More Labour Lies from the past: 1 million children out of poverty & New Deal.

Gordon claimed to have lifted one million children out of poverty since 1997, although others claimed the figure was half of that.

He was lambasted by the Tresury select committee for raising taxes without considering their impact.

He claimed that 5.2 billions on the New Deal had made 200,000 new jobs.  However the Institute for the Study of Civil Society stated that barely 18,000 new jobs were created at a cost of £1.7 billion.

Wait it gets better, by which I mean far worse as even those figures were disputed. Only 10% of entrants had actually completed their training and at least 50,000 were back on benefits within just three months.

It was even stated that by the time New Deal started youth unemployment was no longer a problem and that the 5.2 billion was wasted.

Many employers left New Deal claiming that it was overcomplicated.

How long, O Cyclops, will you abuse our patience? How long is that madness of yours still to mock us? When is there to be an end of that unbridled audacity of yours?

Labour & their champagne swilling backers all part of a nomenklatura supporting a leader out of touch with reality.

It's creative accounting and lies.
We waste billions on cosmetic shit like this.
Poverty is relative by the way.
