UK - Home for terrorists & open door policy on illegal migrants

** The other day we had some Zanu New Labour clone saying that we should offer an amnesty to the illegals living in the UK, as our government makes little if any effort to kick out the ones already in the UK it does seem a bit pointless giving them an amnesty.

We had the usual bleating about how we dont know where they are - nice to see that the government is keeping track of people who come in on short term visas or in the back of vans and the like; and how it would be impossible to remove half a million of so people.

Well no its not impossible just requires that the immigration service do what we pay them to do in the first place. As for the bleading heart arguement that they have lived here for a long time, have children well thats their problem for coming here illegally and breaking UK laws by doing so in the first place. They always have the option of taking their children back with them.

The other arguement is that they add to the economy, that would be the black economy where they pay no tax and get involved with crime as a result.

The El Beeb News just carried a report on Jack Dromey's comments proposing an amnesty for illegal immigrants. They described him as a 'senior union official', conveniently forgetting the fact that he is also Treasurer of the Labour Party. An error on the part of our beloved state broadcaster I can hardly believe it!

And in todays papers was this: More than 230 terrorists free to stay in Britain

MORE than 230 foreigners identified by MI5 and Scotland Yard as suspected terrorists have been allowed to stay in Britain as asylum seekers.

Home Office records show that nearly a quarter of the 963 people arrested in counter-terrorism operations in England and Wales since September 2001 have claimed refugee status, saying their human rights would be violated if they returned to countries such as Algeria, Iraq and Somalia.

While their applications are processed, all are entitled to state benefits such as free housing and legal aid to pursue their claims that they would be persecuted in their home countries.

As bad as illegal immigration is here in my home (USA), they are much worse in your home (UK) and in the home of your neighbors there in Europe.

The answer is NOT to give them amnesty. The answer is to enforce laws presently on the books, to pass new laws as needed, and to punish the employers who hire the illegals. If no jobs are available, some will either leave or not come into the country to begin with.

The others should be denied social services and get off the dole of the hard working legal citizens.

And yes, they CAN be deported, it would just take effort on the officials to do it.

Not likely to happen under the government we have, they would rather hand out dole to the natives who are lazy rather than forcing them to work and bring in illegals to fill the jobs the natives dont want to do.
