Political Correctness- The Decline of the UK/Cardiff Bus ban paint & Beer Warnings

Every day we get more warnings over things that will kill us, one of the latest is the idea of health warnings on beer - more on that later...

But it seems that not satisfied with prying into every aspect of our lives the uberstate has now decided that a pensioner can not carry a tin of paint on a Cardiff bus. The article below is from pcwatch

The saddest part about this whole saga is not the petty pen pusher in some government office who decided that paint was a new form of WMD and so must be banned from buses, but the fucking waste of time twat cunt of a driver who was such a mean spirited cunt of an arsewipe that he actually

a/ had remembered that this minor rule existed
b/ was such a bastard cunt of a jobsworth that he removed a pensioner from his bus.

In fact Cardiff Bus as the article states said: “We apologise to Mr Heale for the obvious inconvenience caused. The safety of our passengers is our No 1 priority, which is why the company takes regulations on health and safety very seriously.” The company admitted, however, that there were times when it needed to display a little more flexibility when enforcing the rules.

Indeed maybe Cardiff Bus company should get that twat of a driver to apologise to the pensioner(or better still fire the bastard) who aged 73 and an ex RAF veteran has done more for this nation that some bus driver ever will. In fact from looking at the above statement the driver could have decided that he was a human being an looked the other way well some harmless OAP took his WMD, sorry paint home rather than being a total wanker cunthead and using his position of power as a mini hitler bus driver to push around Mr Heale.

Thankfully there is still some humanity - although not at Cardiff Bus it appears - as Mr Heale managed to get home thanks to a good samaritan who gave him a lift. As someone who travels to Cardiff quite often I shall make a point of not using Cardiff Bus, so they can also say that as well as enforcing petty regulations that they have lost a customer.

** Back to beer, a subject close to both my heart and that of people everywhere. The government has been mumbling loudly about "health warnings" on beer that would be similar to that seen on cigarette packets. Now as someone who remembers being able to buy a packet of smokes before they were plastered with huge labels warning that cigerettes cause all of the worlds evil upon and including global warming(probably) I can say that I know of not one person who has given up because of those warnings.

We would see these warnings in pubs, off licences and supermarkets. Now when you look at a bottle or can we already have the percentage made clear and yes as adults we know that drinking to much can:

a/ make us ill
b/ get us an £80 fine if pulled in by pc plod

So why are they doing this? We already have lots of info available in the pub, only the other day I saw a beermat showing the number of units in different drinks. One government source stated that there was a problem with underage drinking, well if thats the case maybe the government had best ensure they cant buy the beer and enforce already existing laws and actually fine the parents of said underage drinkers. And a good bit on this here: timesonline

Still this is what we have come to expect from this shower of a government, a group of spivs out to feather their own nests whilst dreaming up more and more taxes and petty regulations to enforce on the rest of us.

Only the other day we had Mr Blobby, sorry Charles Clarke saying that he was going to be getting tough on people on parole (yes heard that all before matey - anyone remember Blairs going to claim the streets back campaign? Still waiting on that one...) whilst with the other hand saying that he was going to cut the amount of money people get if the state bangs them up in error. All to save about 5 million, hell cut John Prescotts pie allowance and you could give those poor people more money not less, or better still cut back on some of the 9 billion plus that cyclops Brown our PM in waiting has promised to educate Africa. Just a shame that this government has failed in its job to educate the youth of the UK. More on the talentless Charles here

** Finally the bit from PC Watch about the cunt of a driver who (cue German accent here) - was only following orders.

With every day that passes the world seems to go increasingly mad. It has just gone particularly bonkers on a Cardiff bus. In a vivid demonstration that who really runs Britain is not the Government, the Civil Service, big business nor Labour Party donors but the health and safety police, a man has been thrown off the No 9 service from Heath Hospital via city centre to Prospect Place for carrying a tin of paint. There are some items that it is inadvisable to carry on a Cardiff bus, such as an England rugby shirt. And there are some that are forbidden, such as guns, swords, gas cylinders or cans of petrol. But when Brian Heale got on board with his purchase for a DIY job at home he found that “antique cream” emulsion had been added to the list of undesirable luggage.

