MUSLIM women are to be sent on leadership and assertiveness courses to help to prevent Islamic extremism.

In an attempt to stop young Muslims being seduced by Al-Qaeda, women will be sent on training courses designed for FTSE 100 managers to give them the skills and confidence to confront fanatics.

Amid fears that extremists are becoming more sophisticated in their recruitment, Hazel Blears, the communities secretary, has concluded that a key way to stop extremist ideas further permeating Muslim communities is to give “the silent majority” a stronger voice.

She is to publish a good practice guidance document which will say that “resilient communities can only exist where women are playing a full and active part”.

**Blah blah fucking blah. Was it not the same New Labour who stated that terror was nothing to do with Islam, that it was just the "radicals" and the one eye'd Goblin King, the cunt supreme, El Gordon Brown stated that there shall be no more referring to the War on Terror.

Maybe Labour would care to explain their backtrack and do they still stand by their previous statements that terror has little if anything to with Islam and if so, then would they explain to Hazel that she has lost the plot.

Maybe that 70 million quid would be better spent on either the intelligence services or on enforcing our boarder controls. Spin and hype and what's the odds that yet another bloody unelected quango gets set up to "oversee" the 70 million budget.
