Iran: Makwan Moloudzadeh Was Executed in Kermanshah Central Prison.

Despite an order by the Iranian Chief Justice to nullify his death sentence, Mr. Makvan Mouloodzadeh was executed in Kermanshah Central Prison at 5 a.m. this morning, Iranian time. Neither Mr. Mouloodzadeh’s family or his lawyer were told about the execution until after it occurred.

Mr. Mouloodzadeh was a 21-year-old Iranian citizen who was accused of committing anal rape with other young boys when he was 13 years old. However, at Mr. Mouloodzadeh’s trial, all the witnesses retracted their pre-trial testimonies, claiming to have lied to the authorities under duress. Makvan also told the court that his confession was made under coercion and pleaded not guilty. On June 7, 2007, the Seventh District Criminal Court of Kermanshah in Western Iran found him guilty and sentenced him to death. Despite his lawyer’s appeal, the Supreme Court upheld his death sentence on August 1, 2007.

The local authorities in Paveh and Kermanshah were insistent that the death sentence should be carried out. One of the officials is reported to have said the city 'Paveh's youth have become too cheeky; we should execute one so that it may be a lesson to others'.

The Islamic regime executed young Makwan because it wanted to create a climate of fear. The prison authorities even said to the family of Makwan that they had been good enough not to execute him publicly.

Previous post relating to Ahmadinejad's comments on Iran having no homosexuals.

On his visit to the US, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, "In Iran, we don't have homosexuals like in your country. We don't have that in our country. In Iran, we do not have this phenomenon. I don't know who has told you that we have it."

Maybe that is because like Makwan they are now either in hiding or dead? Like the couple executed by Iran in 2005?

“According to Iranian human rights campaigners, over 4,000 lesbians and gay men have been executed since the Ayatollahs seized power in 1979. Altogether, an estimated 100,000 Iranians have been put to death over the last 26 years of clerical rule.”

**Ahmadinejad, a stone age thug leading a government of thugs & murderers.

** Update two, just read my local MP's daily update and he states:
Our new fresh faced Foreign Secretary is going the way of all Foreign Secretaries. Buried beyond exhumation is an ethical foreign policy. Now it's 'diplomacy with teeth.' David Miliband has joined the warmongers' chorus to contradict the news the Iran is not a threat to peace. Foreign policy thrives on scary enemies. If there are no real ones, they must be invented.

**Well Milicunt as I refer to him is an arse, but the chance to rid the world of a brutal thug like Ahmadinejad and his totalitarian backers before they arm that nation with nuclear weapons should be done. Ahmadiejad has already stated openly that he wants the removal of the Zionist state of Israel as he puts it, armed with nuclear missiles he would embroil the whole world in a war.

Be that by sanctions or force if need be, the dictators in Iran need to know they can not go down that route. Still I have said it before and will state it again that Paul Flynn MP is a coward, the sort of man who would happily trade off the lives of Iranian homosexuals and those who seek a democratic more moderate Iran for "peace in our time", maybe we can get a little bit of paper for Mr Flynn to wave as well...

It might be worth remembering that although Iran and its mad dog leader talks peace, Adolf Hitler did the same to delay for time and like Hitlers Germany they were arming up for war and repressing anyone in that nation they did not like.

And who screams "hands off iran" the loudest, ah yes those champions of liberty and equality the left. I'm sure they're all for the freedom and liberty of homosexuals, just not for "freeing" or "liberating" them.

I felt physically sick when I read of the MURDER by Iran of the Gay man Makwan.

This was not an "execution" as they like to put it because an execution anywhere else would follow proper due process of the law, a trial, conviction and sentence. In this case the sentence was in dispute at the highest level, thus this was an act of murder and those responsible should be arrested and tried on that count.

I also noticed that the BBC failed to mention it at all. Surprise, surprise. Instead they tried to make out the "Lyrical Terrorist" was somehow a victim of British for writing poems! Instead, we all know she was a terrorist in waiting.

Two years ago Iran hanged two teenage boys, also for being Gay, again I don't remember the BBC saying a thing! The murder of these two kids caused outrage around the world.

I only hope and pray that one day the people (most of whom are decent people) in Iran rise up and hang each and every Mullah, Ayatolla and government minister from the nearest lamp posts and free themselves from the terror they live under.
