There is a tv advert doing the rounds at the moment that is supposed to make all the cold hearted pirates out there feel so sorry about their dubious deeds in ripping off the multi billion pound entertainment industry.
What I would like to know is who exactly is paying for this advert? Is the government wasting yet more of our money on this, to "protect" the interests of very large companies who are more than able to fund their own adverts.
Mind you if it is government funded or not I can't see it affecting the average bloke who picks up a few cheapo dvd's off the back of a van.
Anyway off to burn some music and download a film, enjoy!

Would someone explain to me why there is a monkey with a white woman at the front singing at the white man? It is disgusting to be honest. Typical racism against the white man, If knock off nigel was black on the other hand there would be an uproar of how racist it is.
And... ironically, this ad itself has completely ripped off - stolen wholesale - the song in the David Bowie episode of Extras.
So, according to this advert, its ok to steal from other media then...

The ads are back - now "Knock-off Nigel" downloads knock-off films.
I really wish to god they'd stop trying to equate this with theft. There's a world of difference.
The ad is funded by Universal Pictures International - no surprise there ay.
I didn't realise you could download videos for nothing, till I saw the Knock-off Nigel adverts on the telly.
I am really grateful they told me. Now I can download whatever I want for free. It will save me a fortune. I must remember to tell all my mates.
