News broken by Guido - that Peter "pitch ripper" Hain has failed to register donations undermines his position as a minister and member of the Cabinet. Oh and here is one more dodgy donation.
He is in charge of theDepartment of Work and Pensions, a department that is running a tv campaign about benefits fraud. To claim an error the first time, well okay that happens, its stupidity but it happens.
Then a week later to admit that he had "forgotten" about others when remembering makes him look more inept. Thick might be a better word, I am not sure if this is a deliberate plan to deceive on his part, in fact I think that he lacks the brain power to deceive in the way that other people in New Labour can, its more a case of his level of stupidity coming to the fore.
Things must seem so much easier in the past, when one needed money it was just a case of pulling an armed robbery and then blaming the South African intelligence agents claiming its a stitch up job.
Lets just hope that the days of our very own Tango man are numbered. Meanwhile local thick MP, proven liar & libelist Paul Flynn leaps to Tango mans defence on his daily read my shit blog. Why am I not surprised...
Let's call this "administrative error" what it really is: a criminal act.
He is reviewing all donations and apologised for the "extremely regrettable" events.Mr Hain last week admitted he had failed to register a £5,000 donation from Labour's chief fundraiser Jon Mendelsohn. In a statement, he said he had been to see the Electoral Commission to inform them that further donations to his campaign were not registered as they should have been. He added: "I am preparing a full declaration to the Electoral Commission.
**But the best part of this, the sweetest bit of all is the fact that so many Liebour MP's are being caught out on donations, hung up on the very laws they themselves brought in to catch the nasty Tories. More when I stop laughing at their misfortune...
