Stuck on Linux and everything now working sweet - lost some stuff but such is life, nothing worth getting annoyed about to be fair.
Still glad it happened on a Sunday rather than on a work day!
Have to admit that I find the look and feel of Linux to be a lot nicer than that of Windows XP, besides at least it works unlike Vista!

They're both playing up though...
I had Linux before but made the sad mistake of thiking that XP had improved, several crashes and lost data later I realise that is as shit as it ever was.
So linux it is for me.
By the screenshot you're using Fedora, I refer Ubuntu.
Linux is great, does everything I need expect from playing games and the infrequent browsing of porn for strictly educational purposes of course.
Agree anon, we all use it for research reasons! :-)
