The BBC are being very coy about the "ethnic makeup of these suspects..."

"Three men have been arrested on suspicion of committing terror offences, police say.

Two of the men were held at Manchester Airport, while the third was detained in nearby Accrington.

Lancashire Police said the men, aged 21, 22 and 23, were all from the Blackburn area. Their homes are being searched by specialist officers."

Here is a clue:

Ch Supt Andy Rhodes, of Lancashire Police, said: "These arrests and subsequent searches of the nearby premises will be conducted with sensitivity and carried out as quickly as possible to ensure minimum impact on the three areas concerned.

I wonder when the BBC will use the dreaded M word?
This site here says this:

A spokesman for Lancashire police said all three men were in their 20s and identified them as being "Asian" - meaning that they were of Indian, Bangladeshi, or Pakistani ethnicity.

He said he did not know whether they were British citizens, and spoke on condition of anonymity in line with force policy.

The police's statement said the men's homes were being searched.

Whats a difference to the BBC reporting, or should that be lack of reporting!
