Nicholas Soames MP

Well Paul Flynn is happy as he can cast stones at Nicholas Soames MP, as he quotes from his webshyte:
Filmed driving the quad bike and trailer bearing no registration plate contrary to the Road Traffic Act and illegally loaded with five adults and several unrestrained children

Oh no, oh where will it end the ed of civilization. Breaking the road traffic act, well that has got to be worth than former New Labour PM's starting wars based on dubious dossiors? Or does that apply just to the Liebour Party?

As proven liar and libelist Flynn also states:

A spokesman for West Sussex Wildlife Protection, which monitors the Crawley and Horsham hunt for offences under the Hunting Act, said: "Initially we heard Nicholas Soames was on a quad bike that was overloaded. We thought nothing of it, because with his considerable bulk this was quite likely. However we were astonished to see him on a public road just north of his home at Bells Farm, Slaugham, West Sussex, with several unrestrained young children and adults racing along on a quad bike with no registration plate. He was desperate to keep up with the hunt and seemed unworried if the children lost their teeth on the metal rim of his quad bike trailer."

Well thats grand, but what would we rather? Someone like Soames who admits there errors and is willing to take take a fine for breaking the law, or someone like plea bargain Flynn who cops a plea knowing his guilt in a desperate attempt to keep his position as an MP at the last minute.

Had he believed in his statements, he would have fought that in court rather than copping a plea bargain. So in effect he sold himself out, saved his career for mere £30+ fine, rather than risk jail and losing his seat.

A man who has shown no remorse for the slanders he fired at the company, who took down his apology as soon as he could and sold out his principles pleading guilty to libel and so avoiding a criminal conviction thus keeping himself as a self serving MP.

On the one hand we have Soames a descendant of Churchill and Marlborough men who saved the nation. On the other we have plea bargain Flynn. A bitter man who is the first to cast stones and yet lacks the backbone to stand for his principles.

At least Soames has admitted his error and shown remorse, unlike proven liar and libel case loser Flynn.
