Fuel Protests - New Labour contempt

The fuel protests over pump prices have started again. Small in number they may be and ignored by those in power they most definitely will be. Come on its New Labour, when have they ever listened to protesters, which considering that they started out fighting for workers rights is an irony in of itself.

Anyone who uses a car is paying a vast amount of tax straight to No.10, and even those who do not pay through higher prices passed on to the consumer each time the prices at the pump go up.

Sadly a few people think that this protest is the domain of the petrolhead, the car fanatics and Jeremy Clarksons of the world. It should be of interest to all of us.

Some Labour MP's including my own senile MP and libel case loser Paul Flynn have mocked the protesters numbers. Well fair enough there is an apathy in this nation to all matters political, mostly due to the corruption and high handed manner, hell fucking contempt with which the public is treated with regards their concerns. Maybe Flynn does not drive a large vehicle himself and so not use that much petrol, who knows maybe he has a "one stroke" engine?

The very fact that they mock people who believe that taxes are to high, claim that they are irrelevant etc merely shows how out of touch New Labour have become, when compared to the grass roots activists who stood up for workers rights over 100 years ago.

The party of the working man has become the party of raking in tax off of the working man.

Hell one of the biggest boosts to business would be a lowering of fuel duties across the board, but instead we are going to see business hit again with further tax hikes this time under the green banner.

As I and many others have said pump price increases have nothing to do with going green and everything to do with screwing more tax out of the plebs.

But New Labour listen to people? About as likely as Gordon Brown gaining depth perception!

Mate, leftists have always been for the working man and the poor man, for keeping them working and poor that is.
