The head of the Catholic Church in Mozambique has told the BBC he believes some European-made condoms are infected with HIV deliberately.
Maputo Archbishop Francisco Chimoio claimed some anti-retroviral drugs were also infected "in order to finish quickly the African people".
The Catholic Church formally opposes any use of condoms, advising fidelity within marriage or sexual abstinence.
Archbishop Chimoio told our reporter that abstention, not condoms, was the best way to fight HIV/Aids.
"Condoms are not sure because I know that there are two countries in Europe, they are making condoms with the virus on purpose," he alleged, refusing to name the countries.
"They want to finish with the African people. This is the programme. They want to colonise until up to now. If we are not careful we will finish in one century's time."
**More religious lunacy, not to mention deep seated paranoia on his part. No doubt he will be on tv spouting his bizarre conspiracy theory's at some point, maybe they could slot him in with David Icke and former spy David Shayler.
I am sure that the Archbishop will get on well with fellow buckra basher Trevor Phillips

Just another thick and stupid African trying to think. Why are they all so stupid and pig ignorant? Just look at Mugabe, thick as pig $hit! Africa will always be a Hell Hole so long as you have Africans trying to run it.
True, you here comments like that about Aids and you think WTF? Sad thing is he really does believe that europeans want to exterminate the Africans and take over.
I would love to meet him and correct him on that point, we will always need to have the Africans there:
Who is going to mow the lawn, clean the pool, serve the drinks and all the other menial work that needs doing?
Personally I wouldn't trust a stupid African to mow the lawn (after all how else will he feed his family once the grass is cut?) He's too darn stupid to do the rest of the chores. He's far better sitting under a tree with his hand held out for loose change.
