A cash-strapped council has come under fire after beginning work on a giant Hollywood style sign at the cost of £12,000.
Residents reacted with fury after council chiefs in Kent revealed plans to spell out the name of their district of Medway in giant white letters on the side of a hill, in a copycat version of the world famous Tinseltown emblem.
Maybe the hoons in The Commons will do the same?...
