We're not handing over the Falklands - says Cyclops.

Gordon Brown will today bluntly reject Argentina’s demand for Britain to give way over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.

The Prime Minister will tell the country’s president, Cristina Kirchner, there is ‘nothing to discuss’ in what are expected to be tense face-to-face talks.

I do hope that this does not go the same way as his promise for no more boom or bust.

Or maybe his promise for a vote on a certain treaty on Europe.

Maybe like the broken promise not to raise fuel duty, actually that was broken twice by him.

Oh and he reneged on a promise to spend the money raised from fuel duties on transport improvements.

Then we have the broken promises on child proverty, mixed sex wards, road building, a fair tax system....

I do hope the people of the Falklands are not let down but knowing this shit, if I were there I would be dusting off that Spanish phrase book just in case!
