Then we have the tales of"character assassination", although there is not much character to assassinate to be fair.
Labour's chief tax rebel, Frank Field spoke of the Prime Minister's "tempers of an indescribable nature" and said it was clear to everyone that Mr Brown was not happy in the job.
Mr Field said today he would be very surprised if Mr Brown was still the leader of the party in two years' time.
He said he needed no persuading that the Prime Minister could be "testy" and "go off like a bloody volcano", as described by Mr Prescott.
The former welfare reform minister told the BBC World Service: "They are just tempers of indescribable nature."
He added that Mr Brown would shout "in a rage".
But Mr Field said people would not judge him on the memoirs that were now being published but on the way Mr Brown currently appeared to the public.
"The awful fact that's coming across is that he's so unhappy in himself," he said.
"I think everybody in the country who's watched a news clip with the Prime Minister on recognises that."
He said it was a "tragedy" given Mr Brown's lifelong ambition to reach Number 10.
"Somebody whose real aim in life was to be prime minister, now has the task and seems to be so lacking in enjoyment in trying to carry it out," he went on.
Mr Field said the next election would almost certainly be at the latest possible opportunity in two years' time.
"I would be very surprised if he's still the leader of the Labour Party then and therefore leading us into the election campaign," he added. He urged Mr Brown to talk to loved ones and act on their advice."
Frank would be a good leader for Labour, sadly he has one fatal flaw that means this will never happen. He is honest in his beliefs, I may not agree with all he says but unlike the rest of that shower he has some principles.
Then we have Mrs Blair in her new book, talking about Gordon throwing tantrums and leaking news to the media:Cherie Blair has indicated in her biography that Mr Brown may have leaked news that she was pregnant with her fourth child.
In Speaking For Myself Mrs Blair says only a small number of people, including then chancellor Mr Brown, knew she was pregnant with Leo.
But the news still leaked to a newspaper editor.
"I was sure it couldn't have come from the hospital," she says in the book.
"The scan had been registered under a different name and they hadn't put me on the computer. There was always Gordon — but what could he possibly have to gain?"
Whilst Lord Levy is claiming that Mr Brown must of known about all the cash in the cash for honours affair....Not a happy day to be Mr Brown, still he deserves all he gets and more.
2 people have spoken:
Id like to empathize with Gordo's plight, but alas, I wont, as I can't stand the dour fucker either.
Can we not prize him out of his job, with all the finesse of a fucking Auschwitz dentist?
His own party will get rid of him the moment MP's fear for re-election. Its just weeks away I think...
