Bushra Noah - A chancer on the make.

Busha Noah who is suing a hairdresser who turned her down for a job because she insisted on wearing her headscarf at work.

Despite the fact Miss Noah had been rejected for 25 different hairdressing jobs after interviews, she is suing Miss Desrosiers for more than £15,000 for injury to her feelings plus an unspecified sum for lost earnings.

Well you got to love that injured feelings bullshit. Tell someone that they have to do something and the old "injured feelings" come out and its lawyers and lots of easy money for chancers. In this case its removing a headscarf at work:

"She said, 'You really should have told me that you wear a headscarf'. She asked if I wore it all the time and I said, 'Yes'. She asked if I would take it off for work and I said, 'No'.

"Wearing a headscarf is very important in my religion and is non-negotiable. It is about showing your modest side."

Well this is where it gets better, not for the salon owner, or common sense. Hell no, after all this is New Labour's "Cool Britannia", where spivs, chancers, claim merchants, shysters and other assorted low lives can get what they want at the drop of a lawyers letter.

Yes Ms Noah has just increased her claim for compensation against Sarah Desrosiers, from £15,000 to £35,000.

Why the leap? Because Ms Desrosiers made the story public. You see blackmail, even legal(ish) blackmail done via the lawyers over offended feelings is fine, but should you dare to complain about it, well that opens up a new opportunity for some easy money. Ms Noah claims that she has received hate mail as a result of the the publicity.

Anyone a bit short of cash? Well the answers easy just find some petty point claim that your feelings have been injured an sue them for 15K, then if they have the nerve to complain about it up the amount you are suing them for to 35K.

I would most likely guess that the "hate mail" that she has received is someone putting her straight on being a spiv, a chancer and someone playing the "hurt feeling" race card.