Mr Heale, 73, an RAF veteran who suffers shortness of breath after a heart attack, could not manage the 20-minute walk from the paint shop to his home in the Leckwith district of the city so, naturally, he caught the bus. But the driver caught Mr Heale in the act of carrying a can of emulsion and ordered him off. “When he told me I couldn’t take the paint on the bus I thought he was joking. But he parked the bus and called head office. He told me carrying the paint was against new health and safety regulations and told me to get off,” Mr Heale said yesterday. “It’s crazy and hysterical. Next thing, you won’t be able to take a wet umbrella on in case it drips water on the floor. Health and safety rules are one thing but this is just daft; it was a No 9 bus not a dangerous building site.”
Ejected on to the rainy street, Mr Heale took shelter in a cafe and ordered a cup of tea to steady his nerves. There the manager took pity on him and gave Mr Heale, and his paint, a lift home.

New health and safety rules governing public transport do indeed list paint as a “hazardous article”. It can be taken on the bus only if it is “carried in two containers, ie, a sealed pot and a bag, and is not left unattended on a parcel shelf where it could slide and tip, burst open and spread across the floor”.
Cardiff Bus admitted that it may have been a little hard on Mr Heale. A spokesman said: “We apologise to Mr Heale for the obvious inconvenience caused. The safety of our passengers is our No 1 priority, which is why the company takes regulations on health and safety very seriously.” The company admitted, however, that there were times when it needed to display a little more flexibility when enforcing the rules.
More examples of loony British safety regulations:
Paper napkins being handed out with meals-on-wheels in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, were suspended by the council after fears that pensioners and disabled people might choke on them
After a woman caught her foot in the new doors at BBC Birmingham the corporation issued a memo “Revolving Security Door User Instructions”, advising staff on how to use a revolving door
Police called to investigate a broken stained-glass window at a church in Rochdale in March 2005 refused to inspect the damage because they did not have specialist “ladder training”
Moscow State Circus was warned in July 2003 that any acrobat performing at a height above that of the average stepladder would have to wear a hard hat or risk losing its insurance cover
Plans to chop down 20 horse chestnut trees were announced by Norwich City Council because it claimed that passers-by risked head injuries from sticks thrown up by children to knock down conkers.
Gardeners working for Cheltenham council, in Gloucestershire, were banned from planting pansies under town centre trees because workers digging with trowels risked spraining their wrists in the root-filled soil

JACK "man of" STRAW - Sells planes and protects torture suspects.

If anyone has any doubts left over the Nu Labour spivs sinking ever lower into the dirt to rut and roll in the shit, then check out this: http://muttawa.blogspot.com/
Yes seems that being a good dhimmi jew has paid off for Jack "man of" Straw, as the UK has landed a 10 billion deal with the Saudi government for lots of Eurofighter planes. In return for the cushy deal our bunch of spivs are fighting in the courts that officials who commit torture abroad can not be tried in UK courts.

Yep Saudi officials who its claimed tortured citizens of the UK and our government is fighting to protect the very people accused of torture. Jack Straw dhimmi whore through and through.

The full article is here take a few minutes to read as its very good and remember that when the local elections come up later this year.

Some earlier bit I did on Jack "man of" Straw - Jack Straw - dhimmi

Well Jacks done it a 2nd Jens Byskov dhimmi award - the original award here
in fact Mr Straw even makes Jens Byskov look like he has a backbone. Lets just hope Jack dies soon and in great pain. Our own foreign minister turning his back on the abuse of our citizens for a few pieces of silver. Well £10 billion actually, the man even puts Judas to shame. Total cunt of the first order.

But no I am not finished with this Judas of a man, our Jack ever the one to improve relations with other nations has saying that he wants to have normal relations with Hamas. Yes the ones who wont recognise Israel and even talking of unfreezing aid to the Palestinians. Oh and lets not forget his comments on Israel stating last month that Israel's nuclear deterrence is on a par with Iran's nuclear jihad ambitions

Maybe he should look up the word Judenrein as should Iran get the bomb and Hamas be given the message that its okay kill jews by unfreezing assets thats what he is helping to create.

Britain wants to have "normal relations" with Hamas and is seeking means of unfreezing millions of pounds worth of aid to Palestinians, Jack Straw said yesterday, in a striking softening of tone. ...

Mr Straw, speaking in Riyadh, said Hamas had to meet three international demands - renounce violence, recognise Israel and accept previous peace agreements signed by the Palestinian Authority. But he appeared to be interpreting these conditions with great leniency.

"Hamas now leads the government and we would like to have normal relations with them as we have had with previous governments," he said. "This requires movement by them as well as by us."
