New Labour Newspeak. Terrorism is now "anti-Islamic activity"

First up a description of what Newspeak is from Wikipedia, for those who have not read 1984.

Newspeak is a fictional language in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. In the novel, it is described as being "the only language in the world whose vocabulary gets smaller every year." Orwell included an essay about it in the form of an appendix in which the basic principles of the language are explained. Newspeak is closely based on English but has a greatly reduced and simplified vocabulary and grammer. This suits the totalitarian regime of the Party, whose aim is to make any alternative thinking ("thoughtcrime") or speech impossible by removing any words or possible constructs which describe the ideas of freedom, rebellion and so on. One character says admiringly of the shrinking volume of the new dictionary: "It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newspeak

Now from the ruling New Labour party here in the UK we have this:

Ministers have adopted a new language for declarations on Islamic terrorism. In future, fanatics will be referred to as pursuing "anti-Islamic activity".

Security officials believe that directly linking terrorism to Islam is inflammatory, and risks alienating mainstream Muslim opinion.

In her first major speech on radicalisation, Miss Smith repeatedly used the phrase "anti-Islamic". She said "Indeed, if anything, these actions are anti-Islamic'. But could Miss Smith please explain then this charming phrase used by many a mad jihadist to both justify the decapitation of prisoners like Ken Bigley and for wider terror attack: Sura (chapter) 47 contains the ayah (verse): "When you encounter the unbelievers on the battlefield, strike off their heads until you have crushed them completely; then bind the prisoners tightly."

Perhaps the most influential modern recapitulation of this passage was provided by the influential Pakistani scholar and leading Islamist thinker S. Abul A' la Mawdudi, who argued that the sura provided the first Qur'anic prescriptions on the laws of war. Mawdudi argued "Under no circumstances should the Muslim lose sight of this aim and start taking the enemy soldiers as captives. Captives should be taken after the enemy has been completely crushed."

Another section our Jaqui whittered on about was to enlisting the Muslim community against "anti-Islamic activity". What she means by that is spending lot of money, huge amounts of cash to buy peace. Setting up quango's with asshats like Inayat Bunglawala of the MCB.

The other point that New Labour have been hot on is the bizarre idea that assertiveness courses and the like, that they believe will stop women in the moslem community becoming involved with terrorism, sorry the insurgency, or is it just "anti-Islamic activity" to use New Labour speak? Talk about poacher turned gamekeeper. Still its all very right, groovy and ultra pc and ticks all the right boxes.

Whitehall sources have made it clear that the "war on terror" and "Islamic extremism" will not be used again by people at the top of Government or those involved in counterterrorism strategy. Got that, the phrases have not been banned but they won't be used i case it offends some poor moslem and well who knows what sort of terrorism, sorry "anti-Islamic activity" that will lead to.

Sir Ken Macdonald, the Director of Public Prosecutions, has also said phrases which liken London to a " battlefield" will no longer be used. Which misses the point that the terrorists, sorry anti-Islamic activists see the war against the infidel(can I still use that?) as the very basis of their religion, it is at the heart of their being.

In her speech, Miss Smith said extremists who use the internet to radicalise young children would be pursued in the same way as paedophiles. Sounds like soundbite politics to me, spin to use New Labour speak.

But wait what is the main core on the governments drive to tackle terror? Deportations of hate clerics? Tighter checks and controls of people entering and leaving the UK? Well no, they are going to set up a new bunch of penpushers.

Her plans also include a "new unit" to sift through intelligence gathered by police and security agents. I can see the job ad's winging their merry way to The Guardian any day now...

The unit will be told to "identify, analyse and assess not just the inner circle of extremist groups, but those at risk of falling under their influence". Young people found to be falling under the spell of potential terrorists will be targeted for help by community leaders and the authorities.

Helpful workers from HM Govt. will be there with tea and biscuits ready to bow and scrape to moslem leaders, give them what ever they like and we will pay.

Outdoor activity centres and sports facilities will be sent guidance to stop them being used as meeting places by fanatics after the July 7 bombers were photographed attending a white water rafting centre in Wales.

Mosques will be helped - no doubt at public expense- to root out extremism, with imams encouraged to learn English. Efforts will be made to improve the access of women to mosques and their management committees. - Spin & hype.

There will be new advice for universities on how to deal with extremism on campus, and a crackdown on extremist material in libraries and galleries. - Propaganda and state subsidized moslem hugging.

A forum of headteachers will be set up to advise on what more can be done to protect children and build bridges between communities. - In short free spin and hype.

Youngsters will be taught about all faiths in schools, and £2million will be spent "twinning" schools of different faiths. - More spin and hype.

Funding will be boosted to allow more youngsters to carry out volunteer work overseas. Fun action packed holidays in Afghanistan, Pakistan's more rugged tribal areas an maybe a trip to fun packed Somalia with Jihadi holidays.

The Government also wants to hold more "roadshows" of mainstream Islamic scholarship around the country. - More spin & hype again.

As I stated before about Miss Smith, the latin vacca foeda really describes her perfectly.

**Its all going to end in tears. Mostly those left behind mourning the loss of family members after the next terrorist outrage, carried out by some scumbag jihadist fuck.

Agreed and the New Labour lot can not even see that eventually even they will have to be dhimmi's, slaves or have their head in the bucket in an Islamic state.
