Alan Milburn MP - 11 years to late.

Alan Milburn told a charity conference in London that the Government must shrink the size of the state and called for measures to improve social mobility, including "cutting taxes for the low paid." He said:

"The old top down approach to governance will no longer work. It is not just that the public have reached the limits of what they will pay in taxes, although they have. People in low and middle income families are under pressure and feeling the pinch."

Well Alan, its to fucking late matey boy. Seriously you had your chance to stand against Gordon and pissed it away. Yet now, with record poll lows for Labour, strikes and so much more going wrong in government on a daily basis you decide to act like a humanitarian!

You make me sick you survile little cunt.

But your real reason for acting like you care is here:
Mr Milburn said that to remain in power, Labour must shrink the state and give away more power to local communities.
To remain in power, the main point of Labour. Fuck taxes, fuck the poor, fuck their pain so long as Mr Milburn is in a cushy job.

For eleven fucking years the taxes have gone up, standards on public services have gone down and you an the rest of the New Labour lot have sat back and patted each others backs on a fucking marvelous job. Now all of a sudden it is "Lets play the nice guys" - feel the pain of the working man and woman, depsite having caused much of it over 11 years of fuckwittery.

You said "The old top down approach to governance will no longer work," - So I take it from that Alan that you are against the state deciding on governance then?

So why vote for the 42 days bill then? Maybe its the old authoritarian streak coming out....

Oh and why if you are such a humanitarian Mr Milburn did you vote for the ID cards bill, a huge waste of time and money, a bill that will add to the snooping on our people, employ more state employees and help to push up taxes.

You say about smaller government yet your own actions in voting for ID cards push for bigger government, so what are you going to cut? What departments get the axe? Lets get some figures? What taxes should be axed?

Will you produce them?

Or is it like so many of your socialist type that you are all smoke and mirrors.

**On top of his wage as an MP, Alan in the financial year 2006/07 trousered a cool £160,888 in expenses. Thus giving him the perfect understanding of the workers on less than say £20K per year.
