Hero Ben McBean gets MRSA in NHS hospital.

A story that shows all to clearly quite how our society is falling apart at the seams. Despite this governments claims on spending billions more than ever on the NHS, we get stories like this.

Had we a government worthy of the name, hell had we a government that did anything except rubber stamp dictates from the EU they would look into how this had happened and attempt to resolve it.

Would that we had a PM that would take responsibility, actually show some courage, rather than just use that word as the title for his book. Alas we are stuck with bottler Brown in charge, although that is a misnomer as to be in charge you actually have to make decisions and take responsibility for your actions.

Both of which are sadly missing from Brown, his government and the various cloned ministers in it.

A Royal Marine praised for his bravery by Prince Harry has contracted MRSA, according to reports.

Ben McBean reportedly flew back from Afghanistan with the prince after losing an arm and a leg in a Taliban mine explosion.

The 21-year-old from Plymouth was initially treated at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, but is now a patient at Headley Court, a rehab centre for members of the Armed Forces.

A Selly Oak Hospital spokeswoman said he did not contract an infection there.

The Royal British Legion has called for soldiers to be treated separately from civilians.

A spokesman said: "We believe servicemen should be treated in partnership with the NHS - but in a military environment on a designated ward. This may well remove the MRSA problem."

He added: "Military wards are better both in terms of treatment and surroundings. That was the original deal when the Government closed military hospitals, so that is what we expect them to uphold."

**Lets hope he recovers soon and shame on this government for their disgusting treatment of our troops in filth covered hospitals.

Except the usual platitudes about attempting to clear up MRSA, spending more money than the Tories and comments about closing stable doors after horses have bolted.

Sadly government is like business in some ways, a dim do-nothing manager at the top that is totally incapable of doing the job has an adverse effect on the business being run. One only has to look at the poor standards here in the UK to lay the blame firmly at the door of No.10 and a certain Mr Gordon Brown.

I've read three posts this evening alone about such things - it is quite frankly appalling.

And still nothing will be done, except Labour party members, supporters and MP's will claim the NHS is better than any time ever in history.

Who gives a fuck about a few thousand peoples lives when there are polls to massage?
