The first wave of ID cards to be issued to British citizens has prompted airline pilots to threaten a strike rather than accept the documents.
Aviation workers have warned that proposals to make airport staff register for the cards from next year would do little to improve security. The British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa), which represents 10,000 of the 12,000 commercial pilots and flight engineers in Britain, said its members were being treated as "guinea pigs". Jim McAuslan, Balpa's general secretary, said the Government's "early warning system should be flashing" over opposition to the plans.
Well done to them, one in the eye for that cunt Gordon Brown, a man who makes me so angry I could punch his lights out.

Good on BALPA, let's hope this is not the last kick back in the teeth for new labour and their "they will never fight back" philosophy on chucking things down our throats. It's about time these deluded fuckwits found out about the REAL level of hatred that this country holds against them
The first of many many strikes against this tedious little card that is going to cost us all fucking billions.
Of course our vile one eyed despot will fight this decision every inch of the way, spunking millions in the way of tax payers hard earned, to help aid his odious, yet well oiled new Labour machinery.
