"Another such victory over the Romans and we are undone."

I am still happily gloating in the utter failure of New Labour in the council elections, chuckling at their denial that its anything to do with them and their dire policies, that it has to do with ten totally wasted years that has seen this nation reduced to a vassal state in the EU.

They blame Iraq, Tony Blair, Afghanistan, the credit crunch, America in fact anything rather than looking inward to see the real cause of their failure.

But what I find to be truly satisfying is their trumpeting of councilors, the few that they managed to get in - many with reduced majorities - as some sort of victory.

Indeed local liar and libel case losing MP Paul Flynn is typical of this, he has attacked the new Tory councilors with comments like "Short and pigeon chested, like most of new Tory councillors", all typical New Labour fare.

All the better I say, let them keep the embittered old queen in No. 10. The people of this nation did not vote for him, he was handed the job by Blair. Let them stay in denial of the facts, the longer the better in my view.

As King Pyrrhus is claimed to have said after the phyrric wars "Another such victory over the Romans and we are undone." - This late king who's victories cost him the war, can be compared to our dire PM Gordon Brown.

Some reports say that king Phyrrhus was poisoned by a servant, I wonder if Charles Clarke or some other New Labour MP is awaiting in the wings with the Hemlock....

After a crushing loss - the five stages that follow are:

1) Denial
2) Anger
3) Bargaining
4) Depression
5) Acceptance

As we can well see where they are at the moment - and ACCEPTANCE will come after the 2010 elections - Pretty soon Gordy's about to become the subject of some New Liebour anger then.

Oh Goody!!!

Just watched the inept Kebab glutton, Jacqui Smith, as ever in touch with the thoughts of our Nation:

And I quote:

"We completely understand what "OUR" voters have done" - "They have given Gordon Brown a kick up the backside and told him in no uncertain terms, that they need him to lead"

WELL SHE READ MY MIND!!!!

Perhaps she should pick up a copy of the Oxford English, and understand the differences between the adjectives: "Lead" and "Leave"
