawmaking that is done via the EU these days.

Until that fine day, any MP who claims to be one of us can just fuck off.

So if MP's think for one second that by tossing an extra day to the plebs, a token bit of noblesse largess that we will respect them any more they are sadly mistaken.
