Keith Wilmot Chorlton - Being Investigated. Dial/Yes Loans

Yep seems that all the media coverage into Yes Loans and its leader - disqualified director Keith Wilmot Chorlton, a man who been barred from holding a directorship due to fraud - has finally paid off.

The company I have been informed is under investigation by the DTI Companies Investigation Branch, this uses powers under the Companies Act 1985 to look into companies that are not complying with the law, directors who should not be directors(yeah thats you Keith) and such like.

Well they need only look at their own records to see that Yes Loans took there merry time in filing the companies accounts in with Companies House.

But it gets better for Chorlton and co, seems that the FSA(Financial Services Authority) will be popping in for a chat sometime in March - I have been told the 18th but may be wrong on that. This may just be an informal check on things- yeah right and pigs might be flying, but after all those complaints on tv programs like X-Ray who knows?

Maybe Keith will be packing his bluetooth headset away and flying off to a non extradition country. I hear that Turkish North Cypress is good this time of year. Although maybe Iran would be better as there are no pubs for Keith to get into fights in... Oh don't leave Alan Spedding behind to face the music, I am sure you can afford another one way ticket to some alien nation.

Mind someone advised me that not being able to work his Sat-Nav will be the least of Keiths problems then....

**Update (1st March2007) passed on all info I have to the FSA, after all if they are popping down for a chat and some tea and choccy biscuits I feel that they should know that the "advisor" Keith Wilmot(he hates being called that) Chorlton is a convicted criminal, a barred director and that Yes Loans has been featured on BBC consumer affairs program X-Ray.
** Oh I have also noticed that a Google search for "Yes Loans" brings up the X-Ray site(links below) and also the review page on Blagger.com - both on the first page, so hopefully that will reduce the number of people getting ripped off by Yes Loans.
