New Labour - Don't mention the war.

Does anyone remember the porkie pies we were all sold over the Iraq war? Our former grinning PM smiling as he said that the Iraqi's had weapons and we were all in danger.

The sexed up dossiers, then the hounding of Dr David Kelly to death as he would not tow the party line? In other words he was told to shut the hell up and hounded to keep quiet.

Oh and no sign of Blair when the body bags started coming back to Britain then?

No sign of him either when terrorists blew up people in London on 7/7, other than to deny it had anything to do with his war that is?

No visits from Blair to the wounded?

Now its all "withdraw" and "job accomplished" and "bringing them home" an not a word on the lies Blair told.

Now maybe that was the "Old New Labour" party under Tony, rather than the "New New Labour" party under Gordon. The "New New Labour" party that will bring them back, before deploying them in nearby Afghanistan a short time later.

All we hear from them on the rare occasions that Iraq is mentioned by some doddery old back bencher is how all the fault lays with one George W Bush. Not a peep on how they all rattled the socialist sabres years back calling for a Crusade sorry regime change, best not say Crusade that might lose them moslem votes.

Yet when it was going oh you could not shut them up for soundbites on the BBC about sodding war crimes, illegal war, impeach Blair etc etc etc.

Now an election is coming up in a year or so - whenever the one eyed coward from Govan summons up the courage to face the electorate - we hear nothing on an inquiry into the Iraq War? Strange that as so so many of the back benchers who were very vocal about that for so long now realise that might just cost them votes. Must remember the moslem share of the vote.

But Iraq is old news, buryed news. Something New Labour is good at. After all they did say that 9/11 was a good day for burying bad news. This "credit crunch" is marvellous news for them, well other than bailing the banks out!

Even our sabre rattling against the evil Al Quada has been toned down, suddenly its not terrorism here in the UK. Rather we have the weasel words of "Anti Islamic Activity" and loads of cash appear to appease mullahs, immans and others who can influence the moslem vote. After all its all important to appease those who have influence over votes to be cast in a forthcoming election.

Sorry about the fibs to start the Iraq War, that was "Old New Labour" under Tony, we are "New New Labour" so come vote for us, inshalla it shall be so!

David Miliband even dropped the term "War on Terror", a case of "War on Terror"? What us? No that was "Old New Labour", after all we achieved regime change in Iraq and its also happened in No.10 Downing Street as well.

That term has vanished as fast as the 45min excuse for starting the war in the first place.

Lets just hope that the many moslems here in the UK, remember the duplicitous attitude of New Labour(both old and new) and cast their votes against them.

All New Labour MP's are thieving lying scum, hiding their expense, expense paid for from our taxes. Part of a nomenklatura supporting a leader out of touch with reality.

Whether you like it or not, same can be said of the children of Palestine. I am not on any "side" in this war but I certainly do think that steps should have been taken to evacuate the children from Gaza whilst the adults carried out their mutual vendetta's!

Sadly the kids an old folk are the first to get killed in any war.

Just getting a tad pissed at some Labour MP's - the same ones who bleated on about the illegal war - now praising the troops and being silent on their former protests.
