Paul Flynn - mocking the problem of the homeless.

Labour MP Paul Flynn has attacked housing charity Shelter Cymru because he says it is ignoring the progress made in tackling housing problems.

Writing in his blog, the MP for Newport West said the charity operated "a fatwa against good news".

He said it had invited him and other MPs to a "sob-in" at Westminster and he published official figures suggesting homelessness in Wales had decreased.

Shelter Cymru said it was keen to work with MPs on homeless issues.

Dewi Knight from the charity added the tone of the letter sent to MPs inviting them to the Shelter Cymru reception in the House of Commons in February suggested that it would be far from the "sob-in" referred to by Mr Flynn.

In Mr Flynn's blog which was published on Tuesday, he also said many pressure groups were guilty of "bloated empire building" but pointed out that some were also well-managed and did marvellous work.

**Not really an issue of as proven liar and libel case loser Paul Flynn MP, states "empire building" but one of keeping the pressure on this amoral bunch of fucks that make up our MP's with regards an important social issue.

Of course Mr Flynn who on top of his wages cost the taxpayers £140,014, so one can easily see why he can not connect with those who have no roof over their head.

Maybe Paul Flynn should have voiced his concerns with Shelter Cymru in private with them, rather than spinning figures on the homeless. He should also look at the classification for being called homeless:

So I thought I would see what Shelter had to say, they define being homeless like this(Copied from the Shelter website):

You don't have to be sleeping on the streets to be classed as homeless. You might also be legally homeless if you are:

  • temporarily staying with friends or family
  • staying in a hostel or bed and breakfast
  • living in very overcrowded conditions
  • at risk of violence or abuse in your home
  • living in poor conditions that affect your health
  • living somewhere that you have no legal right to stay in (eg. a squat)
  • living somewhere that you can't afford to pay for without depriving yourself of basic essentials
  • forced to live apart from your family, or someone you would normally live with, because your accommodation isn't suitable.

If you ask the council for help, it will look into your situation to see if it has a legal responsibility to help you as a homeless person.

Not the first time this MP has"bashed the homeless" either, he has mocked soup kitchens as I covered before: Paul Flynn says stuff the homeless as they don't vote New Labour

Truly New Labour have become the party of immorality of the worst type.

BLOG CENSORSHIP ALERT!

In order to preserve the crumbling credibility of THE BIG LIE , the British government, and probably other dhimmi governments, are working on ways to gag, censor and and shutdown the counter-Jihadist blogosphere.

There is currently a discusion of how to prepare for these attacks on freedom of expression at http://ibloga.blogspot.com/2008/01/najistani-on-why-britain-may-crack-down.html and also at http://commonsenseagainstislam.websanon.com/?p=113.
