Sir Alan Sugar - Now a Lord who has donated over a million quid to Labour.(post 3)

What a stroke of luck for Sir Alan Sugar....

Viglen, the UK PC maker, has won a Office of Government Commerce contract worth up to £30m to supply public sector organisations with 70,000 PCs. Its chairman, Sir Alan Sugar, is very pleased indeed.

“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract on an equitable basis”, he says.

Now this has nothing to do with him donating £1 million quid to Labour, as well as being a high profile media chap who can get their message over.

According to Sir Alan, the win "proves that British companies like Viglen can punch outside their weight against stiff overseas competitors, who internationally are many times bigger than us".

Indeed, a new job in government, a peerage. Nothing to do with the £1 million donated to the one eyed leaders party I am sure and now a cushy £30 million pound contract.

It would appear that £1 million pound donation has paid dividends already.

What a lucky chap Sir Alan is.

It seems to me that the only way that you qualify for a place in snottys government these days, is NOT to be democratically elected.

Can we be Ministers I wonder?
