Frying tonight...Well said TB Bechtel

T. B. Bechtel, a part-time City Councilman from Midland, TX was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought of the allegations of torture of the Iraqi prisoners. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

"If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner's private parts to a car's battery cables will save one Texas GI's life, then I have just two things to say:"

"Red is positive"
"Black is negative"

**Well said that man.

This is the essence of a civilized society.

Some of us are horrified when bad people are treated brutally; others of us are horrified when good people are treated brutally.

Maybe that should be the real issue in this year's election. What do you think?

So long as rags get fried to get information who cares?...

This was a hoax. It was said by a comedian, not a councilman. Why do some people insist upon sending out false stories - is it to foment anger and hostility and prejudice? Worse yet, why do others believe it and forward it on to others without checking it out first?
