Boycott Yes Loans

The dire financial company Yes loans is a total disgrace to the finance sector, even by the low standards of this sector it has to be said that Yes Loans stoops to a new low.

Having been exposed in The Mirror, on the BBC's consumer program X-Ray and had other articles written about them, some how this dire company manages to stay in business and carrys on robbing customers.

The deliberately target what they call the subprime market(in effect the poor)- with impaired or low credit ratings who may find it difficult to obtain finance from traditional sources. - , people who can least afford to deal with a company like Yes Loans.

One amazing point about Yes Loans is its director a chap called Keith Wilmot Chorlton, a man who has committed fraud, served time in prison and is barred from holding a directorship until 2010. He refers to himself and is called an "advisor" but you have to ask the obvious question of what sort of financial company would knowingly employ a man with a criminal record?

Above we see a chap called Alan Paul Spedding, a profesional spiv(yes he has got braces) and also featured in the Daily Mail bit.

But getting back to what they do, well to be honest very little for desperate consumers. They charge £49.50 and for that you become a client of Yes Loans. As a client of Yes Loans they claim to look for a loan for you, something that anyone with internet access can do for themselves for far less than £49.50. What you recieve is a sample rate, but they often offer a loan with a far higher apr% rate than that sample loan you recieve through the post.

Even when they can't fix you a loan you still get stiffed by Yes Loans, after all Keith Wilmot Chorlton has to make his money some how. They charge you £5.00 admin and so after a lengthy six month wait you get back £44.50.

Oh they also have a major problem with the telephone systems and apparently once someones details are on their database they keep getting calls from Wilmot and Co. Mind you one can only assume that Companies House are not on their mailing list as it took Keith ages to return his forms to them...
