The homeless, not a problem according to Paul Flynn MP.

And just in time for Christmas my local "socialist" MP, the lying cunt and grade a shit water of the first order Paul Flynn decides to have a bash at the homeless. See according to Mr Flynn the overpaid twat that lives in his own fantasy world the homeless problem is somewhat exaggerated.

Yes he seems to think - an at his age I use the word lightly - that not that many people are without a place to call home, an easy illusion for one of our overpaid, over indulged MP's to believe. Still maybe he should take a look at the Shelter website, after all they deal and support the homeless, all two of them according to the lunatic Flynn!

So I thought I would see what Shelter had to say, they define being homeless like this(Copied from the Shelter website):

You don't have to be sleeping on the streets to be classed as homeless. You might also be legally homeless if you are:

• temporarily staying with friends or family
• staying in a hostel or bed and breakfast
• living in very overcrowded conditions
• at risk of violence or abuse in your home
• living in poor conditions that affect your health
• living somewhere that you have no legal right to stay in (eg. a squat)
• living somewhere that you can't afford to pay for without depriving yourself of basic essentials
• forced to live apart from your family, or someone you would normally live with, because your accommodation isn't suitable.

If you ask the council for help, it will look into your situation to see if it has a legal responsibility to help you as a homeless person.

The Homelessness problem in our capital city is tiny. The number of rough sleepers has shrunk to a third of what it was in 1997. The homeless charities have increased to at least double the size and funding in that time.

The core problems of the rough sleepers are rarely lack of housing. Nearly all have been in secure accommodation. The problems are addictions to drink or drugs, family ostracism and mental health problems. None of these problems will be reduced by the army of soup kitchens that descend on the capital’s centre every winter night.

There has been a lot of well-informed support for the plea by councillor Angela Harvey for the 50 soup invading soup kitchens from as far away as 50 miles to stay out of the centre. That’s one soup kitchen for two homeless. Mrs Harvey says she sees up to 80 people queuing up – few of them are homeless. Free food has a wider appeal. She said, “You see them going off with large carrier bags stuffed full of food which is for them and their house mates. We know they are in work and housed."

So a not to sutle dig that it was worse under the Tories and a re-writing of the figures to show that all is well under the New Labour yoke. I am sure that should Mr Flynn and the good councillor Harvey take a look around they will be able to spot many a genuine homeless person according to Shelters explanation of the terms.

Again how do they know that these people work, have they asked or is this some more New Labour spin on the situation.

The cynical view that soup kitchens are just there for the feckless scroungers, that it is an embarrassment to the government and party, so must be driven away. Truly New Labour have become the party of immorality of the worst type.

Sure there may well be a few people who are taking the piss, but how does councillor Harvey & Flynn know they are homeless? Has they asked or just assumed?

Having been "homeless" myself at one point and having to sleep at mates houses until I was able to sort out my situation, I was lucky to have a mate or three willing to help out. Others are not so lucky.

Still what does New Labour or Mr Flynn and his party care? After all the homeless are not likely to vote and so according to New Labour its a case of fuck them.

I really hate being patronized by a worthless libel case loser, a liar and man who having "worked" his entire life in politics now has no idea about what things are like in the real world outside of Westminster.

Maybe Mr Flynn can explain quite why there are so many people who I speak to who sell the Big Issue magazine- a magazine sold by homeless people here in the UK - who tell me that they are homeless - if they are all liars or not? Maybe Flynn could donate some of the 10% extra pay he and the other overpaid cunts that pass themselves off as MP's are soon to be getting as part of their undeserved wage increase, to help the homeless, oh sorry I forgot according to him its not a problem.
